Came home with this... I ordered the two item entree (Honey walnut shrimp and Orange chicken) and for my side asked for half fried rice and vegetables. I told her what I wanted and she then proceeded to ask what I wanted for my other side.... I didn't know I got another side so I said chow-mein. Got home and opened my plate which was cold btw... and then had no veggies, and no fried rice and got a side of chow-mein in a separate container which I didn't really want. I called to ask about it and she confirmed she heard what I wanted but didn't apologize for "her" confusion and said she thought I just wanted the chow mein on the side.... I never said I wanted an extra side she asked me if I did. She said she would give me my two sides when I came back for my next meal... but sitting here without the sides I wanted and the cold food... is pretty disappointing. We will NEVER go to this Panda Express again. We have given it three attempts. The last time we were told to pull around to the front to wait in one of the drive thru parking spaces as our order was going to take a few minutes longer. We had already been in the drive-thru line 15-20'mins. There were no parking spaces so we had to find one somewhere else in lot. I had to watch the door for the employee to come out. After 25 mins I went inside and was told that my order was never done. The manager offered no apology but instead acted like it was no big deal. He said, "oh hang on, let me get that for you" I went back to car and we were missing one of our items. I went back inside to be greeted by same manager who once again acted as if I was the one I making an issue. He once again said "oh your just missing the beef, Let me get that" No words of apology or anything . The whole ordeal was 45 mins long! They DO NOT have their act together there at all. It's staffing chaos and they mess up the orders and your wait is forever. read more

I brought my grandson here (his request) for lunch, AT LUNCH TIME. They had no rice, no noodles and no shrimp. Also no lids. Really? Doesn't anyone know how to plan ahead? Gave us the wrong order in the drive through. When we called to get it fixed they asked us to bring the receipt, which I did. They took the and kept receipt, and gave me the "correct" order. We got home and one of the items was wrong. At this point it had been an hour since we first ordered and we wanted to eat, so we called them and asked if they could please refund the wrong plate since we were just going to eat. They said they couldn't refund it, but they'd write down my name and I could have a free large item on them next time I came in. When I came in today for my free item they had no name written down, and were very rude about me asking. The supervisor kept interrupting me to tell me without my receipt (which they kept), they couldn't help me. When I finally asked her to stop interrupting me and listen to what I was saying, she told me I needed to calm down. At that point I said I wasn't interested in the item any longer and I asked for her managers info, which she refused to give me, just saying, "I don't know when he'll be in. You can try calling." so I decided to leave. As I was leaving, the cook in the back threatened me and said I was lucky he wasn't working the front. When I asked for his name she told me if I didn't leave she'd call the cops, and that I wasn't allowed there anymore. No joke. I never cursed or raised my voice one time. This place is bonkers. I was so excited to have a panda in this area but I'm bummed the way this one turned out. The staff is so rude. I went through the drive thru and ordered a few entrees and one was teriyaki chicken with sauce on top and a side of it.. when I get home not only was there no side of sauce but NONE on top. So I call just to say hey.. this sucks.. and right when I say what happened she hangs up on me! I wasn't even being rude. Whoever the manager/supervisor that works there is very rude. I was told I should the menu before ordering after I brought my order in because I ordered chicken rice and broccoli. When I got home my wife noticed no broccoli so I brought it back to correct the order and was talked to by the rude lead/supervisor/manager whom ever she was. So, I love Panda Express. I always order the same thing. Super greens with string bean chicken and peppered chicken. My husband and I took my son to this location because it's what he wanted for his birthday. They got their order while I had to wait for mine because they were out of super greens and sting bean chicken. They said 5-6 minutes. I ended up getting the first part of my meal within that time. They said they would bring out the string bean chicken. We waiting 25 minutes (we were all done eating and ready to leave) only to find out they forgot. After my husband asked they treated him as though he were annoying them and did not even apologize. The food was good and fresh but the staff and their attitudes were appalling. Idk what's up with all the hate here I got excellent service when we went last and meant to review this location weeks ago because of the great service. We were waiting for them to make more fried rice because half fried rice and chow mein is the way to go hands down but anyways they gave us a complimentary small drink while we were waiting and continued to check on us to make sure we were doing ok. We usually just go through the drive thru but I'm glad we stopped and went inside that day. Really friendly staff. Which is saying something in this town. What a disappointment. I went there on Halloween night and there were only 2 cars in the drive thru and literally 4 people inside and they still managed to screw me out of a meal. I ordered a large orange chicken (9.20) and did they put it in the bag...nope. Yes, my fault for not looking before I drove away. Also, the food was subpar at best. The chow mein is nothing but grease. Along with the spring rolls. Bite into it and it poured out grease. Think I'll stick to the one in Marysville. read more

Went here several times after it opened and was very dissatisfied and wrote a scathing review. Decided to give it another chance recently. Have been back three times since and have been impressively surprised. Service is good, people are friendly and polite and the food quality and portion sizes are much improved. After about 4 other cars were parked. We waited 20 - 25 minutes for our food while about 10 people who ordered after us got served there food. Around this time we went in. After walking in at the service station there was the large bowl half way filled with orange chicken and no attempts to complete our order. So we asked for a refund the manager was rude to be honest. The location and parking are not ideal and super difficult to get into. Portions size was small, the orange chicken was way to spicy and super dry, the chow main noodles were slightly burned. Made my first online order with panda in yuba city, when I pulled in to the parking lot I had about. 15 min wait. I watched cars pull into the drive through after I've been there for 5 mins already, make it all the way through and leave before my food was ready. In total the drive through processed about 6 cars that showed up after I did before I got my food. It's not like I had a huge order, I had 1 plate. The food is always pretty good here. Sometimes the portions are small and sometimes they're big. Wait times in the evenings are long in the drive through. They give you a flag to wait in the designated parking for drive through... even thought there is only 3 spots. It's not difficult to find out who's waiting for their order. Both of us got Kung Pao Chicken for our 3rd item, employee placed them in red boxes UPSIDE down in the bag, for them to pretty much leak all over. I've waited until I've visited this Panda Express location a few times before writing a review. I expect some time needed for things to settle when a business first opens. I was so excited to have a Panda Express in Yuba City so that I wouldn't have to drive into Marysville and try to beat the rush. Well, I've given it time and I'm disappointed. Each time there has been something wrong...a full order of rice instead of half greens and rice, no sauce for the teriyaki chicken, much smaller portions on the sides than I get at other Panda's, and an attitude from employees when trying to place an order. I've decided that the drive over the bridge to Marysville and trying to beat the rush is a small price to pay. read more
