OK, nothing brag about. But I really enjoyed the food for some reason. It takes a little bit over there.

We tried their popular hot and spicy chicken with fried rice. We also got steak and pepper with lomein. I think their lomein noodles taste better than the fried rice in my opinion. The chicken def had flavor and it's hard to find decent Chinese take out now days in Connecticut. We will be back !

They have been aat the same location over 18 years. The sweet lady at behind the front desk cracked me up she has great customer service and she is very friendly. I wanted shrimp fried rice without carrots & peas, she said nope rice prepared ahead of time. I asked for extra shrimp no extra shrimp. I asked for extra veggies In my veggie lomein. She stated that her chef not making any exceptions. I was so tickled by her saying no to me. My sister found it extremely funny as I'm very specific about how I like my food prepared. My sister response was someone said no to you, lol. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable and ambiance is cozy. If you're ever in downtown Hartford please stop into Saigon Kitchen and try their infamous hot and spicy chicken. To all my Yelpers let's continue to eat our way through the world #Foodie4life.

I went to place my order and wanted the mi ga (Sunday only) but it seemed like they weren't making it! It was fine, I ended up getting the standard beef pho and a Thai tea. My drink came out instantly and the pho very soon after. No wonder this place is so popular! It was well seasoned, beef well cooked, and delicious! Perfect for a cooler wet day! The servers were very fast and efficient, and the clientele seemed like all regulars that came here often to enjoy pho. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in the Hartford area! There was no line (I was there close to 2, after the usual rush) and unfortunately the truck was out of my first choice, the roasted pork sandwich with pulled slow-roasted pork shoulder, Bermuda onion, Gruyere cheese, and natural garlic jus, pressed on grilled country white bread with a side of sweet & hot Wickles Pickles. Whew! Definitely high on the list for my next visit. I ended up ordering one of the specials, a grilled portopbello mushroom wrap with garlic extra virgin olive oil and balsamic dressing, feta, tomatoes, bermuda onions, organic greens, scallions, shredded Gruyere in a warm herb/garlic wrap. The sweet, tangy dressing, uber fresh veggies and garlicky goodness completely made my afternoon. I topped the meal off with a homemade Reese's brownie - and come on - what's not to love about that? At least I shared with Nick, who was off ordering at the Thai truck. Glad to see these guys out milling around the park. $6.75 for most sandwiches (not bad), and they're pretty sizeable and hearty. Can't wait to come back!
