Always happy with the Four cheese soufflé and a bear claw for my husband.

I have never gotten bad service or bad food at this location. Parking lot is small and gets crowded. Husband praises the Carmel Lattes, while I am happy with the soup selection and variety of sandwiches.

This store needs so much help. First, they didn't serve us for 10 minutes because they were chatting in the kitchen. Then they didn't have Mac n cheese...then they didn't have the right bread for the sandwich I ordered.... Someone threw a bottle cap from the kitchen to the waiting line. The screen asked for a tip. A tip for what? I had to get my own drink, I had to pick up my own food, and clean up my own diahes. Then when I selected no tip, the girl yelled to the kitchen and put her hands in a zero shape. Wonder what that means for my food. Right now the activity in the kitchen is so loud. Like a high school lunch room. Uh uh. Nope. I just spent $40. I could have went to Wendy's and had better service and meal.

It's Panera. You know exactly what to expect, which is both a blessing and a curse. The people at the counter are friendly, and the coffee drinks are on par with Starbucks. Some things are reasonably priced and some are overly expensive. I'm partial to the "take two" option, and I usually pick the tomato soup as one option. They will substitute an apple for the side of bread if you ask. This is a hub for a lot of the med students here in Greensburg, so when I'm here, I'm usually here for hours. They're tolerant of table camping and they have reliable WiFi, so that's definitely a perk. A lot of community groups seem to use it as a meeting place as well, so it's not just us students hogging the tables. I find myself here regularly.

A typical Panera, so food wise you should know what to expect: higher end fast food items with a "healthier" label. The staff are very friendly and pretty efficient at cleaning off the tables, balancing the front counter and cleaning up spills. This Panera gets very very VERY busy, and often times I find it hard to find a seat because it is such a hub in the community that local college students, business workers, and the elderly meet there and spend a lot of hang-out time even after they finished their meal. Obviously, Panera can't necessarily deter this because it is the image that they promote of themselves. My only suggestion is to get take out or try to go during odd times of the day. Panera also offers an ordering service, however I'm not sure if I trust it quite yet. A classmate that works there told me that they just make the order an put it on a shelf and hope the appropriate person picks it up. So I'd say take that risk if you'd like.

Note the Avocado seed skin on the Tomato.

The food is good. Some choices I would never thought to put together but I'm glad they did.

I love Panera but this location is NOT good. Full 20 minute wait for my food. Bakery had nothing left.

Panera in Greensburg has gone downhill. Food is mediocre and priced too high for what you get.

I like that the nutritional information is available on the menu, but I will not spend $10 for a bowl of soup.

Love Panera. Live the spinach artichoke soufflé. Asiago cheese bagels are great too. Decent prices and very good food.

Since then we come here for special occasions (I am quite picky and this is on my top 5 list) and when we realize it's been a while and are looking for consistently good food. I always order the Romano Chicken which comes with Risotto that I would love the recipe for. My husband usually goes with the Chicken parm which could feed a small army or one of their specials. Always come home with a bag of leftovers which are just as good the next day. Prices I feel are fair for the caliper of food they serve. Would highly recommend

Eventually I had to go to the hostess and let her know that we'd been sitting there the entire time without even being offered water. She did go inquire after our server, who then came over and took our order. So already our experience was tainted. Things seemed fine after that, but once we finished our meal we ordered dessert to go. The server brought boxes for our leftovers, took the dessert order, and then disappeared. Our party of five had to leave, and I was left sitting at the table with a toddler about 15 minutes after the meal ended waiting for the check. She eventually returned and apologized, saying she couldn't find the cake we ordered and had to go look for it. She then asked if we wanted bags for our to-go containers, after everything had already been packed up. Normally, the containers and bag are brought to the table together for leftovers. The last thing we wanted to do was wait another 10 minutes for bags for our leftovers. Overall, the experience was frustrating and poorly handled.

Menu items include French toast, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, sandwiches, salads, soups, and non-alcoholic beverages. My husband and I ate breakfast here one time. An employee promptly and kindly greeted us, seated us, took our order, and brought out our foods and drinks. I ordered the 14-inch buttermilk pancake with triple berries on top, and my husband ordered the sausage gravy 'n biscuits with two sunnyside-up eggs. Both foods were significantly larger than what we could fit into our stomachs, and they tasted very good. The total price was $27 with cash or $28 with a credit card plus a tip. We had to pay up front at the cash register, not at our table. Note that a free parking lot is behind the building.

We were able to be seated without a wait however, and the service here is top notch. The wait staff hustles and takes care of everyone, regardless if you are at their table or not. Refilling coffee, water, asking if we needed anything, etc. I ordered the Popeye omelette (with spinach and feta) and I added on ham. I enjoyed it very much. Toast is extra, but the prices are reasonable for everything and portion sizes are sufficient. My daughter had a breakfast with hash browns and said they were cold, unfortunately. That is the only negative thing I can say. The restaurant and ladies room were both very clean. The walls are adorned with lots of funny farmhouse signs. the whole place is very country themed . You can tell it is a favorite local breakfast spot and if you live in Westmoreland County you should definitely have breakfast or lunch here!

We were so entertained by the entire experience. Some folks might find it off-putting but we were just anticipating our next laugh for each interaction. This place is by reservation only. Do not attempt to walk-in and be served. Not only do you have to reserve in advance but you must also specify what your dinners are earlier in the day to ensure they have the necessary ingredients to prepare the food. That said, everything was absolutely delicious! We started with sautéed sweet peppers with cheese and then the house salad which was brought to us family style. Dinner was chicken Marsala and chicken parm. Each came with a side of pasta. Another diner had shrimp scampi over pasta. Plates, glasses are mismatched. But if you appreciate crabby Italian ladies with a sharp sense of humor (and the ability to make amazing food), you'll love it here. They were especially sweet with my kids, and I'd absolutely go back next time with a reservation in hand.
