Unfortunately, this is one of my least favorite Panda Express locations. The biggest issue is that the food quality feels inconsistent. I usually order the greens, but during my last few visits, the broccoli has been undercooked and difficult to bite through. It's disappointing because this isn't something I typically expect from Panda Express. The staff is fine, and the ambiance is what you'd expect from a standard Panda Express. Panda Express seems all the rage of late. Everywhere I look on You Tube or Facebook, there's some influencer joker posting about this new Cantonese BBQ Beef Brisket that just came out at all the Panda Expresses. I've already tried the new Brisket at another location and thought it was tasty, but the portions were so skimpy especially considering the upcharge of $2.00 PER serving of the Brisket. I got a 2 serving plate with chow mien and it ended up being $15.50 inc tax. All I got was 12 pieces of the brisket. I mean little slices, not big slabs like at a Texas brisket place. I decided to give it another try, but order differently. I'm gonna skip the carbo noodles and just get the meat. They have an option to order ala carte in a box. A medium order which just includes 12 pieces of brisket (yeah I asked how much) was $13.50 inc tax, served in a little dinky box. I just wanted to judge the meat on it's own merits, no combo with orange chicken like the YouTubers! This was about $1.00 per little slice! OK, I will say the Cantonese BBQ Beef Brisket is very tender, way more tender than most any other brisket I ever had. I don't care that it's not "REAL" Chinese like some of those YouTube commenters, this is Panda Express Chinese American food central! What I do have a problem with, is the portioning policies of corporate Panda (just 6 pieces per order.... really?) and the pricing. I can get way more food at a mom and pop Chinese fast food, like a place we have in Red Bluff. Sure you can't get beef brisket like this at any other Chinese or BBQ place , so there's that. This Brisket is supposed to end late August, so I got a feeling it's not going to keep going with the portion and pricing they have. I think I've had my fill of this BBQ Beef Brisket for now. My daughter's class was having a party at school and we found out last minute. I showed up shortly after they opened so they weren't super busy and all the food looked beautiful and fresh. The store was spotless and organized with everything in place and stocked. I was told about the party trays and was quickly packed up with a tray, lots of fortune cookies, and sauces. They even put it in a reusable bag, which I love because I use those for groceries! Everyone was friendly and I was in and out, making it to the party in time! read more

My son ordered food there yesterday and got sick about an hour after eating their food. He vomited while he was at work, it was so bad his co-worker had to drive him back home where he vomited again. He lost several hours of work. Good thing my wife is a health care professional and treated his symptoms right away otherwise it would have been an expensive trip to the hospital. my Favorite mexican restaurant but not only because of delicious, quality food. did you ever watch the TV sitcom "cheers"? Where everybody knows your name... that's what you could hear it is like being sat down for dinner with family even if they don't really know your name (yet), they will make you feel as if they've known you forever you can come meet with just yourself and never feel alone..... You don't have to set up a play date with your friends just come on your own when you feel like it they will make you feel welcome , like your favorite sweater wrapped around you.... know about the food I don't do carbs because my metabolism has slowed down and I don't need any help gaining weight so it's basically meat and vegetables for me I love their cod fillet two different ways that you can have it garlic sauce or tomato base I did get a side of the meatball soup I always get the tortilla soup which is fabulous but I wanted to try the meatball soup and oh my gosh it is if my grandmother made it if you're feeling like you're coming down with the meatball soup it'll knock it right out.... because I don't do carbs I order the side of beans usually black beans which I love did you a great job on that and they're sauté vegetables the best ! Plus the frozen margarita is to die for. Hayley, the adorable hostess with the pigtails who loves puppy dogs said the pomegranate margarita is fabulous so I might have to try that next time. They offer NINE chicken dishes and only one shrimp ( which is never available ) , two beef, and one steak dish.... and many of them are spicy. First off this is the worst PE that I have been to, dry chowmein, portions are the WORST! I kept asking him for more chowmein and he would fluff up the chow mein act like he's picking up a bunch and drops all of it and places two or three strands in the box,I finally got tired of fighting with him and walked out. My wife's 2 item plate was more like an appetizer. The worst place I have ever been to. We got into the drive thru at 9pm and didn't get our food until 10:15pm. The staff was rude, I asked for my money back at 10pm once I got to the window and the guy working said "oh your food will be ready in a moment and we can't give money back" 15 minutes later and we finally got the food. Order was wrong, no chicken in the string bean chicken. Apparently they were not making anyone's food until you got to the window. They didn't even fill our order correctly. I've been pretty regular to this location for the past year or so since I started working at a small business on churn creek. It was easy, cheap and fast. However over time it has slowly degraded. It's really a roulette to whether the food is good. Either undercooked, overcooked, too dry or on the rare occasion that it is good. The last few times it's made me sick to my stomach and have diarrhea. I was only getting the beef with no issues and when I decided to try the chicken again, I've now been sick the last few days with symptoms of food posioning. I've watched them cook indoors and the chicken is definitely not done long enough. It's almost always pink inside. The beef seems ok. I would avoid the chicken and chow mein for being too dry. It's unfortunate because the other location is almost as bad. Eat here at your own risk! read more

Wow!!! What a screw job....if it isn't bad enough that I have to sit in a drive thru line a mile long. You shaft me by serving me 3 half full bowls....then on top of that crap you give me nothing but cabbage with very little noodles and a few measly pieces of chicken. You can tell you're taking advantage of this COVID BS to screw the little guy that's struggling by NOT giving him/her the value for what they paid for knowing they probably won't be back to complain as it's drive thru only. First time here & new to the area. Went thru the drive thru & that was pretty fast & nice servers. We ordered 2 meals ..1 was Teriyaki Chicken with Chow Mein only..Teriyaki Chicken was o.k. (My hubby likes sweet so it fit that descript); Chow Mein was bland, Second order was for Bejing Beef, Kung Pao Chicken w/white rice. The white rice was good, Bejing Beef (supposed to be spicy?) was dull, sweet... Kung Pao Chicken was NOT spicy (edible though) And only had ONE red pepper in it? That meal was very disappointing, to say the least!! If people want hot, spicy..a Franchise should know better .. Or they haven't sent Corporate to taste this here? I LOVE spicy, hot dishes so know you won't get that here..unless you change the flavor by using their Hot Mustard (which I did in order to not throw it ALL out)! If you want sweeter flavors..they can accommodate you here! I used to order their Spicy Eggplant Tofu just because the spice was awesome in it .. Hot, hot! They took that off the menu & I'd been ordering it in the town I'm from (where they knew what spicy means) so guess that's not happening! My suggestion would be to bring back a Spicy Tofu Dish with whatever veggies you want since it was the only "real" spicy I'd had on the menu! Not that I'm into Tofu per say but they made it right..crisp fried, spicy, etc... And it is healthy for people! BTW.. I normally read Yelp postings beforehand but we were in a hurry & passing by so being a Franchise, assumed food would be like we normally get at other Panda's ... Soooo wrong! Told them my order through the drive through, they got it wrong after seeing it on the screen and i told them so but they told me they already made it and kept asking me if they wanted me to throw away the food every time i told them they got my order wrong. Im not going to pay for something i didn't order because you were negligent and cannot hear clearly. After they threw away the food they kept laughing until i had to tell them i would like to order my food while they laughed and held up the drive through line. The children working there need to be retrained. They are not competent enough to listen, take the order, and then scoop the food onto a tray to give to the customer. This is our "go to" take out meals. We have experienced a few issues over the last couple of years but whenever we have they go out of their way to make it right. We haven't been here in several years, but it was convenient and we were hungry, so decided to give it a try. We each ordered a bowl, which were about 3/4 full. The food was passable, but the place was filthy. We checked several tables before finding one in the corner that looked clean. While I was eating I rested my left arm on the table and it was all sticky. The entire time we were there nobody removed anything left on tables, not did they clean the tables. Customer service is awful! Had to wait through drive thru way to long! Went to all the Three in the area and got either "we're out of almost everything for the night", or "sorry we closed early and no I won't turn off the menu lights because I just work here" to "we're basically out of food but if you want something I guess we can make it but you'll have to wait 15 minutes". We opted for the last one which was on Dana drive. It took 20 minutes to get through the drive thru because they were only doing one car at a time. We pulled around front to wait for our food and I went in to use the bathroom... mind you the inside is still open for another hour. All of the tables have been taken down and there's cones around the bathrooms. When I asked if I could use the bathroom I was told no because they were getting ready to close on an hour at which time they would be cleaning them... in an hour. We asked for a bunch of sweet and sour sauce... we got 3 small little packets. What a freaking joke!!!!! read more

Google's hours for this place were confusing so we called on the way to double check when they close. The guy on the phone was really friendly and had a great attitude, told us their hours. When we got there we had to wait a couple minutes at the window, but nothing too long. Keng was really kind to us and the order was made perfect, nothing missing or wrong. My husband ordered food from this location off of the app last night a few minutes after 8PM. The order said it would be ready for pickup at 8:30. We showed up to the location at approx 8:35 or so, only to find out that our order hadn't even been placed, and the lobby or drive thru appeared to be very slow in business. We waited for 15 more minutes. There seemed to be ample workers as well, who took priority to the couple of customers that came to the counter rather than my husband, who had already ordered & paid, as well as one other Doordash driver that was waiting to pickup his order to deliver, that he was also waiting on. It was frustrating for us, who should have had no issue picking up during a slow business time with plenty of time in advance, with few customers appearing to be at the location itself. The food was normal for Panda Express, that was not the issue. The issue was simply the service we received. It was very disappointing, and we are extremely unlikely to go to this location again. What is the point of ordering off the app if the people who walk in and order are given priority? At that rate, we would've just walked in and ordered at the counter like anyone else and would have been in and out faster rather than waiting until 8:50PM to receive our food.
