We stopped in to Panda Inn for dinner tonight, and couldn't have been happier. It has been a long time since we have enjoyed a full-service Chinese meal. We started with the Mu Shu Pork, artfully prepared tableside. Watching our server fill and fold our Mu Shu table-side was a treat. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chicken Lo Mein, Braised Green Beans, Orange Chicken, and Sweet & Sour Pork. Everything was superb. The service from Adelaide was attentive without being overbearing. When we were done, our abundant leftovers were carefully packed away for us to enjoy later. This was a wonderful little indulgence. Portions are generous, taste is good but the garlic noodles were overly mixed with garlic paste (& powder?), it was not possible to eat, as it was overly strong. Overall combination of dishes are good for sharing with family and friends situations. Our small family of 3 w/ 3-4 dishes ordered was $90+. Panda inn is a great restaurant for large groups. I called about 2 weeks ahead for a party of 17 and they easily accommodated us in a Saturday night for my boyfriend birthday. We were sat upon arrival even though the whole party had not arrived and they were understanding that some of the group was running late. We ordered family style portions of orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and green beans and fried rice. We also got the garlic spinach & chow fun (regular size) & panda beef. The portions were enormous. We had plenty to go around and leftovers too! My favorite were the orange chicken- same as the express version, honey walnut shrimp- way better than the express version! & green beans- crispy and flavorful- truly perfection. My least favorite was the crispy beef - too sweet for my taste, Service was solid but not exception- quick to take our order, quick to deliver the food but not super friendly. The person who made the reservation was way more friendly! They did give us chocolate covered fortune cookies at the end but did not doing anything extra for the birthday celebration. Tonight my boyfriend Zach and I had our first experience at Panda Inn. It was exceptional. Dejah our server was so kind and had great knowledge of the menu! Not only was the food amazing but the complimentary white chocolate fortune cookie was delicious! The manger also visited our table to make sure we were alright. This whole night made our day! This wonderful restaurant is amazing. It has incredible Chinese-American dish options. So fresh. So tasty. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. We started with minced lettuce cups and we were so thrilled with the flavor. Then we order Phoenix Chicken and it was crispy well flavored. Panda Beef is delicious. My favorite is the Honey Walnut Shrimp and it is the best I have ever had. They have two portion size options, so keep that in mind. We had delicious leftovers for the next day. FOOD [3.9/5] We got a family package that came with 6 dishes. The food came out pretty quick and hot. My favorite dish was the broccoli beef and honey walnut shrimp. I would say the food was good for American Chinese food. SERVICE [1/5] Our servers were nice and friendly and provided waters quickly. However, my friend reserved 6 round tables for her engagement party a few weeks ago since she ordered 6 family meals for 55+ people. She was told we should get the back area in the middle and side tables. However when we got there yesterday, they sat a family at one of the large round tables so we only had 5 tables. There was also other parties sitting on the side booths, in which we were told those would be reserved for the occasion. The hostess suggested we wait for the family to finish dinner then our party could all sit. That is ridiculous especially since the reservations were made weeks in advance and making 55+ people wait for a table they accidentally gave away. We had seevweal kids and families driving from far away for this event. So we ended up taking the 5 round tables and had long side table. The table that was accidentally given away ended up finishing dinner the same time we finished our event. EXPERIENCE [2/5] The way the situation was handled initially was stressful. This event was planned weeks in advance so it was disappointing to find out that the table we reserved was given away.
