A consistently solid Panera Bread experience. Really enjoyed the limited time FRENCH DIPPER sandwich, especially the french onion soup like dip. Small point, the sandwich just fits into the dipping cup which is probably industry standard size. But if had a little more room would make partial dipping an option. Every Panera seems to have it's own floor layout but a unifying theme. I like that little bit of variety. This one has different chamber like segments which makes it feel a bit like a vacay getaway, lodgy. The front if the store has plenty of sunlight, great in the late fall to winter. Supplements the warmth of a coffee or soup. And the back portions are more shaded. The food is Panera good. There was a little confusion in explanation to us of the current promotions, which seemed simple enough to me. So possibly a little bit on explaining would be of benefit. Overall a good experience to include with the staff. This Panera sits well in the middle of this Kernersville shopping strip. Conveniently located well off Main Street and near SALEM PARKWAY US421. Close to other commerce.

Gave it another shot. The customer service was better. The food was decent. The cleanliness was poor. The store needs a serious power wash. One or more of the tea/lemonade dispensers was leaking quite a bit. The puddle that had formed on the counter and continued to the floor was huge. It has obviously been happening for quite a while because the black mold that was all over the floor and wall was thick. The baseboard has also pulled away from the wall due to the amount of liquid that runs down it. The floor was sticky and dirty. We stopped in BEFORE the dinner crowd and the place was a mess. Not acceptable. It was once upon a time one of the better stores around... not now.

Thanks for really practicing social distancing. The drink machines where one fills and refills using the same cup are compromised. Other than that and the closeness of outdoor seating, I felt Panera was doing their part to keep guests safe. We ate inside and tables are clearly marked to maintain space. We were hungry for salads and Panera is a go to for a variety of filling healthy salads. The green goddess Cobb and Asian were our choices. They did not disappoint! I went full-size, someone else in our party did the half size with a half salad and another was satisfied with just half-size salad. All varieties come with choice of side bread or chips. Next time, I will try the flatbreads. Generous serving size (enough for a second lunch or share with a friend). They looked delicious!

Ordered from Panera today through Uber Eats. Service was very quick; delivered ahead of estimated time. I ordered the chicken and wild mushroom soup and it arrived still nice and hot! Also ordered the half smokehouse bbq chicken. It arrived warm and freshly wrapped. The only thing -it looks smaller than it used to be which I wasn't crazy about especially since prices have increased a bit. The taste is still good; however. Overall always enjoy this meal especially the warm delicious soup! The 4 rather than 5 is due to the price increases and what appears to be smaller portion for the sandwich.

Panera's boast they serve clean food. The menu is pretty basic with sandwiches and wraps, salads, soups, bagels, and pastries. Tasty but nothing to write home about. The beverage items are plentiful. The coffee bar, lemonade and tea offer enough for any discriminating foodie. The Kernersville location was quick when I ordered. The cashier who took my order was helpful by suggesting the combo. The reason I rated a 3 was due to the taste or lack of taste of my combo as well as the dining area was dirty. The floors needed to be cleaned and the tables wiped.

The bagel I ordered along with my yogurt I didn't get.

We were in the mood for some "fancy" burgers, and given what they do here at Sammy's (and that we had never been) decided to go for it. We both left wishing we had gone to one of several other known quantities in the area that also have some creative burgers. We both ordered the 2 slider combo, one of us went with two burger sliders, the other did a burger and chicken tender slider. One of us got fries, the other upgraded to onion rings. We also added on an all the way hot dog, because I can't help myself but try them wherever I go. Service at the counter was helpful, and the restaurant pretty clean. Drinks are self-serve in somewhat of a tight area for people moving through. They give you a number and bring the food to your table when ready. When the meal arrived, just visually, we were not excited by anything... except the hot dog. We'll start there, the brightest spot of the meal. The bun was clearly buttered and griddled, and biting in, you get a tasty frank, balanced chili and slaw, just enough onions and mustard. If I were to return, it would probably be for hot dogs. All three slider burgers were dry as a bone. They did not at all give the appearance of a burger that was griddled to order. The bacon cheeseburger did not come with any kind of sauce, to make that edible, we added some ranch that came with the onion rings. The buffalo chicken tender slider was quite bland for buffalo style, and soggy. The fries were good, but the onion rings were not. I don't think the oil was hot enough, so not only were they mealy and not crispy, they were just so oily that it made them unappealing. Given what we paid, and compared to other burgers in the area, I don't see us coming back.

I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. It's not to be confused with Fig and Olive Cafe in Greensboro. Fig & Olive is new to Stock + Grain. It opened last month, July 2025. Stock + Grain opened in early 2022. The food hall has really filled in since then. We visited for dinner before a Carolina Core soccer game and the place was packed. My wife and I were drawn to Fig & Olive's menu. We wanted something light and relatively healthy. They sell sandwiches and bowls, priced at $11 to $18.50 each. We both got the Portofino Bowl for $16.50 each. It comes with baby arugula, soppressata, bresaola, marinated artichoke hearts, shaved pecorino romano, fresh lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. The bowls/salads were presented nicely. One of our friends commented that they looked "delightful." Unfortunately, the bowls looked better than they tasted. They were unbalanced and hard to enjoy. We were unable to finish them. While the portion sizes were decent, I was working/chewing through a lot of dense, cured meat. There wasn't any dressing except for the EVOO (which I'm not sure we even noticed) and some lemon wedges. Overall, the bowls weren't that flavorful. They felt incomplete. The quality of the ingredients was fine, though. They give you a pager so you know when to pick up your order. When I went to pick up our bowls, they made a mistake and only prepared one bowl instead of two. I let them know and later, the cashier brought my bowl directly to where we were sitting. She was polite and apologetic. No big deal to me. It looked like there were only two people working and they were busy. Given how new this place is and the appealing menu, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Maybe they were still working some kinks out and/or we ordered the wrong thing. Fig & Olive is certainly a nice addition to Stock + Grain's lineup. According to Fig & Olive's page on Stock + Grain's website, the business is "a social enterprise" of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC's Providence program where "all efforts and profits support workforce development programs." It's in that same TGI Friday's/Ruby Tuesday/Applebees tier, yet its full parking lot suggests brisk business. The location - it sits on a busy stretch of 66 - may explain some of that though Sixty Six isn't without other virtues. Spacious and well-staffed, Sixty Six isn't the kind of place where you'll have to wait long to find a table or receive food. It's dark and a bit noisy but not headache-inducingly loud. The menu is decently large, boasting everything from apps and wings to burgers and sandwiches to Tex Mex and pizza. There aren't any real surprises, but there's enough variety to accommodate most diets. For our lunchtime visit, my wife and I split a fried pickles app followed by a jalapeno burger (with sweet potato fries) and a Nashville chicken sandwich (with chips), respectively. Admittedly, the fried pickles didn't make for a very attractive-looking plate. Instead of golden brown pickle chips, there were thicker, lightly battered slices. However, they tasted just fine and paired well with a zesty dipping sauce. Speaking of zesty sauces, the chicken sandwich had it aplenty, and it made for a satisfyingly messy bite. The chips were homemade and rated above average. Unfortunately, Sixty Six overcooks its meats. Under all the sauce, the chicken itself was a bit dry. My wife ordered her burger medium well and received it well beyond well done. As with the chicken, it was still flavorful despite the doneness issues. On food alone, Sixty Six isn't a strong draw, but factor convenience and versatility into the mix, and it becomes a solid lunch option.
