Hmmm Where do I even begin?? The employees take a few minutes to see a customer walk in let alone acknowledge them. Customer service here can be finicky. You never know what moods the workers will be in. I get that everyone has bad days. At the same time - it's never alright to take it out on others. No need to roll your eyes or give an attitude. To top it off, this is not the first time I've had an issue with this location... It's the THIRD! My significant other's mom ordered Chinese food for dinner tonight for 4. We went to pick dinner up and headed home. About 5-10 minutes after getting back, she (his mom) asked "did A get her dinner"? He came into the TV room and asked me. I said no. So he went to the living room and said to his mom "no she didn't". "Okay, you'll have to go back", she said. We did just that. Because of the mess up this location did - we were offered free food. E and I headed back to get our food, which this time included my dinner. This time the employees got it right. This made me happy. Free food didn't come .. I was annoyed about that for a minute - and E called his mom. She said don't worry about it. I got my food and that is what mattered most. This location lacks empathy and compassion. I Truly enjoy the food from Panda Express, however the service can improve. I rarely go into the restaurant to eat anymore because of how busy it is. Today I placed my order online, got a notification and proceeded to pick it up. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I was told my order didn't appear in their system. I provided my verification email and the text i received to be told my order wasn't there. I asked for a refund and was told they couldn't do that because the order didn't appear on their end. Making it seem as if I was lying about my order. The gal came back out and stated she needed my entire order #. And of course I'm still waiting while a person "with a higher status" checked on the order. Once he was able to verify I placed the order, he sent the gal back out and she stated someone else had taken my order. Even more frustrating is the fact that every time I order online they ask me for verification (text/email) but allowed someone else to walk out with an entire family meal! 4.5 stars decided to round up Ordered A plate with The original Orange Chicken, and Beef and Broccoli with Veggies on the side with a Dr.Pepper. This place is a mess! The food is good, but everything else is wildly below the normal Panda Expeess standard! The drive-through menu looks trashed like it's been vandalized and unused for years. The service is highly unprofessional and very un-accommodating. The speaker at the drive through order area abruptly switched persons in between reciting back our order, and didn't even recite our order back correctly. They didn't have steamed veggies and said we would need to wait, so I asked if they could substitute another vegetable dish instead and they could not. Maybe it's something with their system that renders them unable to be flexible with this, but otherwise a place with good customer service would make it happen. Ordered at the drive thru, got to the window and the guy tries to hand me the styrofoam "dine-in" container with noodles hanging out of it and sauces leaking down the sides through the window. I said "bag please" and he looked frustrated and told me I was supposed to ask for a bag when ordering! I told him " I am in a drive through, why would I NOT want a bag?" The order was also wrong and he said he would bring it out if I would park and wait. Minutes later, out comes a different person with my meal on a tray (still no bag and order still wrong). I saw another employee trying to hand another drive through customer the same "no bag" container. Do they really expect people to just set those containers on their seat and take off now? This Panda used to be my go to, but the last few months have just led to one horrible experience after another. I get that their job is high tasking and stressful, but they also get paid enough to make up for that work. So, the down attitudes (even at open, in the morning, wow...) aren't appreciated. Beyond that, the food will have a 50/50 chance at being edible and good, warm... and I'd say like a 70/30 chance they get your order right. I've gotten completely wrong plates that I didn't pay for, and also they SUCK AT PORTIONING here. 50/50 super green and chow mein comes out to 80/20 chow mein. I want my greens dudes! Inside dining is always stupid loud, you can't even focus. Beyond that, there is ALWAYS SOME food item unavailable, OR I have to wait anywhere from 5-7 min in the parking lot. They've actually done this to me and then completely forgot about my food so I sat in my car for like 15 minutes. Today I came in and after they opened, 10:07 am they didn't have any honey walnut, no sizzling shrimp, no super greens and a few other items missing. So my question, what are they doing BEFORE they open? Messing around? Because, food should be ready at open. You don't come to Starbucks and hear, "Oh we actually haven't made the mocha for your drink so you'll have to wait 5-7 minutes for that!" Ridiculous. Respect peoples time! 30 minutes after they opened they finally had food available. So I had to sit around for that whole time. Not worth the trouble anymore. I'll start off with the fact that I found a dead insect in the steamed rice, so that was wonderful. That put a hard stop to eating the food, so only getting a few pieces of orange chicken didn't end up making a difference. And as a nice topper my drink was only about half filled and the person in the window was kinda rude about it. What the heck is the deal here? I get that it's crazy times because of the pandemic but there's no excuse for having bugs in the food and the crap quality of the experience overall. I dont know why there are so many negative posts on this site. Sometimes i wonder if its even about the food at all. my experience has been great every single time. The portion sizes are always plentiful and even when something is not available they cook it to order. Drive thru for Panda is perhaps the fastest drive thru in all of Washington state for all the Pandas. All in all a great choice for fast food Chinese-American. read more

I don't understand how this is happening, I worked for panda for 3 years and never have I ever seen such failure in a workplace, every time the food is wrong. Today ordered Rice and teriyaki bowl, and a chow mein black pepper bowl, and a small side of The new steak entree. the 2nd bowl came out with white rice instead and the premium entree I paid extra for was Beijing beef. This is a good Panda Express location. Some might think a place isn't good if the workers there aren't always chipper and smiling but I disagree for a place like this. Those cooks and servers work their butts off near those hot, muggy ovens and warming plates to keep their large menu stocked allll day. I've never had them tell me they don't have something I wanted and nothing ever looks or tastes like it's been sitting there for too long. I'm always impressed by how clean the kitchen is considering the massive amount they're constantly cooking back there, too. I went once went through the drive-thru about 10 minutes before closing time, and my friend had absolutely no clue what he wanted so we had to walk in instead. I went and ordered a plate and the egg roll and veggie spring rolls and then when I paid I noticed the rolls weren't inside, I asked if I could get them because I didn't see them and with an attitude like I should've known already how they work she told me "they're in there" so I said no I don't see them and again same tone, "in the container" and now I get home just to see the attitude was for not reason because I don't have my rolls in the container. Food portions were good, taste was good. Three stars cause toilets were both clogged and not working.

This Panda Express needs to up their game. In the past they were great but it's been getting worse and worse over time. They have inconsistent portion sizes, usually on small side (my husband had 5 slices of chicken teriyaki in his order, a half serving from our past Panda expirences.) Noodles were just thrown in our To-go box so that they covered the entire bottom of the box with the skimpy serving of the two entrees on top. It made me wonder if Panda Express had reduced their portion sizes all around. Then my husband went to the Panda Express in Pasco off of Rd 68 about a week later. He said they did a much better job at that location. The noodles and entrees were in their correct spots, not mixed together, and the portion sizes were noticibly larger. So, now its confirmed to my husband and I, that portion sizes haven't changed. The quality at the Richland Panda Express is slipping, and you won't get a consistent meal here. Something needs to change at this location, for now we'll pass. read more
