The food and service were fine but this really does not seem right at all. The green pappa tea tasted weird too so I'm sure it wasn't cleaned in a while, clearly. I'm not usually one to post on here but this doesn't seem right.

I wanted to place an order online at the Normal but they did not have my bagel selection. Remind you that it is 7:15 am in the morning and they open at 6 am. So I went to the Bloomington location before placing my order. Got there and waited a few seconds which is is understandable. A pleasant young lady helped me with the order. Came back with my order with a nice carrier which I have never seen it from the Normal branch. I doubled check my order verbally and went home. I had a cinnamon swirl bagel. It is harder than I expected. I know they used to clear their bread every night, not sure about the bagels though. Overall I am pleased with the service and acceptable quality of the food. I got napkins and utensils as requested. After I ate my chewy bagel and soggy one, my hubby had an Asiago bagel. He said it's stale! I thought I was being critical but guess not! I think twice about getting anything from Panera again. This is not the first time we had issues with the order. What a way to start my day!

I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking about a chain fast food place. We all know Panera is good. Just an fyi, they no longer take your order. You do it yourself using a kiosk. I received notification that my food was ready. I had just found my seat and was getting my tablet set up so I could work. I take y tablet and go to the pick up window. They said they will call me when it ready. I said I had been notified. They said nope not yet. Back to my table, set up the tablet, start to log in... my order is ready! Take the tablet and go to the window. It's ready, take my food to the table and guess what... DELICIOUS! . Food is good... the new process...

We ordered drinks and two special appetizers, shrimp in a spicy cream sauce and pork belly bits with diced mango. Both were delicious. For our mains, we chose: Sassy Chicken Thighs and Brown Sugar Brined Pork Chop. The chicken thighs melted in my mouth. We spoke at length with the manager after our dinner and tried to guess the ingredients in the outstanding sauces. The sassy sauce had in addition to the honey and Dijon, some cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin. Not too spicy, just enough zip to make it interesting. The pork chop was also amazing. Tender and juicy with a cherry balsamic glaze. We would definitely recommend a visit and plan to return the next time we're in town.

The menu was several pages but only one page with food, drinks were the remainder. We got the dipper appetizer and I had the Sassy Chicken Thighs. Both were good and the thigh was boneless. My wife had the loaded potato salad, asparagus, and broccoli which she enjoyed. My son had the Steak Sliders with the potato salad which he really enjoyed. I suppose when the chef can master a menu there's no need for multiple pages. I misjudged and would definitely come back if I'm in town again.
