We ordered take out for dinner, our favorite Chinese spot closed so we are trying something new. Overall the food was good, plenty of flavor and was ready in 20 minutes. We finished everything and really enjoyed it. The pickup was easy and the staff wad friendly. I would recommend the General Tso and the Rainbow Shrimp, both were my favorite. read more

I've tried their sesame chicken. Pretty good. But today I decided to try something new. Their beef lo mein. Honestly it was very bland, no seasonings whatsoever. I couldn't really eat it, I added some of the sauce from the sesame chicken to make it palatable. Disappointed. read more

Favorite Chinese in the city. We always get Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Their orange chicken is white meat and a whole piece you can cut up. The Mongolian beef the onions are cooked waaaaay down and are less prominent than other versions of the dish. Theirs is also more savory than sweet and the steak is super super tender. read more

We ordered to go and the food was just as delicious as I remembered from a year ago. Chicken fried rice: big chunks of white meat chicken, scrambled egg, and rice. It is missing some veg (pea and carrot etc) which draws fire from other reviews and while I personally would have liked those things, it still tasted great. That's what made the $15 for the portion size palatable as i would not describe it as generous, it was packed tightly and we were able to split it fine. Pan fried pork dumplings: yum yum yum Crab puffs: lots of cream cheese and fried deeper golden wrapper than i usually prefer but were not greasy and very delicious. Vegetables spring roll: yum yum yum Chicken spring roll: he said it was good The inside is spotless even in the corners and the woman helping was kind and friendly. I don't care for the screen flip with tip choices but I went ahead and added $5 to support small business. For our order it was 40 and 45 with tip but honestly the quality of the food is justified for us. read more

Small portions & overpriced. Ordered takeout Friday night. The online menu stated the happy family came with "6" shrimp, well that's false as there were only 3 in my order. Their dine-in pictures seem to have much bigger portions, the to-go food container is super shallow. The picture is deceiving as it's probably only an inch deep. The quality of the food wasn't the best & the "egg roll" the entree came with was gross. Their "passion fruit" tea doesn't taste anything like passion tea, it was basically watered down green tea with ice for $5.15. Utterly disappointed all the way around. read more

Great lunch today- Panda Garden is NOT like Panda Express- don't get them confused - parking in strip center between Boudreaux's and a Subway. Next to Houston Comm. College on feeder road. Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken- $12.00, spicy and good- a lot of meat had to ask for more steamed rice (free!) to balance the quantity of chicken. A bit on the salty side tho. Veggie egg rolls were on point- skinny type with garlic seasoning made it different from others I have tried. Will be returning for more quick meals! read more

We were staying in Houston at the Staybridge in the Galleria. We had 5 people and ordered 3 combos and a large order of cheese puffs and lots of food was left. The orange beef was so yummy. Also loved the chicken teriyaki and the combo fried rice. It was some of the best Chinese food I have had in quite some time. The delivery estimate was 1 hour, but our food arrived in about 20 minutes. If I lived in the area, this would become my go-to delivery. The food arrived hot, and we really top quality. NO SAUSE, NO SEASONING, NO COLOR! I have never been more disappointed in my entire life!!!!!! And to make it all even "better" I was denied a refund of my money. Second time I was asked to pull up front while they cooked food. Learning from 1st experience, waiting 20 minutes I said no thank you. They gave me on big piece of the beef and tiny other pieces with Beef Broccoli Bowl. Sad, that they did that cuz they were mad. They ripped me off. They are not worth the trouble. You guys this restaurant doesn't get enough credit! I know they moved from the old location so maybe that's why it only had 13 reviews. The fried rice is the BOMB!! I've tried all kinds of fried rice and this one is the BEST! I get the chicken medium spicy bc I love spicy food. PLEASE ORDER THE FRIED RICE! The other items on the menu are just as good. I wanted to try a new place for comfort Chinese food... and I think this is it!!! The menu has enough variety to suit all tastes and cravings; and there is a section in the menu for special instructions or requests. I ordered several dishes outside my usual "comfort zone"... and very glad I did!!! I had to take a picture on a cutting mat because I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Wow!!! For the price, this was more than enough food for tonight's dinner and definitely lunch leftovers for tomorrow. I've never ordered for pickup anywhere, but the process was very easy. I was running a bit late, but the shop keep was kind enough to call me and remind me in case I forgot. Such a kind gesture! I ordered the crispy tofu in sesame sauce, seaweed salad, Panda fried rice, and spicy dumplings. See picture and caption for food images and menu names. The tofu pieces were a great size and the sesame sauce is not too sweet or spicy; just right! The seaweed salad is an acquired taste, but reminds me of picnics by the ocean; dash of nostalgia. The dumplings were marinated to perfection: very flavorful. The crown jewel was the fried rice! It has generous amounts of the three proteins: beef, chicken and shrimp. No digging in the bowl: enough meat for each serving! I am very pleased with this overall experience and the food is delicious! HIDDEN GEM! Recently moved to this area of town and I drive past this place all the time. Finally decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. As a vegetarian i love that they have a good variety of things in their menu that i am able to get. And by far everything i've gotten has been delicious! The portions are good and i think the price is reasonable.I don't mind that they're not really a dine in restaurant, but they have advertised a dining area in early 2020 which should be a wonderful addition to a great restaurant. We found this place by accident on our way out of 1/2 Boxes. What a treat! This little gem is brand new. The food was good and the service was friendly. The setting is simple, we enjoyed eating there but plenty of people picked up to go orders. I would think this neighborhood treasure will be much busier as the word spreads. I like this place everything was really good. The crab puffs were cheesy and crunchy, the Mongolians beef was amazing I loved the sauce. The dumplings were a little soggy when it was delivered but they were good. The shrimp fried rice was flavorful the shrimp was seasoned good now the only complaint I have is as you can see on the pic I only had 3 shrimps and the for the price the shrimp and container size was not enough. Their website was somehow listed under a restaurant in Iowa also named "Panda Express". So we realized it was a different address after we placed our order. We tried to cancel our order by calling, a waitress with the shittiest attitude picked up and told us they will not return our money and "you should read". The restaurant is located off 59 feeder and parking can be challenging at times. The restaurant is clean and usually quite busy. The staff is nice and straightforward. The dishes that you must get are the Sichuan style Biang noodle or the regular Biang noodle. The noodles are freshly made and super long and thick. The sauce is so delicious and pairs so well with the perfectly chewy noodles. The amazing fish is also a must order dish. They use flounder that nicely seasoned and coated with a perfect coating that is crispy and so addictingly delectable. Somehow it is so light and crispy and doesn't feel greasy. My diagnosis: come here for scrumptious amazing fish and Biang Biang noodles!

Parking was none had to drive around the block and saw some movement and bam, someone was leaving. We ordered at the bar, staff was super nice and opted to sit outside. Did not realize they deliver to the table. Order: Mongolian beef combo with fried rice and egg roll $14.99 The food comes in takeaway style containers. Win. Mongolian beef (2.5/5) - slightly over sauced for me; beef was pretty tender and there were carrots and edamame which is not the standard so maybe that's what makes it fusion? Fried rice (3/5) - standard style fried with small pieces of bean sprouts which I love so that was a nice surprise Egg roll (3/5) - I assume it was chicken because I didn't realize there was a choice) - it was crunchy and soft on the inside which I like, and pairs well with sriracha (did not eat till I got home) They seem to do a whole lot of take away. The staff were nice and hard working. I was excited when they first opened bc they had chow fun on the menu and being HK Cantonese, I love that dish but when I ordered it the 1st and 2nd time eight years ago instead of bean sprouts they had cabbage and that alters rhe flavor tremendously. I see why it's popular among the people but just don't think it is for my taste.

The vibes were so reminiscent of Fairview. Food was really good, yummy! Pretty large portions and large shrimp in both dishes we got. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly Sichuan. Parking lot is tinnnnnny but we luckily snagged a spot as someone was walking out. Inside is small, maybe less than 15 tables (idk, I'm really bad at gauging). Staff is workin' working, between just the two of them they did great- they were very busy. Pleasantly surprised and refreshed my memory. I feel like I had put CG off my radar since then discovering some other fave Sichuan places. This will be going back on my list, and v close to home

She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
