Closer to 3.5 stars. In the last 6 months, I've been here for more than the previous many years combined. They share a parking lot with a few other restaurants and a hotel so parking should be a snap. They have about 4 touch screen ordering kiosks when you walk in the front entrance, or you can order at the counter like the old fashioned way. I find ordering at the touch screen easier as I can take my time to browse the menu and customize my order as I need it to be. My go to favorite is the Pick Two, which I usually chose a salad and soup, or a soup and sandwich. I usually order the Tomato soup, but just today their batch was too salty for my taste. Ordering and picking up your order is really as straightforward as it can be. As far as seating, they have a nice mixture of different seating types, such as booths, small tables, larger tables. I come here once in a while because I have the drink subscription. I ordered the drinks on the app. Then I just have to go inside, grab a cup, and fill it up myself. I literally don't have to talk to any of the staff or get asked anything so I don't have any comment on service. The drinks are okay. Clean inside and outside and the food is tasty and consistent. The big thing to note for people that frequent this Panera is the portions have shrank during the past 2-3 years. The salads and soups are smaller now then they were before. My go-tos are the salad, soup, and smoothie. They are not heavy and great for a light lunch. Once they called out my name again all the "cooks" stared back at me like if I did something wrong. I go back to my car and opened it. This Panera has consistently left items out of my orders and forgotten basics like bread or chips, but it's been difficult to stop ordering entirely because my kids love their mac and cheese. Unfortunately, I think I've finally hit my breaking point. Today I was served a Frontega Chicken sandwich that tasted entirely like dishwashing detergent. There is a reason why this location has such subpar reviews. The customer service here is horrid. How can an order of a simple hot water and tea bag be so troublesome?? I placed an order for a hot tea on the mobile app and arrived on time to pick it up. I didn't see the tea on the counter so I stood nearby waiting. 10 minutes later, and my tea was still not available. I finally checked on my order and the woman behind the counter looked annoyed that she had to help me. She wouldn't even stop her walk, so I had to yell across the counter as she walked away. She came back and said they didn't have my order. I told her I have the order confirmation and order number, but she just kept saying she didn't have it and didn't offer any other solutions. Just stared at me. I asked her multiple times "What do you want me to do? I have the order number, do you want it?" But frankly, she didn't care. This went back and forth for a few minutes until she finally begrudgingly got me a cup for the tea. This whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Order the family meals a few times for lunch. I feel like I am getting a better deal than ordering ala carte as I get a whole french baguette and I can add 4 chocolate chip cookies for only $4 more. My favorite sandwich is the Frontega chicken. I've also tried the Bacon Turkey Bravo (good), Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT (good), Steak & White Cheddar (Yuk, very dry!) and Teriyaki Chicken (BAD! seasonal item, don't see this on the menu anymore). The chicken noodle soup is good, just slightly salty. Order was always ready quickly and made accurately when I order and pay through the app. I also tried the unlimited coffee subscription for $8.99 a month. There is a limit of 1 order every 2 hours so it's not really unlimited. It was worth trying for a month since it was so cheap. If a Panera was closer to me maybe I would continue but since it is a bit out of the way for me I wouldn't get it again. I found the coffee to be inconsistent. We asked for Three Macaroni and Cheese and the cashier did not ask for any plate sizes or and sides so when we received the food one was large and the other two where small. We finished eating and I was still a little hungry after I only ate a small Mac and Cheese we asked for Three Chocolate Chip Cookies one oatmeal cookie and one m&m cookie. Probably my third visit ever to Panera Bread and I thought the experience was pretty decent. I walked in and decided to try ordering on the self-service ordering pads. No issues ordering as the menu was clear and usage was intuitive. Swipe my credit card and done. Pretty easy. There were two of us having lunch. Sat down and found the overhead vents blasting cold air right at us. Tried the counter tables and the same thing. Moved to another table in the corner next to a sunny window ... better. This was my first time at this branch of Panera Bread and I was seriously shocked with the quality of their bread . The piece that came with my salad was soft and almost tasted old. The croutons were just as disappointing. The Thai salad was ok albeit the dressing tasted stale so I threw it out. The sandwich bread was equally bad so I only ate the fillings. However our turkey chili and French onion soup were delicious and nice and hot. Considering it is call Bread, I am shocked with the quality that I got today .
