Walnut shrimp, fried rice, and general tso chicken
    Stan H.

The food is fine but definitely doesn't hit the standard of good quality Asian food. There are Asian restaurants that probably do worse but definitely ones that do better. I had cheese wantons and I enjoyed all the food but have had better walnut shrimp in most other places. Service was okay but you could sense they felt tired and typical city vibe but still very professional. Coming here was like for me being a little kid that just wanted to try this chain out to see how it is because I was passing by it and I finally did. I miss the Pei Wei chain lol.

This place is my go to after coming out of the fashion district. I was coming out of the mall and looking for a good place to eat. There was a long line of people, so I figured I would stop by here. You can't usually go wrong with their orange chicken, which is the best. There's a lot of space and great seating available. Everything is clean and the staff is very helpful. I was able to go through the line and order food easily. I sat down and enjoyed my Orange Chicken with Fried Rice. The food was great. I had a great meal here and would definitely come back again next time. I am in the city.

This is where the restaurant is located

The manager Edmond is the most rudest person I've ever met, very unprofessional and has a bad attitude. I had to buy a $3 soda for my 4 year old to use the bathroom and she was very close to peeing on herself at the time of the encounter after I assured the manager I was prepared to not only pay but to dine in. Do not eat here, they are rude and racist if you are a person of color we are not welcomed in the establishment. They were very arrogant. I will never ever go back.

Mouse under the buffet. I took a video of them all running around and. Its on IG

They had mice! multiple mice and we saw them jump into the buffet after closing time when walking back to the hotel. The food was mediocre and I wanted to puke after seeing that. The service was about the same. I will never Ever eat here again! No one should until they get their pest issue handled.

    Honey walnut shrimp

I've been hearing so much about this honey walnut shrimp at Panda Express and last Friday was the perfect oppurtunity for me to try and see if its all it cracked up to be. Well the dish was delicious. Since seafood is my thing and shrimp is the best in the seafood game. I knew that I prolly would like it being as tho I rarely met a shrimp I didn't like. My honey walnut shrimp had a nice crispy coating on the outside that was sweet but not too sweet. The glazed walnuts was the perfect consistency, it definitely added great flavor to the shrimp. Overall I think the honey walnut shrimp would pair well with rice or a side salad. Great service, the line moved really fast even during lunch hour. My dish was pretty pricey. I paid about 14.00 for my side only but for the quality of the flavor. Its worth it plus they offer other items that are pretty reasonable like orange chicken and beef and broccoli. This was definitely a treat and a splurge for me. Definitely would return anytime I want to get my honey walnut shrimp fix on!

The homemade DanDan noodles were our favorite, which are served with ground pork in a spicy peanut sauce. We also got the three cup chicken which was so good, with a sweet, licorice-like glaze. Some other favorites were the black pepper chicken and the long hot chicken, if you enjoy spice. We had the ginger and scallion dish and was not our favorite, as the chicken had a unique consistency and was quite limp. Overall, good service and a relaxing ambiance in a bustling city.

Unfortunately the experience at pickup wasn't the best. I asked if they had included utensils and the gentleman at the counter said no. I asked for some since I was bringing the food back to my hotel and wouldn't have anything to eat with. He was pretty dismissive and didn't seem to want to give me anything. (I also didn't get any napkins.) Just a little strange when ordering takeout, utensils should be included right? Or at the very least be readily given out when requested? He begrudgingly gave me 2 pairs of chopsticks and a fork, said he ran out of spoons. I didn't notice the lack of napkins until I got back. Now for the food. We ordered dan dan noodles, a chicken lo mein, and Taiwanese minced pork rice. The noodle dishes were decent but the lo mein was a bit too al dente for our liking...especially for our young son. Didn't get a chance to eat the rice because we were all too full from the noodles. Appreciate the generous portions at least. Will see if the rice will make it home safely with us and reheats well. Can't speak on the ambience. Wasn't in there long enough to really look around. Will I order from them again or try in person in the future? I'm not sure. I wasn't blown away by the food or service so...

Lazy Sunday after an unsuccessful Memorial Day beach weekend. It was cold and rainy all weekend but…read morewe decided to hit up some beef noodle soup place to warm up. On this cold almost summer day, Nan Zhou was hustling and bustling. Separate parties at the same round table and clients coming in and out of the restaurant facade. Warm lighting and active banter. I received my bowl of beef noodle soup was pretty satisfied. Beef was tender with flavorful bites of fattiness. Somehow, the meat tastes beefier than beef. The cilantro had potent herbaceous flavor with some spinach(?) and mustard greens. Noodles were pleasantly chewy w variation in texture. Lowkey, everything else was alright. I like to be nice so I'll say no more. Cucumbers were fine

This place was packed, which is always a good sign, and even with that the staff stayed super prompt and professional. The house special was my favorite. I got it with the knife-cut noodles and it was perfect with the broth. The noodles had that slightly uneven, chewy texture that really holds onto the soup. I never thought I'd be the type to talk about "mouthfeel" but here we are. The broth itself was rich and savory with a deep beef flavor, a little bit of oil on top that adds body without feeling too heavy. It's that classic, comforting Chinese beef noodle soup done really well. I added a braised egg, which had great flavor soaked into it, though it was served cold, which threw me off a bit. The mapo tofu with noodles was also really solid. It had that signature spicy, numbing kick from the Sichuan peppercorns, balanced with a savory, slightly salty sauce. The tofu was soft and silky, and mixing it with the noodles made it extra satisfying. It's got some heat but not overwhelming, just enough to keep you going back for another bite. The shrimp stir fry was lighter but still flavorful. The shrimp were cooked well, tender with a slight snap, and the sauce leaned more on the savory side with a mild sweetness. It felt like a nice balance alongside the heavier noodle dishes. Couple practical things: it's cash only, but there's an ATM right by the seating area which makes it easy. And the portions are generous for the price, so it feels like a really good deal. Overall, super satisfying spot. Busy, a little chaotic, but the food absolutely delivers. Definitely a go-to if you're craving hand-pulled noodles.

Hopefully it's good food!? The hostess warned us of 15 minute delay for seatings. No worries. Sat at bar enjoying a beer which was nice. Got to be sat in a room, circular table which was perfect! Then the staff got to work. Took drink orders and food orders. The food was ordered by my daughter so I really don't know what was name of each dish. The Hot and Sour was super. Had a chicken dish like orange chicken that was really good. Something tasted like moshu beef was very tasty. Then they served a spicy chicken that was fantastic! I wish I knew the name!! They had an extensive menu, most of which, I've never tasted. So we requested some egg rolls as an appetizer. I also requested won ton soup. My daughter and I decided to share some Singapore noodles and my son requested orange chicken. My cousin requested beef and tofu and two different kinds of dumplings. The food is served family style and it turned out that we requested too much. However, all the dishes were yummy. Favorites were the spicy dumplings, won ton soup, orange chicken, and beef and tofu. There are so many Asian restaurants in this area that you could never try all of them. Anyway, I'm glad we enjoyed EMei. Recommend.

When I first walked in, I was about to walk out as the atmosphere was very hipster-est & not of traditional Chinese restaurant. We sat down. Gave us a menu and tea was served immediately. Good sign. A bit on the higher priced side for this dish but as I've had some great food from a different Han Dynasty location I didn't mind trying them out. Portion size was average on the chicken. The spice level says 8/10 but it was definitely on the weaker side. Maybe the peppers themselves were older / dried out and the flavor faded too much vs fresher peppers right before cooking. Maybe a bad choice of dish or an off day but as compared to a few other Sichuan dry pepper dishes from other restaurants around Philly it was a clear step below them. Might try a different choice if I order again.
