Salad and sandwich time
Angela P.

What a tasty dinner! I wanted something light so we stopped at this location. I ordered the 1/2 goddess salad and 1/2 grilled chicken BLT. The salad was good except for having too much dressing. Regardless, I liked it. The sandwich was also good. What I liked best was the service. The cashier was friendly and greeted us with a smile. The food preparers were also friendly. We dined in and enjoyed quiet and relaxing music. I like this location and will be back.

Came here on a Thursday night at 5:30 pm. Placed our order and tried to sit down and all the available tales were dirty. We asked the cashier to clean our table and she said in a moment. In that time she took another order and ran an order out for curbside pickup. Then she finally cleaned our table. All the available tables are dirty in here and they are supposed to be sanitizing them in between visits. The employee calling out the orders is screaming way too loud when an order is ready! The food was good and we got everything we ordered.

Fuji Apple Chicken Salad......they didn't put any pecans...which shoulda been included

The restaurant is located in what appeared to be a very safe and affluent area, with plenty of parking available and a nice park nearby that's perfect for a walk after dinner. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but the food was excellent. We especially loved the tuna roll and eel roll. Both tasted incredibly fresh; honestly, it felt like the chef had just caught the fish moments before preparing it. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. One minor complaint was the water. It was served without ice and tasted somewhat bland. I'm not sure if it was heavily filtered or just sitting at room temperature, but it was lukewarm and not particularly refreshing. Our waitress was fantastic: very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the meal. The only service issue we encountered was that the busser cleared one of our plates before we had completely finished eating, which made us feel a little rushed. Overall, it was a great dining experience with outstanding food, excellent service, and a sophisticated atmosphere. While the prices are high, the quality of the sushi makes it well worth considering for a special occasion.

After eating here 7 times now, I can say this place is pretty amazing. It gets better every time we come in. Opening weeks here were pretty rough- huge crowds, service was slow, etc, everything you'd expect from a popular new joint in a town that has needed a sushi restaurant. Every time I have been in since, though, it gets better and better. The waitstaff are now seasoned and can handle busy nights with ease. Bartenders make awesome and unique cocktails. The main draw is the cuisine, though. It's Korean/Japanese fusion. Beyond sushi, they have some exceptional Korean-inspired dishes. Even my super finicky daughters find stuff on the menu they love. My wife and sons love all the sushi, while I like to bounce around and try anything interesting and new. The ambience is super cool, and the servers know their stuff. It's so fantastic to have a place like this in downtown Frankfort. While we love our longtime restaurants, it's great having new stuff to enjoy- especially food as unique and creative as this. 5 well-deserved stars.

Being serious, who knew this place in Tinley Park could be so good. It looks like an unassuming…read moresmall town cafe with a few slots. Darla's claims to be a deli and gaming parlor, but they got rid of a lot of the menu since the last time. Has actual beers and a few premade cookies and stuff to choose from. There's also a few healthy options. A little place on the end of a strip mall. It doesn't look like much, and it isn't really. The inside has a few slots and tables. Also they have a few beers. It's about $2 for bottles of domestics. They have the usual stuff like Miller Lite. As for the food, it made changes to the menu about what is available. It's gotten rid of all the sandwiches, including the Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich. That sucks. It's about $2 for a bag of chips. There's not much in the way of food except some cookies and pastries. Cool place to have some beers and get food. It's unique from most delis because this has slots, so it's also a gaming parlor. The food menu is limited because there's no more of typical deli things, such as sandwiches.
