WHY do people rave about this eatery? OMG !! Worst food I've EVER eaten from a local place. As I had received a few gift cards (some were 2 yrs old) decided to take my hubby there for lunch. Bad decision. The bill was $ 29.32 for 2 soups & 2 sandwiches. He had the baked potato soup & turkey w/avocado while I had the veggie soup & Italian sandwich. Soup was hot but tasteless while the sandwiches were dry. Ended up throwing most of it out even after putting mayo on them. AND to add insult to injury, there was actually a tip jar next to the register + the patron has to both serve themselves AND clean up their table. Guess I should have either re-gifted the cards or exchanged them @ Target. Needless to say, we WON'T go back much less recommend this place. read more

I love Panera. I have been to plenty of them over the years. The drive-thru is totally unique and awesome, but I've only ever had one single pleasant interaction with any of the staff members among lots and lots of visits, most of whom are teenage girls who are don't hide the fact that they don't want to be there. The food's good... when it's made correctly. Ingredients are forgotten (for example, the bacon on a turkey bacon sandwich???), and once, I got a tuna sandwich with tuna slapped over half of the bread. Other locations have friendly and engaging staff, and I've never had sandwiches screwed up as often as this one. I get it. You don't like your jobs. I would really rather they just not say "have a nice day" instead of trying to convey they're forced to say it. Hopefully, now that they're hiring, they'll pick up a few less bratty employees. read more

As a coffee shop, they limit your time to be connected to their Wifi. I guess they want tables to turn around quicker, but I have never seen a coffee shop kicking their customers off line! I promise I will never come back, shame on you panera "coffee". read more

Wow, what happened to this restaurant? I used to order the chicken noodle soup and it was full of noodles and chicken. This soup looked like broth only. Very disappointed. The caeser salad was ok, the bear claw was excellent. This place is waaaay over priced for our meal. I will not be back. read more

Went today to get one of those amazing looking soba broth bowls. Service was good, the drive thru line moved pretty quick. The broth bowl was terrible. I am not a picky eater but everything about this tasted awful. Plus it was $9!!!! read more

I ferequant this location about once a week. The staff is always friendsly and they now have a drive thru!!! You can't beat a Panera with a Drive Thru! They also have the rewards card and some don't. Take out the middle of the bread bowl and put it on your plate and eat it. Pretty blah right? Thats about the taste of the sandwiches they have. I didn't remember ordering it toasted, I didn't, just hard, crusty bread. Gave it a two due to the coffee being good. read more

I go to panera a couple of times a week and have noticed that they almost always try to short you on your order. For example I ordered the Fuji apple chicken salad and they left off the chicken. They have done this three times with my salad. Another example is many times when I order the asiago steak sandwich they leave the cheese off it even though it is supposed to come with cheese. whenever you order to go, make sure you check and make sure they didn't cheat you first. read more

I seriously LOVE Panera, but corporate should question this franchise owners management ability. I have 2 kids and love the drive thru option. But they NEVER get my order correct! Even something small. Today I ordered a small hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar on the side. So I get a cup of cream with a splash of coffee in it. When again I specified I wanted it on the side, the snotty girl said "well it's already in it" . So for the first time I said I want a coffee with no cream in it please like I initially ordered. Ok, so they were out of croutons - it's not like they are a bread place ...; the restroom had no toilet tissue and NO hand towels - hmmm, I am thinking the employees were not washing their hands or were using their aprons to dry them???? the dish bins had not been emptied for what looked hours and the floor was filthy as well as table tops. The manager avoided me - in fact after making eye contact and hearing her staff tell her someone (me) wanted to speak with her - she ran off to the back room - she said to deal with multiple complaints and didn't see me and felt overwhelmed but she knew her staff had not been in the restroom?????? This place has gone downhill. Other than the drive-thru, I can't think of a good thing to say about it. The last few times I've been there, I was disappointed with the quality of the food, but my last visit was the final straw. I got two bagels and two cookies using the drive-thru. When I got home, my daughter opened the bag to find two of the skimpiest bagels we've ever seen! Less than an inch wide and tall in places! Grocery store bagged bagels look and taste better than these did! The cookies were too "brown" and the frosting on them looked NOTHING like the picture, but like something a four year old would have decorated! I wasn't happy so I called the manager and she promised to send me a coupon to replace the purchase. I never got it. The Panera in Green Oaks Township is 10x better. read more

I love that they have a drive thru, but they get my order wrong about 75% of the time. One time they forgot to put the turkey on my daughter's turkey sandwich and didn't give me my soup at all. Tonight they gave me chicken noodle soup (yuck) when I ordered creamy chicken and wild rice. Especially irritating since I made a special trip to this location to get this soup, which isn't available at all sites. Shame on me for going back, I need to accept that they're not going to improve. read more
