This cute posh bakery in the juniper park area is quite pleasant I might say. Starting with the customer service Milena was very informative when it cam down to their savory bites menu. The prosciutto de parma and pane e panelle( chick pea fritter sandwich) was the order. The parma panini was well presented and quality matched the aesthetics. The pane I could say needs a bread reduction but that semolina roll is really good. The place is cozy because its a high end bakery that produces delightful fare comparable to Martha's country which personally is overrated. Come here for a nice snack, and leave happy. Hey honestly use to love this place I would go in twice a day. I can no longer go due to hair being in my food twice .. once in a tuna sandwich and the other in my soup. I am a blonde, it was black so I know for a fact it wasn't mine. On top of that they raise their prices astronomically, and the service is terrible to say the least. This bakery has the best cappuccino /espresso machine in the area by far. So at the very least their coffee game is on point. They cakes are pricey for the amount but they are also pretty good. My favorite so far was the hazelnut...although it was ridiculously sweet. So in terms of cakes - they're maybe a 3.5. Their cookies are pretty basic and all perfectly fine but nothing special....except these Halloween cat cookies they had that were clearly made with very little sugar and were phenomenal. For overall pick up for pastries, coffee, cake, and food this place averages a strong 4. But if you dine inside it drops to a 2, because it is decorated well and looks lovely but there are always moms with obnoxious and uncontrolled toddlers running a muck and yelling. read more

This review is based on customer service and picking up my order. I placed an order via GrubHub. I went to go pick my order once it said it was ready. Zero parking outside so I doubled parked and ran inside to pick up my order that was paid for already. I see two lines. One where I guess people are paying for pastries what not and one for pick up. I see an older lady standing in front of the pick up line just standing and not moving from the counter so I ask the woman who serving the tables, "I see my order on the counter could you just grab it for me. It's been paid for. She tells me I need to wait on line. So I put myself on the wrong line. She must of past me 15 times and doesn't even acknowledge I went to the wrong line. Doesn't even tell me to stand where I am and somebody will assist you. So I stand on the wrong long for 20 minutes watching my food get colder and colder and my French toast becomes a wet soggy mess sitting in a tin because the 3 people ahead of me on the wrong line took forever and nobody wanted to give me assistance and either tell me I'm on the wrong line or get my order that I paid for 40 mins ago. So i get home and to my surprise I have a pile of cold shit that I had to eat because I was starving. Thanks. Never will be returning for that overpriced crap you call breakfast and hire employees that can move a line of 3 people faster than 20 mins wait time. Pathetic!!! read more

I love the cupcakes and desserts. The italian pastries remind me of italy. I get my panettone (italian christmas sweet bread) there during the christmas season. Last night my wife picked up a pulled pork sandwich. I took one bite and got nothing but jalapeño jack cheese and coleslaw. I took the top bun off and found maybe 2 tablespoonfuls of pork. The rest was coleslaw cheese and what looked like onion. They should Call it a coleslaw sandwich! Ever since the "expanded" the food and pastery quality has been going downhill. Last night was the last straw. It was the worst pulled powrk sandwich I ever had. And I have had a lot of pulled pork. I have been going to Panepinto Bakery since it had originally open years ago. I have to point out as time has gone on and they have grown into this well known establishment their quality has become Not so great. I have been ordering my breakfast here almost everyday for the last 6 -7 years. I am tired of paying almost 20 dollars for a platter and either getting poor quality bacon or my eggs cooked wrong. I ordered an ice coffee and when I picked it up the coffee had no ice but it was cold. I had to return the coffee. It's frustrating always having to return my food so they can get it Right. Most of the time I keep it and eat it because it's just easier and saves me the double trip back and forth. All I'm saying for the price in which you charge make sure the food is right the first time. read more

They used to be great when they were "Panardos"...with the renovations came much longer waiting times for simple orders, new employees who don't know what they're doing and it's one thing if they're new but there's a couple guys (who were there in the old location) who will literally just STAND there and watch as these girls shuffle around each other and not help speed things up. They're always "out" of pastries they always had, 99% of their old menu no longer exists, they don't have their fresh hot deli food they used to have, their prices have went up, and it really really sucks to have loved a local place and their food and then for them to get some aesthetic face lift and everything that mattered is now crap.
