Zero stars. Waited a long time in the Saint Augustine drive through last night, 5/26. When we finally made it to where we could place our order, whoever was working the drive through at 7:40 pm was extremely rude. He continually interrupted us as we were trying to place our order for our family and became very sarcastic. We felt very uneasy with how we were being treated and told him to cancel our order and we left. As we were driving by he waved at us. We are locals here in Saint Augustine, but will never return and will definitely let others know of our experience. read more

Once again, a complete failure on so many levels. Ordered and drove up to the window, lots of running around behind the window..... again. Seems they were changing shifts and my order "disappeared". Asked what I had and I gave them a couple of items, assuming they were looking for the order. Lots of frantic running around behind the window. Opened the window and told me the total which was wrong so I told them completely what I had ordered. I had no idea they were starting a new order. Supposedly had to ring out the order before adding anything. They gave me a Coke for the cluster but charged me additionally for two eggrolls. There is a really long time passing with a drive through full and around the building. Got home (5 minutes away) and, even though I asked for it, again, no teriyaki sauce on teryaki chicken. How does that happen? It does not happen inside. It was also cold and old and dried out. 3 little pieces Honey Sesame chicken and two green beans (I ordered a plate). Seriously, how do you stay in business? Mass confusion, losing orders, lack of and dried out food. There should be a management change. read more

This Panda Express is truly unparalleled in terms of customer service, and genuinely one of the best experiences in St. Augustine even in these hard times. The food is always phenomenal but the interactions with staff are the highlight of the place. Will come again... as always read more

While the food is good this location has management problems. While they are open until 10p, you are limited as to selection because they shut down the grills an hour prior to closing. When you question this policy, no explanation is offered. Just an "Oh well" attitude from both counter help as well as management. Other locations do not close the grill early, not sure why this location does. read more

Great healthy choices for fast food! Fresh veggies and grilled chicken! Pretty low cal low fat and no msg! The orange chicken is like crack! So good and hard to make that healthy choice when it's calling my name! Super cool staff! I eat at PE about twice a week for lunch. I love the high quality of the food, and although sometimes it take a minute to get your food while waiting in line, it's only ever because they are constantly cooking fresh batches of everything. Have never had an experience where anything I was served was dried out like I've experienced at buffet style restaurants. Love the attitudes of the staff... Hearing "Welcome to Panda!" yelled out as I walk through the door always makes me feel welcome, and at least three of the employees have asked my name as they see me in there regularly. Priced competitively to the takeout but IMHO better. The 3 dishes that are a must to try are Honey Walnut Shrimp which is called Coconut Shrimp at some Chinese restaurant if offered. The Angus Steak is tender and delectable. Their staple, Orange Chicken is definitely better than 90% of takeout places and is a go to dish. Definitely try the Beijing Beef, it's decent with a little kick. Service has thus far been friendly and great for fast food dine in. Decor inside is fresh and relaxing for a fast food place. Just average at best. I don't care for having to guess what to order being a new customer. The whole concept is weird and indifferent to Americanize Chinese food. Maybe some people get it? I prefer food preped fresh off the grill or made to order. To me this is yet another mediocre experiment that can be easily forgotten. I enjoyed the healthy selections. However, the sodium in all the food is extremely high. If you are watching your sodium intake I would not suggest you visit this restaurant. On a good note the fortune cookies are good there . read more

I love Panda Express, so this location was an especially big disappointment. Full disclosure, we were getting food late, but it was almost an hour before closing. I said I wanted double chicken mushroom, but there didn't seem to be enough. The woman serving me agreed, but the manager(?) said "sure there is" and poured mostly sauce (pretty much no chicken) onto the plate and called it a double. I would have refused to take it, but I had been waiting over 15 minutes to order by then, so took it and regretted it. Almost every table in the place was still dirty despite not having a single customer eating there at the time. read more

We visit this Panda Express on a regular basis, at least once every two weeks or so. It is our go-to take out for delicious, good quality and fresh food, and we always experience excellent customer service. The staff is very friendly, very prompt in greeting us and in serving us. The restaurant is also very clean. Our visit is a pleasant experience every time! My only suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of entrees. read more

I wanted 9 Crispy Fried Shrimp and 2 Spring Rolls. They would not let me order them without an Entree unless I paid an extra dollar for each selection because both are considered appetizers. That added $5.00 to what the menu had listed. Nothing on the menu made any reference to extra charges or restrictions in ordering these items. Always good, always consistent. This place has put a few businesses out of business. The drinks are overpriced at $2. So I always do the drive through. The vietnamese restaurant on 312 and A1A is good and heathier. There is also a Asian place in the Winn Dixie plaza on the island that is very good. read more

My best friend and I are avid Panda Express lovers and visit basically every week. It's one of our favorite things to do together and we have been to so many locations all across the state. When we were visiting Saint Augustine we were super hyped to see that there is a panda very close by and we happily jaunted in to the seemingly friendly establishment. However, much to our dismay, this was my worst panda experience ever. My honey chicken wasn't even coated in the sauce; it was just fried chicken with sauce under it. All of our food had clearly been waiting there for quite some time. Even if it had been crispy when fresh, it definitely was nothing near crispy at the time of our meal. Additionally, I specified that I had a coupon, yet the cashier could not figure out how to use it. Lastly, the portion sizes were real skimpy. In conclusion, soggy food that was a little bit old, pathetic portion sizes, and untrained staff are the hallmarks of this panda express location. The brand as a whole is amazing, this location extremely subpar, disappointing, and left me with great sorrow for the mourning of the company that has affected me so deeply, but its reputation has now been tarnished. read more
