A consistently solid Panera Bread experience. Really enjoyed the limited time FRENCH DIPPER sandwich, especially the french onion soup like dip. Small point, the sandwich just fits into the dipping cup which is probably industry standard size. But if had a little more room would make partial dipping an option. Every Panera seems to have it's own floor layout but a unifying theme. I like that little bit of variety. This one has different chamber like segments which makes it feel a bit like a vacay getaway, lodgy. The front if the store has plenty of sunlight, great in the late fall to winter. Supplements the warmth of a coffee or soup. And the back portions are more shaded. The food is Panera good. There was a little confusion in explanation to us of the current promotions, which seemed simple enough to me. So possibly a little bit on explaining would be of benefit. Overall a good experience to include with the staff. This Panera sits well in the middle of this Kernersville shopping strip. Conveniently located well off Main Street and near SALEM PARKWAY US421. Close to other commerce.

Gave it another shot. The customer service was better. The food was decent. The cleanliness was poor. The store needs a serious power wash. One or more of the tea/lemonade dispensers was leaking quite a bit. The puddle that had formed on the counter and continued to the floor was huge. It has obviously been happening for quite a while because the black mold that was all over the floor and wall was thick. The baseboard has also pulled away from the wall due to the amount of liquid that runs down it. The floor was sticky and dirty. We stopped in BEFORE the dinner crowd and the place was a mess. Not acceptable. It was once upon a time one of the better stores around... not now.

Thanks for really practicing social distancing. The drink machines where one fills and refills using the same cup are compromised. Other than that and the closeness of outdoor seating, I felt Panera was doing their part to keep guests safe. We ate inside and tables are clearly marked to maintain space. We were hungry for salads and Panera is a go to for a variety of filling healthy salads. The green goddess Cobb and Asian were our choices. They did not disappoint! I went full-size, someone else in our party did the half size with a half salad and another was satisfied with just half-size salad. All varieties come with choice of side bread or chips. Next time, I will try the flatbreads. Generous serving size (enough for a second lunch or share with a friend). They looked delicious!

Ordered from Panera today through Uber Eats. Service was very quick; delivered ahead of estimated time. I ordered the chicken and wild mushroom soup and it arrived still nice and hot! Also ordered the half smokehouse bbq chicken. It arrived warm and freshly wrapped. The only thing -it looks smaller than it used to be which I wasn't crazy about especially since prices have increased a bit. The taste is still good; however. Overall always enjoy this meal especially the warm delicious soup! The 4 rather than 5 is due to the price increases and what appears to be smaller portion for the sandwich.

Panera's boast they serve clean food. The menu is pretty basic with sandwiches and wraps, salads, soups, bagels, and pastries. Tasty but nothing to write home about. The beverage items are plentiful. The coffee bar, lemonade and tea offer enough for any discriminating foodie. The Kernersville location was quick when I ordered. The cashier who took my order was helpful by suggesting the combo. The reason I rated a 3 was due to the taste or lack of taste of my combo as well as the dining area was dirty. The floors needed to be cleaned and the tables wiped.

The bagel I ordered along with my yogurt I didn't get.

The chicken salad on a toasted croissant with a side of sweet potato fries was absolutely delicious! The bartender/waitress recommended it out of the 3 options I was torn between. My boyfriend got the BBQ chicken flatbread without onions and the only negative was that he said there was too much cheese. I will say, when they brought it out, it looked more like a pizza as opposed to a thin crusted flatbread. But he said it was good! Overall, nice, clean facility, attentive staff, great food. We will definitely be back!

There were only a couple other tables dining at the time. I got a booth that was spacious and well-lit, which I liked. I got a veggie burger with mac & cheese. The veggie burger was about the same quality as the frozen Morningstar patties I buy at the store. Also the Mac and cheese was box mix quality. My dining companion's food had a significant issue related to the freshness. She may also leave her review, so I don't want to go into it in detail, but I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed as to how hard our server worked to try to make it right. Also, the manager comped that meal, even though we didn't ask for that which was great. I did like their drink specials and would perhaps stop by again for drinks and apps.

The edamame was roasted with salt and garlic and it was oh so delicious. We also got the dumplings - they noted that they were fried, so I was expecting the usual pan fry, but these were deep fried. They were really good! Lots of chicken filling and we liked the sauce that came with it! I got the hibachi shrimp as my entree. The shrimp were bigger than most hibachi places, and had lots of flavor. I will say, my friend and I were both not really a fan of the rice. It was just kind of dry. I added lots of yummy white sauce, and that helped. I love that they have a wider variety and some different items than you'd find at most restaurants like this; they had some Vietnamese and Thai dishes as well. Yoshi certainly excels in variety! I think I'll try the Banh Mi next time. I also love that they have boba!! As I mentioned, the staff here is really great. Our order was accurate and both the gentleman taking our order and the other gentleman working there were extremely welcoming, helpful and attentive.

The person we ordered food from was friendly and seemed very connected with his community. When our food took a little longer to come out, he gave us additional appetizers. When we asked for to-go containers, he added more broth for my husband's ramen and a container of chili oil (which was the best that my husband and I have EVER had. It had a fantastic smoky flavor). We ordered the Yoshi Sampler, the Miso Ramen, and the Drunken Noodles, and the three of us ate til we were full, and we will have enough for leftovers for dinner. The meal was $40 including the tip for the 3 of us. We highly recommend, and we will be returning! Such warm and comforting delicious food!

I really wish Winston Salem had a great Banh Mi available. There are some good Pho restaurants but…read morethey don't serve Banh Mi usually and when they do it's not quite the authentic version I'm looking for. I had the Banh Mi at What Da Pho in the past and remember it was good so that's what I ordered this time. Additionally we ordered crab wontons and summer rolls. The restaurant is a little hidden but if you park in the parking structure adjacent to the restaurant it's super easy to get inside. First impressions are it's quiet- no music in the dining room, and the decor is sort of an afterthought with scotch tape holding LED lights to the walls and some Asian inspired pictures but not very well thought out. It's Ok, I'm not coming for the decor. The service is a little lacking. They are giving the bare minimum here so don't expect your server to be too friendly. The crab wontons and summer rolls arrived quickly. The crab wontons were super hot and crispy right from the deep fryer. They were filled with a delicious imitation crab and cream cheese mixture and when dipped in the sweet chili sauce they were exactly the thing I was craving. The summer rolls were equally as fresh and delicious. The filling of cold rice noodles, crisp lettuce and shrimp then dipped in the accompanying peanut sauce was just as delicious. We ordered one pork and one beef Banh Mi. The first thing I noticed was how plentiful the meat was in each one. Usually it's a light sandwich but these were very hefty in comparison to others I've had. My meat was very savory and had a very tender texture, almost like pot roast. It was also the juiciest pork I've ever had in a Banh mi. The picked vegetables were also really good but both our sandwiches were missing the jalapeno I've come to expect. My husband really enjoyed his beef one as well but we both noticed how the bread lacked that crusty flaky quality that Vietnamese baguettes normally have. This was more of a sub roll with a chewy texture and softer crust. The flavors were great, I just missed the textures I have come to expect in an authentic Banh mi. Our spot in Greensboro will still be my favorite but when I don't want to trek out that far, I can get my fix at What Da Pho.
