It pains me to give such a low rating because the staff on the day shift are always so friendly and polite. Unfortunately after this last visit with yet another encounter of the rude person that is the evening shift manager, there's no other way around it. She always looks mad. Tonight we placed a mobile order that according to the app would take 10 minutes. It was a LARGE Diet Pepsi, along with a chocolate muffie & 2 pumpkin muffins. My husband went in to pick up the order and was waiting for almost 30 minutes only to be told that they were out of the pumpkin muffins, so he chose something else. That in of itself was not a problem but the manager's attitude definitely was. She gave him a regular size cup for him to get the Diet Pepsi from the fountain and when he questioned it, (we are SIP CLUB members so we KNOW what sizes are offered ) her response was "oh that is the large." Seriously? On another occasion when I went in for a drink she looked on and asked, " So we'll be seeing you in another 2 hours then?" Excuse me? We pay a monthly fee for whatever drinks we want. Panera bread, is out of bread how ironic is that. I ordered 3 soups on this cold evening. They don't have baguettes so they offered to substitute Brioche rolls. Once I came to the window they were out of Brioche rolls as well. Great, soup with chips sounds delicious... it really doesn't. I won't be back to this location. They ended up charging for the substitute brioche rolls and I asked if soup comes with baguettes, she said yes then I asked why charge me for a substitute because you're out of baguettes? Poor customer service. I guess it didn't matter because they were also out of Brioche. After all that they charge me for the rolls. Never have had a bad experience at this location. Everyone is super friendly, there's never a wait to order food, and the food is delicious and FRESH. Their drinks are always yummy and their dining area is extremely clean. Although I didn't really see hand sanitizer stations, everyone seems to be complying with mask mandates and following health and safety procedures. The "you-pick-2" deal is also PERFECT as a meal. everything has gotten a little pricey but definitely worth it. Yesterday my husband and I ordered for takeout from Panera I ordered the half tuna sandwich with a cup of soup It was the worst thing I ever ever had! It was on Focaccia bread with no tomato, no onions just lettuce and tuna and bread. I took one bite and ran to the sink to spit it out, the salt content was over the hill and made me sick, I immediately put it down the garbage disposal. My husband also tasted it and agrees with me. Always slow for drive-up, at least a full 10 minute wait. When you try to call to tell them you are there, they don't answer. The portion sizes are significantly smaller than other Panera Bread locations. My salads aren't full to the top but rather half full/empty. They consistently put the wrong dressing in the salad too, which is annoying to come home to. I feel Iike this location gets a lot of things incorrect and has an attitude about it. The manager is also rude. Just a very unfriendly and incoherent staff, sadly. read more

We're trying out this new panera close to home which just opened yesterday 2/4/19. The place is a little bit small compared to other but is neat and well organized. The employees are really nice and well trained with their products. My husband tried the spinach artichoke souffle and tomato soup which he enjoyed. I ordered the breakfast favorite on a sprouted grain and over easy egg. As I was devouring on mine, I felt something cut my throat that hurt. After a few gagging, found out it was an eggshell. Well, I lost my appetite. Of course, I tried to look for a manager which took a while coz they're not visible. I tried to speak to the crews in the counter but there were lines. Nobody was in the pick up area. I told my hubby I will just wait til somebody's free. After few more minutes of waiting, my hubby decided to peek thru the kitchen and found the manager there. Will update the review if the performance improves. 3 of 4 orders wrong; nothing major but inaccurate and annoying - plain onions instead pickled, no bacon sandwich had bacon. "Accuracy Matters" is on their receipts but I don't want to wait around for everyone to get the mistakes fixed while my soup is getting cold. Portions at Menifee seem larger, which is truly odd for this being a chain - still, more than enough food per serving. Ordered at a kiosk using my phone number, no issues. The food was ready reasonably quickly. We ate then went to the counter to get a loaf of bread. Waited 8 minutes for someone to show up, only to not be able to find my Panera account? Strange. The receipt doesn't have a code to get credit on the Panera App either. The manager's explanation: you can only get credit for one order every 4 hours. So I spend $40 on lunch, eat, then spend another $20 on take-out and no credit for that? Not sure if that's a new Panera rule or just something to consider when visiting this location, but I've never had any issues like this at the Menifee/Haun location. The gentleman who had lunch some 4 tables from us left over 30 minutes ago, his plate is still on the table while an employee walked by multiple times. The buzzer that is on the table next to us had been there since before we arrived... That being said, the location is new and pretty and music is great.
