    Sad sandwich - Asiago

This location has gone down the hill since Covid. I ordered one of the new Asiago sandwiches online and it barely had meat and no tomato and the basil was old and crunchy. Not even close to the picture. I used to love Panera but I won't be going back.

Get my menu and everything seems normal, look it over make eye contact with a few of cooks and then decide on my food. After about 5ish minutes someone finally acknowledges me and I place my order, soup/sandwich and Dr Pepper. Around this same time, someone sits next to me at the same counter. Immediate hi from someone in the kitchen, let me find someone to take your order, the full red carpet. They place their order a few minutes later, and we are off to the races. We are now about 10 minutes from when I placed my order drink and soup comes. Cool, just going to wait for my sandwich but eat a few spoonfuls. Another 10ish minutes pass and I have now finished my cup of soup, still waiting on the sandwich. Here's where things take a turn, person next to me gets their order and lo and behold it looks like what I ordered soup/sandwich and some kind smoothie/shake thing. At this point it's almost 215 and my lunch hour is almost over and still no sandwich in sight. So I got up, paid for my had a cup of soup and Dr Pepper and went back to work. Thanks for helping me keep my calorie count low today Manna.

This is truly an elevated hospital dining experience. Most hospitals just have few selections for food but this restaurant has a full menu and wait staff. The food comes out fast and they are very friendly. Everything we tried was delicious. They have weekly menu options for a special burger and pizza of the week. You can also order ahead for pickup too which is a nice touch. If you're loved one is in the hospital this is a nice reprieve and escape from visiting the hospital. There is plenty of seating inside and if you take your food Togo there are outdoor areas to sit as well.

Our booth on the church side was a little cramped. During the online reservation, it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I selected anniversary. I did not expect anything elaborate, but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. There was none. The bread was soft and warm. It was probably the best part of the meal. The rest of the food was just underwhelming. The four seasons salad was okay but not memorable. The crab-stuffed shrimp linguine was also just okay, nothing special. The chicken piccata was overpowered by lemon and had not much flavor. The veal marsala risotto was dry, bland and forgettable. The portions were just right. Service could have been better. It was a little slow and did not feel warm or welcoming. Considering the hype and prices, the experience did not meet our expectations. None of us really enjoyed the meal. For us, it is a one-and-done.

We were seated quickly and our server was there to take our order. I loved the look of the restaurant with the beautiful murals on the wall. We placed our order quickly. Then it all fell apart. Our food came out but only 3 of the 4 meals. It was clearly a mistake on their part but no apology at all. The pho (11) was horrible. This party was accustomed to eating pho and this serving was not good. The spicy beef was tough and dry. The service that started out so well quickly became terrible. We had to flag our server down for everything: Drink refills, to go boxes, the bill - and it's a small place!!!! Now the billing - I hardly ever include the receipt in my reviews but I wanted to be clear - they charge for refills!!! The drinks were $3.75 EACH!!!! I had the iced tea. Just plain old unsweetened tea!!! I was charged $3.75 for a refill. When I asked about it there was a hesitation and then a response of yes we charge for refills. If you go here to dine, I hope that your experience is 200% better than ours. I will not be returning and I am a second chance person. May our experience be an exception - that does happen. Good luck if you choose to dine here.

They handle a steady stream of walk-in customers along with mobile orders, app pickups, DoorDash, and other delivery services. Despite the constant rush, the staff always does a great job keeping things moving while remaining friendly and professional. The service is consistently fast, the employees are welcoming, and the sandwich selection offers something for just about everyone. In a time when food prices seem to climb every week, Snarf's still delivers quality ingredients and satisfying portions at a reasonable price. I've been a fan since the early Boulder days, so it's great to see Snarf's expand into communities like Castle Rock. There's something comforting about grabbing a hot sandwich made with fresh ingredients and knowing exactly what you're going to get every time. While I'm definitely not a vegetarian, one of my longtime favorites is the Eggplant Parmesan with hot peppers. It's packed with flavor and proof that you don't need meat to make an outstanding sandwich. Another thing I appreciate about this location is the amount of seating available. There's ample space inside along with a nice outdoor patio, so even during busy periods it rarely feels overcrowded. The vibe is relaxed, casual, and unpretentious~exactly what you want from a neighborhood sandwich shop. Grab a hot sandwich, kick back, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. If you're looking for a reliable spot for a great sandwich, Snarf's Castle Rock is worth the stop. Castle Rock is lucky to have one~I'll definitely be back. I don't know where "reviewer" Keven went four months ago, but both interior & exterior looked brand new, so his references about shabby furniture are confounding. What he described simply didn't exist. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, and each course arrived within a reasonable time. As for the food, it was excellent. We had an appetizer of baked Brie and prosciutto, that was served with a spicy peach reduction meant to be spread on the toast quarters that accompanied the dish. The pastas were all fresh and prepared al dente, which is the correct way to prepare pasta, and there were a variety of sauces available for those who might want to change up the menu selections. I have absolutely no idea what these folks were talking about when they mentioned specifics available on the menu that they found wanting. Reading their criticisms, It was like they went to a different establishment. Whatever the disconnect, there is no question that Danielle's is a cut above most restaurants and well worth the extra price. If one wants food that tastes like the old country, then one has to pay a bit more for the experience when here in the US.
