We started coming here on a regular basis as the service and food are very good! It's not PF Changs, but it's certainly a great value! Even better if you use their app and take advantage of the discounts they offer. The place is well maintain, very clean and though it's not, all the furnishings look new. We found that ordering the bigger plate is the way to go! A plate comes with a side, and two entrées, however, the bigger plate comes with an additional entrée, for only an additional $1.80. Making it a really good value, especially when you share a meal or if you're looking to take something home for later! When you order the teriyaki chicken, it's just chicken flavored with teriyaki, and you get a really large portion of chicken. I like my food a little spicy and found the black pepper chicken is delicious! My wife really loves their orange chicken, which apparently is their number one seller! In addition to a sods fountain with ice tea, they have four special drinks, which are a slightly higher price, but are very good... I prefer the mango tea! An important note, I've been to a number of other Pands, this one is the best one I've ever eaten at, which is probably one of the reasons we keep coming back, unfortunately they're not all this good! Fresh food continuously throughout the day. Lobby has seating for roughly 50 customers. The Leadership is stronger at this Location with Noah doing a much more effective Job at leading by Example. This location is very busy but having talent at the leadership position creates stability and stabilizes the Long Boat versus before it was more chaos for customers or employees with less quality leadership. As long as Noah is here I firmly believe that this will be one of the best Panda Express Locations in the DFW area. Noah and his staff are Bar none more respectful and friendly than other stores. Parking is not an issue the parking lot is huge and also overflows can park at Lowe's which isn't as good as Home Depot so it's never full anyways. For fast food Chinese food Panda Express puts out a pretty decent product. I am happy to find one in a close proximity for me to get to. My only criticism of this particular location is that it does not have a drive-thru. I came here today for lunch and chose chow mein as my side. My two entrees are the sweet fire chicken breast and the Sesame honey chicken. Those are pretty much my go-to ingredients When I visit a Panda Express. Quite a better alternative than stuffing it's neighbor (McDonald's) down your throat when you are hungry after a day of Southlake shopping & don't want to pay a Del Frisco's-like price. A tender bite of sweetness with bits of pineapple that has a tinge of cayenne pepper kick is how I can sum up the taste. Fast forward 9 years and the world of delivery and pick up sure has changed. My teen carb loads for sports and requests Panda often. Instead of waiting in line, I've started to place the orders online. Bigger plate with three orders of teriyaki chicken with with rice. Every single time I go to pick it up the food isn't ready. And that's even giving an extra 15 minutes beyond the time it's supposed to be ready. I guess the teriyaki is a popular item at dinner time, but maybe the cooks should prepare for this and start cooking it BEFORE they run out completely. That's a 14 minute wait right there. I placed a order for beef broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice and just fried rice on the side. Delivery was great but my order was wrong. No rice to speak of at all. When I called to get the correct order they refused to fix it so I asked for a refund and they said I have to go through Grubhub which is what I did. I always thought the chow mein was supposed to be a kind of hardish noodle & not super flavorful or much sauce, but this location opened my eyes as to what panda express food should ACTUALLY taste like. I would give a zero if I could. The Southlake Panda Express is the worse. The assistant manager and the front server are the rudest and most disrespectful 2 human being I had ever encountered. This was our first time and it would be the last. They laughed at us and gave each other the looks as my son was placing his order. I walked into the restaurant tonight at 9:52 and I knew they closed at 10 (yes tonight I was THAT guy!) I use to work in a restaurant myself and I know how it is, everyone wants to go home as soon as possible but you still take care of the customer. As expected the floor was mopped, the tea had been dumped, the glass was being cleaned and there was one couple eating over at a side table. I wasn't planning on ordering anything that would require a whole batch to be cooked. I wanted two things: teriyaki chicken for my son and whatever else they might have that was at least edible looking for myself. There was no teriyaki chicken visible so I asked about it and was told they didn't have any. I pleasantly requested for a small amount to be cooked for my son to which they told me they had already cleaned the grill and would be unable to cook any teriyaki chicken. At that point I became less than pleasant! I understand doing all you can to prepare to close but to actually be in a position of refusing to prepare food prior to closing is something I find to be inexcusable. In the past my two sons and I have eaten in this restaurant at least once a week, mostly the food was enjoyable, however, at this point I have no interest in myself or either of my fourteen-year-old sons or their friends ever returning to this restaurant under the current state and conditions. I got there at 11:49 and people were lined up. I just let them know I'm here for online pick up so that they don't forget my order, but the lady didn't like that idea. she states "but it says 11:55!" Food was good as you would expect from panda but the portions where severely lacking... Usually a plate is enough for 2 meals but this location barely served enough for one. Also they like to skip on the meat and serve a lot more vegetables, which usually wouldn't bother me except that the mushroom chicken literally had one lonely piece of chicken in it. Food is what you'd expect but the SERVICE today was terrible. There were about 7 ppl waiting in line because they failed to realize early enough that they were running out of chow-mein. She scanned my card and it wouldn't read on their machine (reads everywhere else) she refused to type the credit card number into the machine and I had to return the food to her.
