Being an Asian and living in Chinatown of Los Angeles my whole life. Whenever I'm on my way to San Diego, I definitely need to take a stop at Panda Palace. I'm happy enough if I get to hit the lunch special which could probably feed 2 people for $6! But seriously, this is great chinese food for a great price! The portions... The portions are so HUGE. We got take out last night.....trying to support local businesses during this Corona virus. We have eaten here quite frequently. I don't like it at all, but my family does. About 10 min after eating the Kung Po Shrimp, I got violently ill. Back and stomach spasms. It felt like there was a war going on. The shrimp tasted funny and I was the only one that ate it. Food poisoning. I have never been so sick. It was the worst. I will never eat here again. My family was ok with the teriyaki chicken though. I can't even think about eating here again. First time coming to this establishment, and the place was empty. The female employee that helped me wasn't very friendly. I got a two item entree - half and half with barbecue pork and broccoli beef with egg rolls. Egg rolls were great and so was the broccoli beef. We've been coming here for years. The employees are really friendly so I hate to leave a negative review. But, I don't think we'll be coming back for a while. Really disappointed. Don't know if they changed cooks or what. But, the last 2 times the food has been too salty, tastes dry and reheated. The sweet and sour chicken is just not edible. Hope they improve soon! read more

It was nice place to go to. I've only been there once. I wouldn't say I won't go there again. But I haven't been there for months. Typical Chinese scoop food. Nothing special. I like how friendly the workers are. If I feel like Chinese food, I wouldn't mind going there again. So don't be surprise if it doesn't taste "out of this world" Chinese food. I fell neutral about this place. I give it 4 stars. Why not 3 stars? It's cause it's like a slap in the face. They are good but 4 stars is more eye appealing to the reader. In my opinion anyways. To me, Panda Palace knows how to run a business by being very friendly, fast, and giving you your money's worth by serving big portions. They also don't trip if you want extra sauce. These things are what will keep me going back. This is a great place for takeout. I wouldn't say the ambiance is that great to stay and eat there. Mixed review just ok. Typical small American style Chinese place. Plus side for a little over 7 bucks is a lunch special that includes drink. Plus large portions. I got 1/2 fried rice & soft noodles and bbq pork & teriyaki chicken. The fried rice was OK not good not bad the noodles were about the same nothing special, chicken was I decent and the barbecue pork was really really good the rest of the entrées in the serving line did not look that good look like it was sitting around for a while. So I would not make a special trip to come back here although if I was in the area and wanted some good barbecue pork I would probably stop by. The ladies behind the counter were nice. We have been eating here for years. They have the absolute best pork fried rice and Wor Wonton soup. As a matter of fact, their soup is our family's go-to when anyone is under the weather; pretty sure it can cure any illness. Make sure to order ahead...so good! read more

This place is amazing! The staff are very friendly and the food is pretty good. The portion sizes are huge for the price your paying for. As far as Im concerned the food is sometimes pretty dry (especially the noodle dishes) but even then its still very edible. Totally coming again read more

Panda Express look alike but they give larger portions and cook to order as well. Everything we ate was hot and fresh. I had to doctor up the hot and sour soup with a bit of pepper and soy sauce but it was great. This is one of our two go-to Chinese spots. They have decent food especially when it's fresh. We typically go right when they open. We are fans of their BBQ pork and teriyaki chicken. The BBQ pork isn't available until 11am, even though they open at 10:30, just so you're aware. Their rangoons are pretty tasty too. The service is darling. They are always friendly and pack those to-go white styrafoam trays to bursting. In fact, the hubby and I started sharing a two-item combo just because it's so much food! read more

I've been coming here since '06 because I used to work near by, but this was my first time back in about a year. While the large portions remained the same, the quality of the food seems to ha e gone down quite a bit. Also, I'm not sure if they went through a management change because I didn't see any familiar faces working there and they took down their neon sign that advertised No MSG. Now onto the food. I had a two item combo and my entrees were the teriyaki chicken and the hot wings. Both the chicken and the wings seemed like they had been out for a bit since they were both pretty dry. Man, I was really craving good hot and sour soup and I was hoping this would be the place but sadly it wasn't. The soup had some weird metal/iron/blood after taste. Not spicy, or sour. I am a mom from the Vista Murrieta Marching band and the meal tonight was provided by Panda Palace. All the kids LOVED the food, many asking for seconds and thirds (more than I have ever seen ask for seconds and I have never seen them ask for thirds!). The orange chicken was amazing. Whenever I head to Temecula, this is a must stop joint. The second you walk in smells of deliciousness. The workers there who tend to give you more than your tray can fit which is awesome for take home. The food is freshly prepared and cook right in front of you. One word... AMAZING!!! I have been coming here since 2003 when I moved to the neighborhood. The service is always great. Cashiers and owners are friendly and go out of their way to keep deliver fast and friendly service. The dining area is always clean. I like the fact that they have a tv as well. Now for the FOOD. My sister and her family swear by this place and although I've eaten some of their food at their house during family shin digs, the time I went to go grab some food there for myself I had a less than favorable experience. Made me sick to my stomach and the "chicken" scared me. The consistency and the flavor of it was just nasty. We will continue our hunt for our go to Chinese restaurant in the area. I ordered from grub hub, this was the worst experience ever. The food I ordered wrong, I ordered steamed rice they gave me friend rice, I ordered kung Poe chicken without peanuts, came with peanuts, had sweet and sour chicken and it was hard as a rock, I couldn't even eat the food. Then it took so long for them to get it to me. The food tasted like it wasn't fresh, it was cold. Then grub hub was an even worse experience charging me more then what I agreed to pay for my purchase, then had to talk to multiple people to get a refund, then checked my card and the card purchase was for more then what the amount of the food was. I love this place for what it is...fast food Chinese. They have great prices and HUGE portions. Some of their food is a bit greasy, but I find that's typical of Chinese food places like this. The staff is always incredibly friendly and they are always willing to make something fresh for you. We have tried their BBQ pork lo mein, chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, mushroom chicken, eggplant tofu and its all been delicious. They recently got boba too! read more

Everything is always fresh, favorable, and cooked to order if not available on the steam table. I know fresh and steam table don't seem to coalesce, but relative to other local family spots, and worst of all corporatey, measuring-cup-portioned Panda Express, Panda Palace is fresh and delicious. I love this place. It's my favorite chinese restaurant in Murrieta. The portions they give are really big. My favorite is the BBQ Pork, Nom Nom Nom. Their chowmein and fried rice are good too. Prices are decent, but I suggest for you not to visit on weekdays around 3-4 when the middle school across the street dismisses their kids.
