It was our first time there so we were not aware of the all you can eat or if you take something home, we have several kids who usually have healthy appetite today on the other hand they did not so we had asked for a couple boxes they were going to charge us, which was fine but when I asked how much they were gonna charge, she said she didn't know which was slightly concerning. Yuba City has a pretty good Mongolian BBQ, this is also their only one so they are lucky the owners and staff here supply great service and plenty of options at the line. Came here on a Saturday with a party of about 8. We were greeted with smiles and our big-ish party was accommodated with a table. They served rice and sesame rolls to the table while we got in line to make our bowls. The options here are vast making the plastic gloves are necessary. I piled my bowl high and ended with some jalapeños, pineapples and chilli oil. One thing stood out to me here; the noodles! They're really thick. Thicker than what I'm used to at my regular Mongolian BBQ (Hing's) in West Sacramento. I enjoyed the company of my party, ate two big bowls. The food was so good! Service here was great my entire time and the price was reasonable as well. Glad I finally tried this Mongolian BBQ Yuba City has to offer. Friendly service, very clean environment, and great food. My husband and I came here for our 10 year anniversary. It was really nice not too busy or loud. Simple cute place to eat out as a family or just on date night with my husband. We were seated got our drinks, and were served with little bowl of egg drop soup, fried rice, plate of dessert (2), and a plate of wonton chips to share. Then we got all our ingredients for our noodles and it was smooth sailing from there. Workers very attentive kept my water filled, and if there were any dishes they were quick to remove it off the table. Enjoyed it so much did not take pictures (next time). No mushrooms, no pineapple and you have to ask for the peanuts that they are hiding under the cooking counter. The lady seemed annoyed that I asked for the peanuts. We wont be back. Pretty decent place. Fresh ingredients. Line was long full of to go orders. Which they pile up their bowls and wait just like those that are going to sit and eat. I recommend they make two lines and have a cook just for them so those who are eating their with children can sit and eat. Place was clean but not sure I would go back. The owner is TOTALLY RUDE so for that reason, I will NEVER eat here EVER AGAIN! I only made ONE trip through for dinner one evening. Noticed that people were getting boxes for their leftovers so I decided to ask for a box as well. Lady upfront had a attitude then she brought me my bag after the food was done. It was a takeout order and she was holding my bag to the side so all of the Mongolian got all my eggroll which was soggy. I've been there many times, the food is really really good! However, this Asian lady (Manager/Owner) with a bob cut, gives very bad energy. Her service is simply garbage. She has no problem treating other customers (mostly white) with big ol smile and being all chit chatty, but when it comes to me and my girl, her face drops, as in we owe her or something. The other staff in there is very welcoming and nice except for her. Not sure what her problem is, but she needs an attitude adjustment. I haven't had Mongolian BBQ since I was overseas in the Navy. You get your bowl, put everything in it you want: meats, veggies, sauces. It's neat to watch the guys cook your food on the ginormous skillet. Wish we had one in my area!!! One of the ladies who worked there is actually from the Bay Area and we were talking about that there used to be one in the area. You also get soup, rice, and wonton pieces. Delicious! It's great to have a Mongolian BBQ in the Marysville/Yuba City area. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is nice too. Smaller place with a more cozy, family feel. Prices are good too. You get a nice, big bowl to add meat and veggies to and a variety of sauces to add at the end. Upon entering this establishment I was immediately met with quick and kind service from a server named Eric Vang. After seating me he the. helped me pick out my bowl so I wouldn't get confused from the broad arrangement of meat, vegetables, and sauces. My food was skillfully cooked to perfection, if I was the manager I would immediately give Eric Vang a raise for all of the amazing work he puts into his job. I showed up at 6:35 pm on a Saturday and they were still in there working with about half the tables full - but they had locked the door and hung the closed sign -and did not let us in (we tried). Its the inconsistency that concerns me - They do not have a phone number listed that works... so you have to literally drive over expecting their amazing food - only to be utterly disappointed about 30% of the time (in my experience). They have a variety of meats, noodles, veggies (mushrooms, broccoli, celery, carrots, onions) and sauces. Very disappointed they charged us an additional $2.00 a plate for a leftovers if we want to take our food home. I will never go back to this restaurant. Next time I want Mongolian barbecue I would go to Chico to hula fabulous the people are fabulous. The food is fabulous always very polite so if you want a good Mongolian barbecue go to Hulu and Chico and they don't charge you additional two dollars for what you don't eat to take home. read more

This is the place to go when you need a quick bowl and a full meal, to be honest our whole family comes here. It's always clean and the service is always quick. The prices for the Togo are a little over priced, but overall the place is great and it's the one if the best bbq around in the area. No doubt Update August 2019 We stopped by for a quick bowl to eat and we were very disappointed. I found a pice of metal in my bowl and when I told the server she acted like she didn't even care. We couldn't even finish our bowls in peace due to the thought of us choking on something, we ended up leaving after paying full price.(and got charged to go price). I understand sometimes stuff gets in to food. But it's been twice where I found something while eating a bowl and nobody seems to care? It's a very big inconvenience. Best Mongolian bbq i've ever tried, & I've tried quite a few over the years. i've been coming to the restaurant for over 15 years & followed them to this new location No one has beat it. Thus far the staff is very friendly & helpful. The trick is to get there 10 minutes before opening or it is like a surge! of elbow to elbow people which is not the best for people with anxiety like myself, but the food is that good that it's worth some chaos, my only issue really is during the lunch & dinner rush. It gets extremely busy in there & some people are very messy therefore the buffet should be monitored more so at this time as they run out of items and ingredients, get mixed together from careless patrons, I honestly think that they should expand because they are highly sought after & they offer something very unique read more

I'm pretty impressed with this place. The food was amazing and definitely up to par with my favorite Mongolian bbq in Roseville. They had the same array of meats that you come to expect but this place had lamb as well. The thick noodles were amazing!! My boyfriend got the thin and they were good as well. And if you've never been. This place is all you can eat but I still stuff my bowl so I don't have to come back in line. So you pick your meats and then noddles. Then you add whatever veggies and sauce you like. I really like adding a lot of sauce because most of it gets cooked down in the circle grill they got. No idea what it's called. They do charge extra to take it home but worth it. You know It's just going to garbage anyways but w/e. The only thing that I didn't like was they kept looking at us eat.
