I LOVE PANDA, just not this location. I've gave it a try so many times & something is always wrong. Today I got a bowl with white rice and had 7 pieces of orange chicken. Yes, there was so few I counted. I also got the 3 pack of cream cheese wontons and ask for sweet and sour twice... got home and still didn't get sweet and sour sauce (My fault for not double checking) I was also asked 3 times if I wanted to donate the change. I said No all three times. I understand it's your job to ask but please don't ask 3 times, once's at the speaker and twice at the window. I still paid my bill and still didn't get change back because they didn't have change. Lesson learned I won't be back at this location. read more

What I like most about this Panda Express is how welcoming and accommodating the staff are. The younger team members always put a smile on your face and make the dining experience genuinely pleasant -- their kindness feels real, not forced. They're the kind of people who brighten your day and truly deserve a raise. The place seems clean and cozy most of the time, which is why I'm a regular. The few minor downsides: 1. I have a past experience with one of the older female hispanic staff members who wasn't as friendly. But aside from that, the rest of the team here is wonderful and really makes this location stand out. 2. I don't recommend doing online orders here. I placed an order on the app and was told to tell the cashier when I arrive that I'm here for mobile order along with the name it's under. Once I check in with them and she took down my name. 20 mins of waiting around for my order, I decided to approach the cashier again and what do you know, it's been just sitting on their shelf this whole time. We have been going to Panda Express all over the country in our travels. We have been to the original Panda Inn in Pasadena, CA which is really delicious Chinese food. This location in San Tan is the absolute best Panda Express we have ever been to. The food is always fresh & hot and the staff are always polite & helpful. The dining room is always clean & well stocked. For the 1 star people there's a good chance you're never happy read more

How are you going to charge $12 for a product and only allow a refund of $3.70 when I did not receive what was ordered? I do not like fried rice at all. It's all over my chicken and if you're out of a product you should update your 3rd party ordering and 86 the item so it can't be ordered and a customer charged and not refunded for an issue that wasn't even their fault to begin with. This was my go to Panda location because they're the most consistent and the manager Fei there is always polite and great customer service. Then I went today. - no cookies - no utensils - half portion - no sauce. So I came right back with my receipt. And the worker named Marina there tried to make it sounded like I ate the food and trying to score a free meal? Tried to say there is sauce on the food (I had used my own extra at home). But when I saw how sloppy the food was, I had to come back. I was just there yesterday and comes once a week! Always a good experience but this worker Marina and her manager on Sunday 8/18/24 is the worst experience. This is why this place gets horrible reviews and unsatisfied customers. I hope I don't ever see this Marina lady and her manager again. But then again, I will not be back to this location. read more

I have not tried online ordering or the drive-through, but I have had no problems with this location, near The Home Depot. The team has always been very friendly and efficient on my visits, and the food is fine, consistent with other Panda locations. The restaurant is good-sized, and very clean. I can say that because of a couple reasons the cleanliness is outstanding and the food is amazing, the cooks at this location always do such an incredible job. The last reason are two of outstanding workers Charlie and KellyAnn, these two had always done the above and beyond for me and my girlfriend. The bowls are my favorite here. Just the right amount of flavor and protein you need to keep you going through the day without being too heavy. The Orange Chicken is the best, but the Chow Mein is awesome as well and the prices are just right. This location is always offering something new and is good about offering samples. Check you food before you leave it, they mess up often and you don't get your food. Called the placed asked for them to deliver the missing food they said they don't have any delivery, then asked ok I'll pick it up but refund me some since I have to drive back out there. Food is always yummy but customer service was not great tonight. Got up to the window and the woman didn't say anything to us.. all good, whatever, so we handed her the card. She gave us the receipt and we then asked for sauce in the bag. She gave us the bag and the sauce. All good. Still not saying anything but it's whatever. And then she finally hands us our drinks and as my boyfriend goes to say "have a good night" she closes the window without saying anything. I don't need people to talk to us but as it is a customer service job.. saying a few phrases goes a long way and looks good on the company.. "good evening, would you like any sauce?" I placed my order in the drive thru on my way home from work and ordered (4) 2 Item meals to take home for family dinner. 3 of the meals had half rice and half chow mein. The entree items were ok and seemed like we got the last of what was left before it was replenished with hot fresh food. All of the chow mein was dry as was the rice The last entree was a double order of teriyaki chicken with white rice. I got grilled chicken and rice. No teriyaki sauce!! Just dry chicken with white rice. To boot, we did not get any soy sauce with our order either. Needless to say that when you spend almost $40 on take out you would at least like to get hot food prepared correctly. When I attempted to call the store to see if they would fix the order (I live about 15 mins away) all I got was an answering machine. Poor customer service all around! read more

The orange chicken smells like it came right out of a chickens ass, and the rice is so bland and gross, they completely forgot to give us or rangoons and the food smells terrible and tastes just as bad as it smells. Ordered mushroom chicken on both orders and was told that it was being cooked. After waiting about 10 minutes we got our order and neither of our orders had the mushroom chicken. The first one we thought was a mistake but when we opened the 2nd box we decided to say something and they blew me off saying they substituted it with what the cook made. I understand if they don't have something but to blindly substitute with something not even close is unacceptable. Have ordered online from this location 2 times. Both times they forgot to add the chicken to our order. Both orders were months apart and they still have staff that cant complete the simplest order. My first impression wasn't a very good one, when I walked in an employee was changing the trash by the door and he seemed to be a little irritated that he had to step back for a sec as I walked through. He didn't greet me or say anything as I said excuse me and walked by. I asked for the 3 entree meal to go. I was only given 2 entrees and when I asked for my other one she ignored me and slid my tray down to the cashier. I told the cashier that I asked for a 3rd entree and she told me it would be close to $3 more. I Told her I didn't want a side I wanted the 3 entree meal which was $1 more than the 2 entree. She finally added the 3 entree for a total cost of $8.70 plus tax for the entire order which I was satisfied with. I got to the car and took in a mouthful of food and my food is cold!! My favorite place in California is a huge restaurant that can seat hundreds, and they do, wit rushes, and they have less employees, but there employees work their asses off. This is ordinary under the heat lamp Americanized Chinese food. Nothing special in food or in-service. In a pinch it will do, but if you want authentic real Chinese food cooked fresh, which is the point of wok food, go to Chandler. Update. I went today. I know what to expect. It's fast food, no wait to cook, but not super fresh like made to order, and China Chef on Gantzel is much more fresh cooked food for the money, but I was too hungry to wait, so I stopped in. The noodles tasted burnt and some were all clumped together. Both appetizers were cold as well. The chicken was basically clumps of fried batter. Such a disappointment to get home and have this.
