It materialized as a dainty sourdough thimble, capable of holding precisely three spoonfuls before collapsing into structural despair. He ate the "bowl" itself in quiet resignation; it tasted like regret baked at 350°F. For the price, we could have purchased an entire week's produce section, yet this meal left us both foraging the car for stray pretzels like urbane raccoons. The staff were nice, warm, efficient, and clearly innocent in this corporate theater of the absurd. The true culprit is upstairs, counting our greens while serving us air. BUT... when I paid $131+ for a year of "Sip Club" it was so I could get COFFEE, and not just your terrible-tasting Hazelnut Sludge. I guess the Light Roast is most popular, that's why you stop making it in the morning and gradually work your way down to the Hazelnut which I doubt ANYBODY prefers. Ok first of all THIS PLACE SMELLS LIKE A SMOKERS HOME. Every time I enter, it just REEKS. I'm not sure how they haven't removed that smell. Food is bland, tastes like glorified school cafeteria food, the bread is hard as a rock, and the prices are not worth what you get. The only thing I recommend here is the broccoli and cheese soup. Everything else sucks. The refreshers are also not worth getting either, so if you go stick to the fountain drinks. Service is just fine though the staff members are nice as they have nothing to do with the way the food taste as it's just a chain corporation. read more

Yesterday we called in a To Go Rapid pick up order of 1/2 Sandwich & Soup. 1. The order was delayed past the time promised and upon getting to the car the bag was really light so I checked our order & THANK GOD I did. 2. The toasted caprese was the thinnest sandwich I ever saw, 3 small slivers of tomato the size of a thumb nail & 2 sprinkles of lettuce/basil. 3. Soup was full about 1" high in the container I walked into the Counter and the Manager confirmed that is how their items come, did I want a refund. YES, I want a refund and will NEVER return again. I've seen a few recent reviews with similar issues but had always had good results when bringing it to attention of Staff. I'm assuming they rip people off with their food I paid $23 for the group soup and it was only enough for 2 people as I said the bread was very hard it was thrown in the trash. Hostess rudely asked me to 'move out of the way' at the counter; another customer service worker could not understand how to use an 'ap' on my phone that had my Panera card number on it, she asked the manger for help where he ignored her. Ate here twice this week. Got the Pick-2 on both occasion and thought the food was very good. Soup was hot and meal fresh.

Located on Battlefield, it's a relatively new building with plenty of parking. Easy access to the building, with some parking adjacent to the door. We ordered online and went to pick it up. We got there about five minutes before it was supposed to be ready. The cashier asked if we had the online order, and said it would be ready in five minutes. They really seem to know their preparation times. The bacon egg and cheese biscuits were pretty good. The ciabatta was better than the bagel, but that was partly personal preference. The place is clean and the staff seems to have the process down well. read more

Just not the same as it used to be. Tuna sandwich used to come on a delicious homemade grain bread. It was on a Chebalta type roll today. Rubbery. Just not good. No cucumber, no onions, no more sprouts. Just lettuce and tomato. The chocolate frozen coffee drink just tasted like chocolate milk. No coffee. The cashier at the register was grumpy. I just went to their website, and it was down for maintenance. All I wanted was to see if they were still open. It seems since the pandemic that their dining room doesn't stay open as late as it used to. Disappointing to us, as we are late diners. And, of course, the food prices are ridiculous. Very clean and friendly restaurant! Service was very quick for a Saturday! The staff answered all our questions and were super duper friendly. Our food was fast and fresh -- so nice and a great change. Fast food is usually like fast food. Not here though! Bakery items were so delicious. Try their kitchen sink cookie or their extremely chocolatey brownie! Their new promotional blood orange frozen drink was really a perfect touch for a hot summer day. NOTE! Every year around Christmas time that same green card arrives, with greetings from my uncle and a gift card to Panera inside. And my sisters and I all gather into a cozy booth (or two) to nosh and play catch up over some sandwich-type food. The Mediterranean Veggie is always my go-to pick. I know, I know, reviewing chain restaurants is silly buuuut I really liked this Panera! I haven't been in a while, so I was blown away by the expanded menu-- there was a delicious steak salad that made my day! The place was clean, the staff friendly, and I liked the way they set up the lines: order, grab your drink at the next station, and by the time you had your drink your food was up at the end to pick up! The seats were comfortable, the lighting nice, and the bathrooms were clean. We came through on our way to Nashville and I'm glad we went out of our way to eat here. read more

I wish I got here more often but it's just too far away and simply don't get here very often. This place is always crowded though. It's quite popular but doesn't seem to affect the service much. I like the fireplace inside and there are some really good places to sit and get some work done if you're into that. I just used the express ordering on the app and it worked pretty good. Looks like this Panera was also hit by the bad recipe update that ruined the cinnamon scone - my #1 item on the dessert menu. The formerly nice - fresh pastry has been updated in recipe to include a thick overly sweet frosting which gives a once excellent dessert a cheap kid's treat sugary taste. Still great atmosphere / environment at panera, baguettes and soups I eat still are great, but when I think of Panera, I think of dessert / pastries in addition to the environment. This used to be our go-to Panera bread, and we've given them several chances lately to redeem themselves, but I just can't do it anymore. Every salad I've ordered to-go for the past 6 months has had something wrong with it, be it ridiculously small portions or wilted lettuce that was so far the opposite of fresh I had to toss it. The last sandwich I ordered had one good half and the other, I kid you not, had a tablespoon of chicken salad on it. I honestly thought it was a joke and started laughing, until I realized it wasn't, and someone behind the counter must have thought "yeah, that's good enough." Honestly the WORST Panera Bread I've been to and I'm a "frequent flyer" of Panera. Nothing like being on the road driving for 8hrs needing you stop for food, to have HORRIBLE service and the food did not taste the way it usually does.
