A lot of people turn their nose up at the Panda Express. It's true that the PX is not a lot of things in Chinese food or dining I general. That's not news, or even fair. The PX is all about fast food at a great price. It reminds me of the "Chinese and American" restaurants of my youth (my youth was 50 years ago). I bring my 98.5 year old mom here and we split a 3 item dinner plate. She likes the walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, eggplant with tofu, and the chow Mein. I'm 69yo myself, so this is enough for the two of us, along with drinks. Some reviewers seem to take issue with the workers here, but I have never had an issue. I've found them to be hard working and doing a great job for us. The place is bright and clean-ish. No frills, but I'm fine with it. It's not gross at all. I like the PX app and the deals that. One with it. Also, points accumulate fast to get you more sides or apps. I'm fond of this place and will continue to come here. read more

Hey, it's a neighborhood place. No one is driving all the way over here unless you're already nearby. The food is solid and what you expect from Chinese fast food. Sometimes when you play a game of pickleball, you want some yummy Panda afterwards. This is exactly what happened to me and my fiance last Sunday! Post our game we drove over to Panda and got the 3 entree combo which was a fantastic decision. We got the noodles with orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and the new sesame chicken with the green beans. Orange chicken and shrimp are our normal choices and we loved this. The Sesame chicken which also had honey was also very good - but we realized everything we got was a little more on the sweet side! She's now serving people after me in line so I stepped to the side. I watch her take care of seven people in line after me. Convenience of ordering Chinese fast food that's already made is extremely convenient considering time. All dishes are good, my favorites are the mushroom chicken, orange chicken, green bean chicken and walnut shrimp. The chow mein isn't the best to be honest, many times it's more cabbage shreds with broken short noodles, end up eating it with a spoon rather than chopsticks or a fork. Portion sizes, now that's definitely really the only downfall. They definitely fill it to a minimum, and many times just when you think they hooked it up with extra orange chicken or that extra broccoli, the worker ends up scooping some back out of your container, so sad. This is the main reason I find myself ordering at another nearby Chinese fast food restaurant rather than ordering here, where they actually fill their container decently with delish food. The location definitely is nice, I mean it's in Evergreen. The store is clean for the most part. What I miss is their hot mustard. This place is extremely stingy, chowmein is full of cabbage and portions are half than what you expect. The lady serving even had the audacity to count out 6 honey walnut shrimp to put into the box. When confronted that I was paying extra and wanted a bit more to fill the box, she said 6 shrimp for each order. Gone are the days of the heaping portions of food. Prices are higher through doordash I think (not confirmed), which l'm ok with since rumor is these delivery services don't leave much profit for the restaurants. What I wasn't ok with was #1 my plates had significantly less food than I normally get, like 1/3 or 1/4 less. Pics don't convey how loose and not packed the food was. #2 ordered the mushroom chicken and it was burnt and tasted of char. Opened up the food and immediate smell = burnt. Traced it to the mushroom chicken which tasted like char through the whole dish (yes, I still ate it). Rangoons were excellent tho. Wow. That char tastes lingers. Stopped by on Saturday, August 2nd around 1pm for take out. *Bigger plate ($8.50): 3 entrees & 1 side -1/2 Chow mein & 1/2 Fried rice -Shanghai angus steak (+$1.25) -Broccoli beef -Black pepper chicken *Chicken egg roll ($1.90) The chow mein was okay, but the rice didn't have much flavor. Plus, there was corn in the rice which the roommate thought was weird. I'd definitely pass on the steak next time as it was super tough. The beef in the broccoli beef was better as it wasn't so dry. The black pepper chicken had lots of black pepper flavor. Was stir fried with celery (I love celery!), but it seems like they didn't peel the celery as some pieces were very stringy. The egg roll was average. I thought the dipping sauce was too sweet. I'd stay away from their hot sauce as it had a very odd flavor. It was spicy, but there was a sweetness of some kind throwing it off. I can't explain it, but I didn't like it. I don't come to Panda Express expecting much. Small portions & old, crusty food. I came here today around 11:30AM, just before the lunch rush. You would expect them to be fully stocked with fresh pans of food, but nope. You know what you're getting when you go to Panda Express. At least the food is pretty consistent across all locations. Unfortunately, they took away the brown fried rice recently. I usually go with the stir fried veggies as my "starch" with mushroom chicken, eggplant tofu, and beef with broccoli. It's hit or miss after 8:30pm here though. Their trays may be empty or half full. if you ask, they'll actually make a fresh portion for you though. Don't forget to fill out the survey to get a free side. They won't let you add the side to a 3 item combination anymore. So in order to use the coupon you'll need to order the 2 item combo and use the coupon for the 3rd item. you know the food portions, i won't argue they do give a good amount of food, however, what i can't justify is their customer service. you had a gentleman come in, mind you homeless and was going to pay for his items asked for ONE shrimp to try, to see if he wanted to buy it. after he said it 5 times he was buying food the lady helping him was being inconsiderate and flat out rude! anything this man asked, she cut him off and would be flat out rude. once she rang him up to her other co worker behind the register & decided in front of this man to speak her native language and give ugly ass faces and just stare at him. what made it worse is.. the next paying customer in line, she decided to be yippity and ever so pleasant. please explain how you a worker for panda express and us paying customers no matter the circumstances are any different? read more
