    Iced Tea
    Ane V.

Encino, California This is the very first location that I have been to. And I have been coming here on and off for the free birthday pastry. Recently I rejoined the Sip Club. I was in the area so I stopped by to get me some Iced Tea. The place wasn't busy so I was tended to promptly. The place is small but enough to accommodate customers. It has a patio dining facing the Ventura Blvd which is a nice addition. It is kind of elevated that makes it cool. You don't feel like you are eating the dust and fumes from the vehicles. Good enough parking that is shared with Bank Of America and some other businesses. Restrooms are clean and stocked during the said visit.

$28 for a half a sandwich chips and cup of soup meal deal with lemonade is wild. Soup was old, I'll drive extra to stonefire grill next time. Food was mid especially for the price.

Delicious mac and cheese, mini brownie bites, and the blueberry lavender cold tea from the Sip Club--so refreshing! Excellent service by Breanna, Josh, Eric, Xavier, all staff--they all deserve special holiday recognition. Clean, inviting environment. Perfect spot for studying, working, and getting things done, increasing, productivity. God bless!

Another Panera location for me to try. Consistent experience from location to location. I really enjoy being able to go to a Panera in LA and a Panera in Ohio or anywhere and enjoy the same great food, same great service and comfortable surrounding. This location is right off Ventura Blvd. parking lot is in the rear, although it can get tight at times, but parking should be good. You can also park in the front on Ventura Blvd. if need be. Entrance in front and back as well. Their food, pastries, baked goods and fruit is fresh and have plenty of healthy options vs many casual sit down spots or fast food locations. I can feel good about visiting here for lunch or dinner and get a healthy meal anytime. I do recommend looking for deals, coupons, etc. as it can get pricey. Thankfully, they normally have promos, deals, coupons, etc. to help if you look for them. Also, I highly recommend joining the Sip Club, you pay a monthly or yearly fee to get unlimited drinks every two hours everyday, great deal. My go to is the Ranch Cobb salad with chicken, yum! Enjoy!

While this is a nice location on the inside, I was a little disappointed in my experience here. The cashier however was super nice and professional! I went in for breakfast and got a bagel and cream cheese and a coffee. Their bagel selection is kind of limited, but they are decent bagels. I ordered my bagel to go and they gave it to me with the cream cheese on the side. I wish they put it on the bagel for you! I was also excited to get a cup of the hazelnut coffee. The coffee area was nice and organized, but the coffee wasn't hot. I asked someone behind the counter if I could get a fresh cup of the hazelnut coffee, and they poured me some from the fresh pot in the back. However, it still wasn't hot. The temperature was warm at best. I hadn't visited a Panera in a really long time, and I'm not in a big rush to go back.

Panera Bread has always been one of my favorite spots to eat since I first discovered them back when I worked foe the city - it was my daily lunch choice. I became even a bigger fan when I found out that instead of throwing away their daily freshly baked items, they donate it to organizations that feed the homeless communities. Now, I find out they also participate in the TooGoodToGo program (app) where they sell for a minimal fee surprise bags, in this case $5.49, again, instead of throwing away the items not purchased. I was pleasantly surprised with my bag. I was able to choose what I wanted from the bakery items. I chose all my favorites. Panera is at the top of my list. I also purchased dinner while I was there and had a half asian salad with chicken noodle soup, a bag of chips and baguettes with a large passion green tea (my favorite green tea on the planet). The customer service was top notch and the place was clean. They have meter parking in the front and parking in the rear. I will be back.

    Italian sub
    John J.

The term Value has gone out of the window. Reluctantly, after getting outraged by Fat Sal's I went to Panera. At least I was respected as a customer, in contrast to @fatsals. I felt like having an Italian sub. For the older people, do you remember getting a nice crispy Italian roll, with Italian dressing loaded with salami, mortadella and provolone cheese garnished with shredded lettuce and tomato? Well either that memory in mind, I got on the inshore computer and saw a good looking sub. So I ordered it. What a disappointment. The only good fact about the sandwich was the bread. It was tasty. I could hardly taste the meat in the sandwich. It was more like Cuban Panini than an Italian sub. I remember when I had my chain of restaurants, we put five ounces of meat on our sandwiches. It was no wonder we sold more than a thousand sandwiches daily. That is including catering orders. How do these places like Panera and Fat Sal's stay in business? How? I am stunned. I guess due to shortness of time and lack of good options people go for convenience. Maybe I should get back into restaurant business.

Container filled less than 1/4 full
    Kate S.

I hate leaving a bad review but I genuinely hope this changes because it's happened to me the past few times. I usually order a salad and every time I receive it, the dressing containers are less than 1/4 of the way filled. I even ordered extra dressing (and paid extra btw) and even though I received 4 containers, they all had barely any dressing in them. Certainly not enough for the entire salad. If anyone from Panera is seeing this, please ask your employees to make sure to actually fill the containers. It's such a disappointment when you get home and realize the mistake.

    David H.

Amazing Turkey & Cheddar. I love that it comes as two snall sandwiches making it easy to eat. ( attach pictures just one of the sandwiches). Americano iced was strong & refreshing. The manager was helpful and went above and beyond. Easy parking on the street in front or a small lot in the rear. Great selection of Breads and Pastries besides soups, sandwiches on all sorts of things..

All good this visit - was able to use my $ 2 off coupon for one of their new sandwiches . They followed my specs and added cucumber and cut in half as requested- bravo !!

    Royce C.

This Panera's got a nicer vibe than the one in Studio City for sure. Ordered a salad and BBQ chicken sandwich. Sandwich was just OK, but I threw some salad in there, and it took it up a notch. Pro tip: mix it up!

First impression: the store itself is really great. They have a fantastic selection of things to try (dry, deli, frozen, snacks, etc) without being overwhelming. Food: ordered three sandwiches - Spicy Dom, Brasato, and Premio. Our little lunch group devoured each one, sharing little pieces of it so we could try all three, but not wanting to give too much away because we wanted it all to ourselves. The bread was the perfect balance of chewy, light, and crispy to hold all the yummy goodness inside. Not sure why some people are complaining about service here, because every single staff person could not have been nicer or more helpful. Cannot wait to go back and try more things!

After checking Yelp it lead me to Domingo's and thier sandwiches looks fantastic on thier website. Domingo's is an Italian grocery store that also serves Italian sandwiches and pizzas. The deli is in the back of the store and you order at the register. I ordered the following sandwiches. SPICY DOM- This was fantastic. The Italian roll was nicely toasted and layered with spicy salame, spicy ham, mortadell, spicy soppressata, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoni and spicy giadiniera spread and Italian dressing. The best way is to eat it freshly made there. We took it to go and the bottom bread got a little soggy but overall a delicious sandwich. HOT CLASSIC MEATBALL- This was for was just ok. The meatballs didn't feel let meatballs at all, more let chunky ground beef. The marinara sauce was good. FYI there's a little wait when after ordering your sandwiches so be patient. I waited about 10-15 minutes for my sandwich since there was one person ahead of me. Until my next visit.

It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

The family vibe is very present and the impressive bulletin board (Cricca's Community) really brings out the neighborhood feel of the place. It's better than the yellow pages, offering everything from handyman services and guitar lessons, to divorce attorneys and mobile RV repair. But I digress. Did I mention how massive the sandwiches are?! I went with the two most popular items on the menu, starting off with the Al Capone (hot Pastrami, double meat, on crusty bread). This is an excellent sandwich, and the meat is pretty lean - not a lot of fat). I also ordered the Godfather (cold Italian Sub - Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham, Capocollo, Salami, Pepperoni, Swiss Cheese and Provolone). Also, delicious. You rarely get turkey and roast beef in an Italian sub - so good. The service was very friendly and helpful. There are a few indoor tables, in case you can't wait for that first bite. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often; I would be here all the time. Definitely one of the best sandwiches in LA. If you haven't been to Cricca's, then you don't know sandwiches.
