This is my go to for ordering pizza. Pick up or delivery options. One of my favorites is to order extra cheese. Cruz is perfect not too thin and not too thick. I've never eaten in the restaurants but they have ample room. Parking can be hard since it's on a busy street but I've been pretty lucky when I've picked up a pie. Great service as well. read more

Best pizza in San Mateo For years we been eating pizza from this place. We always order delivery. Review based on the pepperoni pizza we get only , Cheese on pizza is so good , we always order an XL because we love having left overs from this place when we reheat it comes out like if it was freshly delivered. Tasty food, good pizza, and some of the best French fries in the area -- seriously! (IMO) They've got a two-slice and drink deal, great for a quick snack/meal. And, their staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Went a couple of times and will continue to do so... unless they change their fries. (^_^) read more

Ordered a late night pepperoni pie after a long day at a car show, picked it up 15 minutes before closing and still got stellar service. This place is really close to our place. I have tried Seniore's a long time ago near inner richmond and remember that it was pretty good, so yesterday we decided to give it another try. 1. Service: they were really quick; from the online ordering to pick up it only takes around 10-20ish minutes. The store itself is not that big, but it doesn't matter because we were picking up for to go. 2. Food: they're really good! Crispy crust yet still chewy on the inside (in a good way). I absolutely love the fresh tomatoes in the special pizza but not a big fan of the peppers but still amazing. Jalapeno poppers is okay- glad they're not using pickled peppers and its really crunchy. read more

The sausage and mushroom was a nice size and ready fairly quick. I've been to their Berkeley location but first time at the San Mateo. Not the most friendly but does the job. Went to route 92 bar and smelled Seniores pizza mmm so good. Kept it in mind for a future pizza order. Typically we order thin crust pizza with unusual toppings. This night husband was out and the boys and I wanted straight forward pizza with a thicker crust. Seniore's! Placed our order on a Friday night and expected a huge wait. Ordered a small pineapple and ham pizza and a medium pepperoni for the kids online and the wait was quoted 40minutea - sounds good - 30min urea later the pizza shows up! Pizza tasted exactly as expected, no surprises, thicker crust but not too thick. Thoroughly enjoyed both pizzas, definitely ate to much over the course of the night lol. I'm so happy to find a good quality pizza that is not trying to be anything other than straight forward good pizza. I have since heard that their hamburgers are good. What? Back ON my FOMO list lol read more

We ordered delivery tonight, as we like the seniores special pizza. The person on the phone gave an estimated time of 45 minutes, which was fine. 50 minutes later, I called and was told that the order would be another 10-15 minutes as they were very busy. 30 minutes later the pizza finally arrived and was cold. We asked why the pizza was cold and the driver rudely states that it is cold outside. We received cold service, cold and late pizza, and a bad taste in our mouth from what we consider a good pizza place. We will not be using Seniores again! read more

My favorite pizza of all time is a combo pizza from round table on gallery blvd in Daly City. That specific location as they kept their taste consistent for 25+ years that I've been eating. Seniores, on the other hand, is a reliable place for pizza. Decent price with a better than average taste. Usual slices I get are anything with garlic lol. What you need to get is their Seniores Sauce. It's a pinkish sauce that packs a mini kick of spice ( not much to me since I have high tolerance for spice). It's a cold sauce, so taking a bite of a hot, fresh out of the oven, and crispy slice of pizza with the sauce is immaculate. Chefs kissing you all right now.... read more

We got 5 X-large pizzas for a birthday party and they were so good! The cheese was enough to surround all the toppings but not overwhelming with just the right amount of sauce and a ton of toppings. Will definitely order more in the future! read more

I am posting specific to the fried Oreos- I ordered thru an App called slice and first they delivered the wrong pizza but they fix that but when I told them the fried Oreo was nothing like on the pic- soggy and no powdered sugar - they refused to fix it. Extremely disappointed in this Seniore's Pizza location. Do not support this business, they are crooks. My brother accidentally ordered pizza from this location when he meant to order it from a different location. He called to cancel the order & they told him that he could not cancel it because they already made it. This is 100% understandable; so my brother called me because I live in San Mateo and he told me I should go pick up the order since he already paid for it. The manager (or owner, not sure) of this restaurant told me when I arrived that they went ahead and cancelled his order and that the refund will take "3-4 days" to process. I asked him multiple times to clarify that my brother would be getting a refund and he repeatedly say yes. Then he proceeds to offer me my brother's order for half off. Stupid me thinking this was a good deal and nice of him to offer, accepted it AND tipped the damn guy. 3-4 days later, no refund was issued. My brother called his CC company and I called Seniore's who gave us the run around saying that the CC company is responsible for giving us our money back, and not them. Meanwhile the CC company is telling us that Seniore's never issued the refund. My brother and I often order from here, but going forward we will never be supporting this business again. They lost two regular customers that order plenty of food to feed our families. Penny wise, dollar foolish. It's unfortunate to have to be a part of shady business practice, and it's even more embarrassing that I had to pay for food that my brother already paid them for. If you read this entire review, I hope that you choose somewhere else for your pizza! People like this business manager/owner don't deserve to run a business. read more

I've said it before and I'll say it again... the BEST pizza!! You get better than what you pay for! If a regular degular pepperoni pizza ain't good at a pizzeria l, then it ain't it! This place always hits the spot and their customer service matches! My family and I have been going here for years. This is definitely my go to spot for pizza. They have quite a few pizza selections, pasta, salads, and other items. I really like their dinner special cuz I like the garlic bread. I usually get the Hawaiian or garlic chicken pizza. There are times I get their other pizzas but those two are my go to's. They have numerous locations and it's good that they do by the slice as well if I am by myself. They always have deals, so that is kind of nice. They are also open late so that's a super plus for those that happen to work late or after the night spots! read more

Limited to a delivery order, but based on the quality of the pizza and the excellent service, I highly recommend Seniore's Pizza. We ordered a Seniore's Special and a couple of make your owns. Everyone was very happy with what they got. The Seniore's Special is fabulous. Even the front desk staff commented as I picked up our order that Seniore's is quick and it is quality. Good pizza. If you are going to order through slice, do not trust the delivery time. The pizza came 20 minutes before the ETA. My husband was not home when it arrived 20 minutes early and so they kept the pizza and the money. He was home when the delivery was supposed to happen. I called and the guy who answered the phone said he tried to call 4 times. But my husband only had 1 missed call. Why didn't the driver leave the pizza at the front office? Or outside the front door!? He just took the pizza. Actually , isn't that stealing? Paying for something and then they just take it back? And my husband had to still pay for it. How is that fair? read more

Next for us was "what da duck" ($44) garlic noodle with duck, which was something I wasn't thinking too much about because garlic noodles are just garlic noodles, but this dish paired with the duck and sauce blew me out of the park. The duck was so nice and tender and the garlic noodles were perfectly al dente. Lastly the SeaZilla ($125), it came with a variety of seafood items such as abalone, softshell crab, lobster, and more. It is combined on top with a banh canh base of lobster roe broth. Overall I loved the fresh seafood that was in the dish and the broth. I think it is a dish to splurge and try on once. Overall the service was amazing, all the staff were attentive even when they heard my chopsticks drop. They heard and reassured me that they will get me another pair!

is it possible to give minus stars to a place like this???? long story short, customer beware. this place, store manager "david" (if that is his real name) all the way to the "brothers" who own it, are a complete insult. if you have a legit complaint about a take out pizza, you are blocked from contact with the owner and are not given any small satisfaction. know that you will need a microscope and the fingers only to count the number of pepperoni hidden in a thin crust that is neither thin nor crispy in any way. and a medium one topping is an unjustified $19.38, for which you are not given a receipt for cash. you will notice there are zero females employed here, and zero seniors. you know who i am and why i am yelping you, so call me and do right and i will give you the credit that you refuse me. this place is an insult to me as a customer, a woman, a local and a senior citizen. btw, they say they don't care what you do, you get no notice for customer service complaints, and they tell you that you can wait all night long for all they care but they will not let you talk to the owner. maybe they can tell that to the labor board when they stop by to check them about hiring practices which smack, and other biz license type inspectors. no cash receipts? fine. bud - call me and let's act like the neighbors that we are? you can thank david for this yelp, but i'm sure it's a trickle down effect. I was on the hunt for some deep dish pizza, so I did a Google search, this place appeared, saw a few google reviews but it was a picture of a deep dish pizza that sold me! I placed my order instantly online which was so awesome doing! Prices are great, the delivery man was a sweetheart, and they package my pizza with love! I'm sold on this place. You can order whatever you want really! The other day I brought in some raviolis with my friends and asked the guys if they can deep fry them for me! They said of course, no problem. They were very delicious. Beyond that their pizza and burgers are great. Also DO NOT pass up on their cheesy bread, you can put whatever toppings you want on it! Last night we went with our friends for an early casual dinner. What a great find! It's a tiny place but plenty of tables to eat in plus they do a good take out and delivery business. Nothing fancy, very basic but the food is excellent and the service is fantastic. They have different sizes of pizzas which I loved. I had the 8" personal pan BBQ chicken. Crust is thin and delicious, toppings were fresh. Hubby had the same size but a different kind and loved it. One of our friends is not a pizza guy so much so he had the meatball sandwich and ate every crumb! He said it was messy and delicious! My girlfriend had the 8" margherita and loved it. The owner took care of us, was super nice and also told me how he makes the sauces himself. We will definitely be back (especially after I get my nails done ). Hungry for pizza? Go eat there!!
