Was greeted at the door for the first time, they put in iPads for quick ordering, although I still ordered from a person. I like that with their new tracker pads, they bring the food to your table. Panera Bread has done an incredible job streamlining all of their franchises. Unlike coffee chains like Starbucks, every Panera is just about the same and I can find very little to evaluate other than the location. This one happens to be in a location that was convenient for me. The menu is great for either breakfast or lunch (or just a coffee for that matter). I like Panera as a company and I like this location as well. read more

Love the food, if they didn't get so cheap on everything else like not filling soup up to the line in the bowl. I also can't stand they are doing everything they can to eliminate cashiers. This was my first visit to this location and it was a good visit. Very nice layout and location. Service was super fast. Coffee was always fresh and hot. All the creams were filled. Variety of sugars available. Nice and quiet place to come enjoy lunch or anything basically ans free wifi! I will definetly be back at this location many more times in the near future!!! We had a very complicated rush order for 9 people. The Rapid Order feature of Panera's website said the order wouldn't be ready for an hour. When I called to speak with someone to see if it could be completed more quickly, the manager, Conrad, was incredibly gracious and said that typically larger orders take more time, but he would be happy to accommodate us. Not only was the food ready when I arrived in 20 minutes, but every person's order was correct. Thank you, Conrad! read more

This place is so hidden. But it's worth stopping in. The sandwiches are yummy. My dad loves the soup, he says anywhere else he gets soup his tummy gets upset. I love fresh sourdough bread and the chocolate chip bagels. Although the last time I was in I asked for some bagels sliced and placed in a plastic bag, so we could have for breakfast. Sadly, they were not. Grew hard, and had to throw them out. :( read more

Horrible service! Who ever did training on making the sandwiches and drinks needs to revisit this Panera. Even when I requested to redo my food and drinks, they still weren't able to get it right. The only thing left to do was for me go behind the counter and make it myself. The manager there is useless and doesn't understand customer service. My fat ass wanted a bread bowl but they ran out at 5:45 and all silverware was dirty and instead of replacing knives with real silverware like we asked we were given plastic utensils. Dis fat ass upset! read more

My family loves Panera, but this location is by far the worst one I have visited. The tables were dirty and the armchairs looked like they needed to be thrown out or at least steam cleaned. The food was fine except our meal was cut short by the manager coming over and telling us that they were closing soon. I would have understand if we were past closing. read more

These reviews are awful, and I am adding another one. The wonderful Karen taking our order is the only thing going right at this location. My turkey sandwich was horrible! The turkey must have just been defrosted, it was that cold. I put the bread at about 5 days old...the bacon looked and tasted like it came off of the Playschool plate in the Little Tykes kitchen. We waited while the 5 customers after us were served, and when I went to inquire about what happened to our order, I was snapped at by one of the food runners at the counter. I officially will never step foot in another Panera, because this chain must have a new direction, subpar food, subpar employees, and high priced food throw on a plate. read more

Slowest service in the industry. Constant errors. Always check your bag before leaving the restaurant...something will be missing. Managers stand around, unwilling to chip in when busy. They may put effort into baking the bread, but they certainly don't put it into customer service training! Our company does a monthly breakfast with them and they have yet to get the order right...something is always missing and they will argue with the person picking it up every time. The final straw was when an obnoxious remark regarding how we have requested the bagels be sliced was scrawled across the top of the receipt...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? A call to the store for Corporate's phone number was a battle, but the customer service representative at Panera Corporate was very nice. After emailing a copy of the receipt to him he advised the District Mgr would be calling to discuss the situation. 4 days passed--no call. After he was advised of this via email she finally called--at 5:30pm--obviously hoping not to reach a human. From the tone of her voice mail she really couldn't be bothered, so it's obvious if she's the DM where the store staff gets their attitudes from. An email to Panera corporate thru their website also went unanswered. They obviously don't think they need the business. Here's a flash Panera in Downers Grove--DUNKIN DONUTS was delighted to help us---they got the order spot on and couldn't have been nicer. Perhaps the cashier Tessa and the DM Kristin should take the short bus back to the remedial customer service school for dummies. read more

Same decent Panera food you expect. Really bad service. Super slow at everything. Today, I went in to grab a quick bite to go. I stood at the register for at least 5 solid minutes without even being acknowledged. There were two workers and they both just continued cleaning the counters, etc. I left and went to the sushi place next door- which is way better anyway. read more

Was just here a week ago. I haven't been for a while and I couldn't believe how poor the quality of the food was. The Bacon Turkey Bravo is my favorite sandwich and it was almost inedible. The turkey was little round slices that you get at Walmart and the Gouda (which is usually delicious and creamy) was a weird square plastic tasting disaster. It is sad to see the cost saving measures taking such a significant toll on the food. read more

Please, for the love of humanity, do not take your business to this place. They mess up orders constantly, are always out of some type of bagel on any given day, or they'll lose your ticket and serve your meal cold when you complain about the wait. The staff clearly doesn't give two shits about their job. There has yet to be one time where I've gone to this establishment where I've left completely satisfied. This morning I wanted to go in and get myself a bagel and hot tea. Given it hasn't even been open an hour I figure there's a slim to none chance that I could be any more fed up with this place than I already am. I walk over to see a sign that tells me their card system is down, meaning no credit/debit or even use of my Panera rewards. And though I understand that technology malfunction isn't something that everyone can anticipate this was merely another addition to the snowball effect of problems that this establishment has collected. I have never been to a Panera that has been so unorganized, and I wouldn't have bothered with it up until now if it wasn't so close to where I work. This place is not worth a single cent, and if you are desperate for a bagel it coffee please drive over to the Starbucks. Or better yet, go down to the Panera on Ogden avenue. Even Great American Bagel. The distance is far worth the outcome over this trashy establishment read more
