Pulled a large hair from my food

Ughh, ordered food on Christmas and was very underwhelmed. My honey walnut shrimp had a nasty hair buried inside the sauce, chow main was flavorless and the beef broccoli was pretty small for almost $20

After getting my hair dyed my significant other wanted to take me out to get some Chinese food. He came across this location one time and wanted to take me here. We were greeted by a waiter and he sat us down to a table. My boyfriend ordered their dinner special and I orders their lunch special. He got chow mein, sweet and sour pork, eggrolls, and fried rice. I got fried rice, kung pao chicken, and cheese wontons. I also ordered a side of their wonton soup and we both got the potstickers. He ordered iced tea and I got a sprite. With 3 refills of iced tea and all of our food together everything came out to $58.79! Everything tasted amazing! I was more of a fan of their wonton soup. Our waiter was very friendly and our time in the restaurant was just as good! Will definitely be returning.

Seafood Hong Kong Chow Mein 17 bucks. Gotta let the noodles soak a bit once you get it. I liked the variety of meats.

This place is pretty dope if you're in the neighborhood. How many Bar/Lounges can you have a beer, cocktail and get some pretty damn good Chinese Food in the same building? Well here you can, also if ya meet someone special we got Cupids Corner right next door too. The bartenders of the 2 I have met are really cool, nice as well. The prices are aight but I like that you can get a Pint or Mug which is bigger. Karaoke seems to be a big thing here, 2 sides of the bar so you can be in the mix or slide to the other side where it's less people

My Pal and I were craving some Chinese Food . She said, let's do Uber Eats! So we ordered up some YUM ! Mu Shu Pork - Very Good :) Nice Sized Pancake w/ a very tasty plum sauce . Combo Chow Mein - Noodles a little large, not enough meat or veg but, really fresh and wonderful flavor General Chicken - Very Good! Crispy Chicken in a perfect balanced sauce . Nice Portion. Potstickers- Tasty but, a little soggy - will forgive - it was delivery, ya know

I got Pearl River Chinese Restaurant for dinner the other night. They packed the chicken chow mein takeout box and it tasted great. The pot stickers were cooked to perfection with a nice crispy side. They had an option for some mini wonton soups that I could not pass up. It came with two wontons. It hit the spot.

Sunday Afternoon went have Lunch. I've not been here for year's. I actually have to say it's better than I've had in the past. I really liked how you're able to have a lunch special unlike most Chinese Restaurants on the weekend. They give a very nice portions as well. I would recommend the cream cheese wontons over the Spring Roll. ( It had a blast of to much black pepper in every bite) Make sure you double check your receipt before paying as I was almost over charged for an extra meal I didn't order. But overall I really enjoyed the food, portions of the food and price.

Weirdest egg roll I have ever seen

Been to this place many times to dine in. Decided on a rainy night to order take out delivery with Yelp delivery. Super easy to navigate and delivery was quick. Ordered the egg rolls and not sure exactly what I received. It was not like any egg roll I have ever had, even in this restaurant. It was like a corn dog meets a chimichanga meets a burrito. It was not in an egg roll wrapper. It was some thick doughy, fried vase holding the insides which tasted like an egg roll filling. It was heavy and very greasy. I am not sure what has happened to their egg rolls or how they can even call it a egg roll The walnut shrimp was plentiful and tasty, with plenty of shrimp and walnuts. The sauce was creamy and tasted on point. I asked for hot sauce in my order and it arrived however, there were no napkins or a fork included in my order. The 2 fortune cookies were fresh and crisp.

Beef sauteed with XO sauce, but I don't think they would put a lot of XO sauce. What's XO sauce?…

I am basing my review off take out since I don't usually eat there* It's nestled in the plaza off Aborn Rd and White so parking shouldn't be an issue. The inside isn't extremely huge, but there are tables - though there are times when the tables are put out. But if you go up Aborn a bit, there's Evergreen Square where you can sit and enjoy the sun! Definitely call ahead of time if you are doing platters, but they also offer 2-3 item combo plates! Every time I have visited, the staff is pretty kind and get your order out to you as soon as possible. OKAY THE FOOD: * Chow Mein: delicious. you CANNOT go wrong with this item, it's perfectly made and gives the authentic "take out chow mein" taste * Salt and Pepper Pork/ Wings/ Calamari/ Shrimp/ etc.: Literally anything that's salt and pepper, I LOVE. My family and I usually get the salt & pepper pork or wings, depending on what we're feeling. 20/10 would recommend. * Honey Walnut Shrimp/ Chicken: Another all time favorite dish here - they somehow get the shrimp/ chicken crispy despite it being in the sauce. LOVE. * Chicken Green Beans: A classic, but also SO DANG GOOD. Please note that if you are getting an entree, expect your plate to be STUFFED. happy eating! x

Not the same Mayflower that I went to growing up but this place did NOT disappoint…read more We were in the mood for dim sum on the way to the T&T grocery store opening and yelp brought us here. We walked in right at opening to a completely empty dining room. Instead of leaving, we browsed the menu and ordered XLB, pot stickers, jelly fish, and pea sprouts (my personal fav) so glad we didn't leave! The XLB are a nice size, with each precious dumpling cradled in its own foil wrapper for maximum soup retention. The potstickers were full of flavor, packed with protein, delicately wrapped, and had the crispiest, golden bottoms! Jelly fish was fresh and the pea sprouts were a hit! The poor owner answering the phones made sure (in all languages) to inform folks calling in that there were a different May Flower than the other place-felt terrible for her but also understood the importance of differentiating right up front. I can only imagine the number of misorders they have probably dealt with. By the time we were done, the dining room was filled with a mix of what seemed like regulars, locals, large groups of families, small groups of friends... this feels like we stumbled upon a tiny hole in the wall restaurant where everyone who has been before just knows the quality and taste they are going to be getting! Highly recommend you check this place out for a dine in or take out order!

This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. And as is typical of these places, there was table at the end where they were prepping the fruits and veggies. It's truly remarkable how they are all similar in these ways! We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
