I'm pleased with the quality of ingredients DICED uses in its bowls. You can choose between a salad base, a grains base, or mix half and half. Customization options are plenty. I had to study the menu for a while before ordering. The staff are friendly and waited patiently for me to make my decisions. They let me sample their dressings to ensure I know which would go well with my bowl. I chose to create my own that would fall about in the middle of their price range. A good bowl is between $13-$17 and is enough for multiple meals. I think I'm getting two or three meals out of mine! DICED is a "fast casual" place. If you've gone through a line at Chipotle or a poke bowl place, DICED follows the same customer traffic flow model. They have healthy drink offerings too. I went today, and first had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone could take my order- there was a large order ahead of me and thats completely fine, but with 3 people working- they should not all have been filling the same order- diversify and serve the people standing in your restaurant- but in those ten minutes I was able to identify dead flies in their shrimp, and then looked up on the wall and saw two roaches there. I get it, its the south, its bug season- but it was more than enough for me to never ever go there again. They lost a good customer today and they will never win me back. Bugs are one thing- but you have to have great pest control, its vital down here and clearly that is being missed. Corporate also has changed the menu and the value continues to decrease. I am super sad because I loved the convenience but I will never step foot in there again.

They are very friendly and work hard to get your order exactly right. My favorite sub is I think #14 the Jersey Devil. It has soooo much meat. The first one I took home I weight it and it was 3lbs. If you go to Subway you are lucky if your sub is half a pound and pretty much costs the same. There is a photo of one on the scale topping out at 2lbs10oz. The subs are so big I always have them quarter them for me and they pretty much make four meals. The most epic thing I did once was order one for a motorcycle trip then I rode straight to the top of Mt. Mitchell where I enjoyed one of these subs. My only beef I have with them...they have a loyalty program. I always get the Jersey Devil which is one of the most expensive subs at $17 (was $13 when they first opened). This is not a problem because it's so much food. So I was in there and went to redeem my free sub and I had my kids and they usually get a small ham sub or a turkey sub which is about $8. I checked out and went on my way but didn't notice until I got home that they redeemed my free sub for $8 instead of the big one!!! Of all the places Ive ever been with loyalty programs they always give you the most expensive one for free....I guess here you have to make a separate order to do that. Felt like my loyalty got taken advantage of. Lesson learned.

We waited 40 FREAKING MINUTES!! for half of our order. It took so long that all of the other food was cold by the time I got it home. It's not cheap either when you're feeding five people, it was around $72 total for cold food. My daughter loves this place but I flat out refuse to feed the family here anymore.

Def go back when I am in the area and taste some of the other food. One major negative, though, I went back about a week later after a long day to get wings again, walked in and there was a one-man band playing on the stage.
