Zero customer service! Went in to get their "Mix and Match" special since the app would not let me order 2 of the same items (the definition of "Match"). The person behind the counter had to go get the manager and he was not willing to sell me the order 2 of the same items at the promotional price. The promotion does not state you must pick 2 different items and with the name "Mix and Match", one would think you could match... but apparently not. My wife and I came to this place for lunch. She ordered a chicken bacon rancher. I ordered chili. The service was abominable. The cashier was okay, no one was calling completed orders, and if I hadn't been keeping an eye on the counter our food would have congealed right there. My wife's sandwich was tasteless, almost inedible. My chili was okay. The place was dirty and overpriced. You have to bus your tables. The staff is not looking to work. Will not be back. A new Panera Bread just opened in Bristow Center - the large retail complex off of Linton Hall Road by the intersection of Route 28 and Linton Hall Road. I've not been to a Panera Bread in a number of years. This location also has a Drive Thru. I visited for breakfast: Bacon, egg, and cheese on Brioche and a coffee. Paid with Apple Pay. Upon paying - you are presented with a puck to take with you to your table - that lights up when your order is ready. They were pretty busy - so it took about 10 minutes before my order came up. Was a bit disappointed in the breakfast sammie - the amount of bacon and cheese was extremely sparse - I could barely tell there was any cheese in it. Flavor was good. Coffee was good. There is lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. There is also an express pick up line inside for online/to-go orders. Service was good. #PaneraBread read more

Have been here several times since they opened this location. I have ordered both breakfast and lunches here and haven't had any food quality issues. The wait time when ordering inside is quite slow. Having gone through the drive thru, it's always been much quicker in my experience. I'm not sure how long ago they changed the cream cheese containers, but the cost versus the size doesn't add up. You almost need to order a tub of cream cheese to spread on your one bagel and save the rest in your fridge for next time. read more

Service is nice, people are kind. Never been inside so unsure about the ambiance and how it feels ordering inside. Issues mainly with the food. Don't get bagels sliced there if you want to toast yourself. Double check if you ask for unsliced, they may do the slicing for you. The slicing is really poorly done and you have to butcher your bagel to get it to fit properly in the toaster. First time ordering a dinner sandwich from this new location. Didn't feel like meat, so I ordered the green goddess caprese as I thought that would be great. However, the Taco Bell effect was strong. My sandwich barely had any cheese, greens, tomatoes. You know, the ingredients? This is happening at so many places and the food prices only go up. When are we going to stop buying? read more

I ordered lunch here today for me and my coworker and my lunch was wrong. I tried to call the store about 5 to 6 times 2 out of them 6 times someone just picked up and hung up. It really sucks because I didn't get to eat lunch. I only called to let them know the issue. I was not able to turn around and go get my lunch. The young lady that took the order was pretty nice though but overall sucks to not be able to eat lunch after working outside all day. We ordered a family meal that includes four half sandwiches; we only received 3 of the 4. Since my husband was passing by to pick up the order on the way back home from work, we called to request a refund for the missing sandwich since it's not close to us. The manager offered a $6 refund; however, after looking at the website, it was supposed to be $7.50. I know it's not much but money is money these days. My husband mentioned it to her and she played dumb and said oh okay, we will refund that amount if you'd like. For a brand new, chain restaurant they are off to a terrible start. I placed a pickup order the day before the pickup date. Mind you, it was a large broccoli cheddar soup (catering size that serves 4), and a bagel with cream cheese. Upon pickup, the didn't have the bagel advertised on the website. No reason given. Second ding was the soup. Nothing but flavorless broccoli water! It was terrible! Not sure why they would add soo much water; maybe to make the soup last longer, maybe they didn't want to make more later in the day- who knows. But, people that dine at Panera know the consistency of the soup, and to spend over $30 for garbage was such a shame. It's been 21 days since I was here. Today, as I waited for my order to go, I was a little concerned. I watched who I believe was a manager touch a co-workers phone then scratch her face right up to her hairline. (she was wearing a pink button up shirt) Not really a big deal but she then proceeded to grab bread and other items to place in bags. She DID NOT change the gloves she had on her hands that she touched a phone and her face with seconds earlier. Panera Bristow Shopping center. Ordered a baja bowl with chicken. Got home, only to find there was barely anything in the bowl, and it looked of poor quality. I drove back to the store, spoke to the assistant manager who saw nothing wrong with it. In fact, she was rude, shook the bowl and said it was made correctly. When I compared the poor quality to better quality bowls made at other Paneras, the manager said the other Paneras must not be making or measuring their's correctly. I asked for a refund. I have tried this restaurant 3 times and each time I have been so disappointed. 1st time thought ok maybe a bad day, 2nd time terrible sandwich, today was the 3rd and final time. I opened the wrapper on my tomato and basil sandwich, and it was so soggy it went into the trash. The last time I ordered the chicken fontega sandwich it went in the trash as well for the same reason. Your employees need to be trained not only in food preparation but sanitary measures as well. read more

This Panera just opened and it's so spacious and clean. The staff at the Panera are friendly and efficient with my order. It is in the same shopping center as my dentist and orthodontist office. I love the convenience of the drive- thru! I was able to get myself a delicious fall treat and coffee so I don't have to shop at the Harris Teeter with an empty stomach. I ordered the pick 2 for lunch, a cup of chicken noodle soup and 1/2 ciabatta cheesesteak. The cheese steak could have used a bit more steak but not an issue. But the chicken noddle soup was 99% broth, void of chicken AND noodles. I called a spoke to a young lady named Robin, I was told that who ever made the cup of soup scooped it from the top and not the bottom where the noodles and chicken apparently hide out. I guess that's good to know, but it didn't help other than to request, the next time, for the soup to be scooped from the bottom. In fairness Robin did apologized, but did not offer another cup of soup for which I paid for. You guys missed an opportunity to provide excellent customer service. read more
