After going to the mall, we were looking for a quick place to grab a bite. We found this Panera Bread and decided to give it a try. We ordered off the self-serve kiosk. I will give them props for the idea, but we were quickly confused by the pop up side selection. The service was quick, we got our food in a matter of seconds after we ordered. The food was fresh and tasty, but the sandwiches left us feeling hungrier than we came in. My only complaint is that the soup had a strange flavor of thickening (flour, maybe) but overall it was pretty good. read more

I used to go to this Panera all the time as it is close to my church. I'm not in the Alpharetta area as much, but I had to pick up some bagels here so I ordered via mobile and stopped by. I feel like Panera has lost a lot of hype throughout the years as I've been seeing more and more stores closing down, but this one is still standing strong. Came around 7:45AM on a Thursday and the store was relatively empty. I asked for a 7:45AM pick-up, and all the bagels to be toasted and sliced. The order was ready as soon as I arrived and the person handing me my order was extremely friendly. Thanks to her help, I was able to get in and out of the store without any trouble in a very quick fashion. Even I don't frequent Panera as much anymore because I do feel like they've raised prices immensely over the years, but their Tuesday Bagel special is actually a pretty good deal, so I do definitely need to stop by when I get a chance. Panera was one of my favorites when I was in school so it does bring back good memories, and I hope to be able to stop by again soon! read more

I haven't been to Panera in a long time, but I decided to stop by and try their new flatbreads. They had advertised them on their storefront windows. I ordered the Pepperoni flatbread with a lemon drop cookie for dessert. The flatbread was actually pretty good. Being that it's Panera, you know the bread itself will taste hot and fresh. My only complaint is with the amount of toppings. They give a decent amount of pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni, but it would have been a great flatbread with a little more. In addition, the lemon drop cookie was amazing. If you like lemon flavored desserts, then you definitely have to try this cookie sometime. One additional comment: the person expediting the food, Paul, was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I'll be back to try some of their other menu items. read more

I had placed an order for a cold refresher drink through the Panera Bread mobile app while I was sitting in my car in the parking lot. Btw, there's lots of free parking available around this Panera Bread location that's at the end of a very long strip mall that makes up North Point Marketplace in Alpharetta. Minutes after placing my order, I was sent an email to go to the Rapid Pick Up area to pick up my purchase. Nope, nothing there. I asked an employee who was just standing at the order counter about my order. He looked confused and didn't say anything to me, but he walked away and consulted another employee who looked in the system for my order and found it. The second employee just handed me a cup and instructed me where the beverage dispensers were at the back of the store. That's it. No greeting or even a smile from either one of them. Hmmm, this wasn't quite how the process was supposed to be handled, but ... ok. I'm just glad that my Unlimited Sip Club subscription is currently free. The beverage area was very sticky - counter, floor, equipment, and I had to stop myself from putting my full drink cup down on the counter in order to put the lid on it. I decided to walk to a dining area table about 10 feet away before I put the lid on my cup, all the while my shoes, which were now sticky on the bottoms, made annoying noises that sounded like velcro being separated every time I took a step. The dining area was clean, but the men's restroom was atrocious. The restroom hadn't been cleaned in a while, and the floor was littered with paper towels. Mixed bag of good and bad here that all evened out to OK rating from me. Nice PB next to North Point Mall! Sure beats the offerings at the food court at the mall. Stopped in for my morning bagel. Used the kiosk to order a seasame bagel. Then the manager said it wasn't available, so upgraded me to asaigo bagel. Great. Staff is friendly here, and inside is nice for a PB. Fireplace too which makes it more cozy. Free wifi. But no morning paper here, which is shame as I like to go old school and read the paper. Not to mention my soduku puzzle. Also calorie count on all the items on the menu. I cannot recall if I ever placed an order for company lunches without them being delivered on time. I am ok with them running up to 15 minutes late. But running over an hour late is absolutely ridiculous. What for am I paying the delivery fees??? You should deliver on time or very close to the requested time. I am beyond furious. I ordered for the food to be delivered half an hour earlier than normal because of their delays. Even with the additional 30 minutes, they are still an hour late. I am not a fan of oatmeal and especially steel cut oatmeal but Panera sent me a free breakfast and since I have had everything other than their oatmeal, I decided to give it a try. I chose the one with blueberries and granola and I added honey. The picture looked delicious so I was actually pretty excited. When I received my order, I was amazed at the amount that came in the cup. I was really impressed with the taste of the oatmeal with the blueberries and granola. I am glad that I had honey added. Once I got to the middle of the cup, I did feel like the oatmeal needed some butter or milk, but overall i really enjoyed the oatmeal. read more

I used to love this place! But these days the service is so non existent. The workers don't want to wait on customers since they have machines to take orders. I was trying to find out if the soup was gluten free so my nephew could eat it. The girl said I think it is. Who trains workers at Panera? No one that's who. It isn't gluten free but if I'd taken her at her word I'd have had a sick 10 year old on my hands. Probably just better not to dine at a place with this lack of care anymore. If she'd said let me ask or hang on I'd have felt more confident in the rest of the experience. Instead, the girl became angry when we asked her to verify with someone who knew the actual answer. If you're gonna work in food services you'll have to be willing to learn a bit about the importance of food allergies please. read more

Ok so how do you not have bread? Couldn't order any sandwiches or anything g with bread.... Yet there are loaves sitting in the order window. Only soups or salads. Check your to-go orders before leaving. I went well after morning rush and the cashier couldn't keep my 3 item order straight. I was on way to hospital to see a friend and got there without the orange scone I'd wanted to bring him. Mgr offered refund over the phone so they will try to make it right. I give this Panera 3 stars, or A-OK. I came in on Sunday morning for breakfast. They did not have a drive-thru, so I went and got carry out inside. I ordered a Blueberry Bagel, and attempted to order a latte. They were out of milk so they couldn't make it. I tried to order a coke zero instead, but they did not have that either. So, I just got a water cup. The water in the soft drink machine was pink-ish, so I just decided to not get a drink there. The bagel itself was great! It was a perfect temperature, and really tasty with cream cheese. They gave me a knife and napkins in the bag, so everything I needed was in there. I was at this location last night around 8 p.m. and witnessed a fair skinned black cashier assisting two Asian women. Apparently, there was a language barrier and rather than speaking more slowly, the cashier was yelling at the women at the top of her lungs. She was attempting to help them understand the menu and was yelling that the meal came with their choice of either chips or an apple. She did this at least 5 or more times. Common sense would have told her that she would have most likely been able to get her point across in far less time had she simply shown them an actual apple and bag of chips. These women were clearly embarassed. To make matters worse, she was laughing as she was yelling at these elderly women as if she found humor in embarassing these women. Being part Asian myself, I found this behavor to be unprofessional, ignorant and uncalled for. The women were not hard of hearing. There was no reason to be screaming at them. I have been a regular patron of this location for years and over the past two or three years, I have noticed a decline in the overall quality of service at this location. It is always nasty in the dining area and the customer service has definitely plummeted. Thiey are constantly out of menu items. After last night's circus, I will most likely only visit the location in Duluth, off of Medlock Bridge. read more

This five stars is based on the cleaning of Sherri. Customer service is so lacking these days. One person came around and wiped down the tables half heartedly. But, then came Sherri. She cleaned the table, wiped down the seats and swept up anything under the table. She did a very thorough job. On my way out she was emptying the messy dish disposal area. She had everything separated and again was doing an efficient and thorough job. I had to take time to write a review and let her know that customers like me see this, care and appreciate her hard work. I went in this afternoon (4.12.21) about 5pm to pick up a to go order, which I do about once every two weeks.  I get home and open my chicken salad sandwich to find the bread is mostly lettuce and the chicken salad literally only is half the sandwich...this seriously is ridiculous...just tell me if you dont have chicken salad today, simple; instead, someone at this store made the conscious decision to fill each side of the sandwich halfway. This place gets a solid three star, because it is pretty hit or miss. I feel like the food is pretty consistent--but I normally always order the same thing because when I don't sometimes I'm disappointed (aka broth bowl--don't do it!). Service has normally been good when I'm there, but I typically go in the evening & not at rush hour lunch time. However, last time I went, ALL the tables were dirty! There were only a handful of tables occupied, but all the open ones had crumbs & trash all over them. That's frustrating. Overall, I feel like this is your typical Panera. Overall: This place is a joke. Skip if you want to keep your sanity. Food: Everyone in my family is sick after eating at this Panera bread 11/23 at 6:00 pm. Had two pick two meals and kids soup and Mac and cheese. Hardly edible. After the debacle in trying to get the food, didn't bother talking to the manager. Service: Ordered at 5:56 pm and we are literally standing at the food pick up area the entire time with our two toddlers. We ask around 6:10 pm if the food is coming out, to which we get a "we aren't at that order yet." Meanwhile everyone else who ordered after us is getting their food. Tough to know if you aren't at the order if you refuse to look at the receipt or ask for a name. It's now 6:20 and I'm fed up and kids are getting very cranky. I go up to the same lady who rudely states "Look honey. There's only three of us here. We aren't at your order." She has still not looked at my receipt that I'm holding up to her face or asked for my name. I tell her I've seen multiple people order after us and get their food. She finally turns to the manager to say I have a question. Manager looks at my receipt (THANK YOU) and proceeds to tell me "It didn't show up on our machine." No "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting." Service 101 - when YOU screw up, I don't care why YOUR machine doesn't work. I'm looking for an apology and a fix. Needless to say, 30 mins later we got our food. Yeah I get "EVERYWHERE is under staffed." Well we spent more time going back and forth versus if they would have looked at the receipt the first time. And if the manager had any skill set related to service, she could have made it right with her response. This is more a store culture issue. read more

The cashier who rang me up did not change her gloves. I ordered a bagel she grabbed the bagel and sliced it with the exact same gloves she had on the entire time I was in line to order. I found it to be so unsanitary she was touching everything her face adjusting her hat, and surrounding area. It was disgusting and continued on with the next order the same way. Popped in this Panera location today for lunch with my son. The ordering process was rather quick & easy. We were given a pager to notify us when our order was ready. It went off within 5 min, so I returned to the pick up counter bt my order was not ready. About 8 min pass, and I watched at least 10 orders go out while waiting on mine. When I inquired about my order about 4 min in, stating that my pager went off 4 min earlier, I was told that it was coming up soon. Something about a "double #" was mentioned, but not elaborated on. I eventually get our order & it was as expected. The food was good, and as ordered. I did notice on my receipt that the cashier must have used her own Panera Rewards card on my order, because I do not have a rewards card & my receipt tells me that I earned $1 off a smoothie with my purchase &listed all MyPanera offers earned. read more

Panera is my go to office. Cappuccino and the cookie with points after five or six lunches. My standard is the squash soup in the winter and tomato soup in the summer with the Fuji apple chicken salad. Simply delicious. The only thing I would improve is they never have the sprouted grain rolls they're always out. Note to Panera.MAKE MORE GRAIN SPROUT ROLLS. This is probably the 2nd time I've been here, but I can't really recall. Anyway, I came here today for lunch with a friend that was in the area. I got the usual half and half order: half sandwich & half soup. I got the Southwestern chicken flat bread & cream of chicken with wild rice soup. The soup was delish! Loved it so much. It was creamy and flavorful. The sandwich was okay. I didn't love it, but it wasn't bad. Above average? Lol. My friend also recommended the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and broccoli and cheese soup as well. The service was above average as the employees were cordial and welcoming. There's nothing particularly wrong with this Panera Bread, but it doesn't really do anything to make itself stand out. Located near North Point Mall, this restaurant can be found near the end of a strip mall next to a PetSmart and Dick's Sporting Goods. It probably gets most of its traffic from the "well, we're out running errands anyway, and this is convenient...." crowd. That's usually my logic when I step in, anyway. This location seems a little bigger than most Panera Breads and does a good amount of business. Still, it's never over-crowded and you never have to circle like a vulture to find a clean table or booth (I've had this problem before at Panera). The food is the same as you'll find anywhere, and the people are perfectly friendly (even when they're explaining, as they did with me last time, that they're out of the first two things you try to order.) Also, I was scandalized to hear that French Onion Soup is no longer on the menu. Whaaaaaaaat? I checked to see if this was some sort of seasonal disaster, but no one seemed to know. read more

The chicken wild rice is a must try if they have it the day. I had it in Minnesota and thought I would have to go back there to try it again, nope Panera saves the day. I arrived at the Panara on North Point Parkway before 7:00 today to buy plain bagels. I was shocked to find out they were out of the plain bagels and most of the regular bagels. When I asked why I was told we have a lot of catering orders. Do you not take this into account when determining how many bagels are made on a daily basis? I have to buy the plain because I buy for people with different food allergies and plain bagels are the only bagels that everyone can eat. I can't order in advance because we take turn paying.
