Avo Egg white sand. Almond danish for dessert

First time at Panera 10801 Starkey Road, at the Bardmoor Shopping Center for breakfast this Sunday morning. The quality of the food was good. Good dollar value. Very good front line service. However, not expected from a chain, the place had a very family-like feel to it. Reminded me of stopping by my aunt's house on Sunday after church for a coffee and catch-up visit. FOOD - Avocado Egg white breakfast sandwich on the flat bagel - very good. Overall, the Everything bagel with egg and bacon sandwich was good. But if we're really in the mood for a bagel, we'll go to our favorite local bagel place. Hazelnut coffee was very good. Breakfast dessert; Oatmeal Raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and Almond pastry were all excellent. SERVICE - The front line was Abby and Cheryl. Both very friendly. Cheryl kept telling everyone as they entered "Welcome in!". Very nice. Cheryl, when there was a lull in customers, checked all the coffee pots and milk/creamers and refilled as needed. ATMOSPHERE - Great atmosphere. It really adds alot to the dining experience when it's so evident that so many of the other customers seem to really be enjoying being there. Multi generational, singles, young, older, couples... Heard this morning... Customer to Cheryl, "Thanks s much for the advice. I really appreciate it!" One customer to another "See you next Sunday!"

Vegetarian Baja bowl with Caesar salad and charged lemonade (mixed with some unsweetened iced tea to balance the sweetness). So tasty!!

Friendliness: 5 stars Taste: 5 stars Quality: 5 stars Quantity: 5 stars Efficiency: 3 stars I came in on a rainy afternoon when they were in a small lunch rush. Two registers were going and there was a small line of people. Both register employees killed it with kindness and helpfulness. They were both young though, and didn't seem as familiar with the computer system. I unintentionally threw a wrench in their system by asking a question about the menu (I wish they had full menus available that showed the ingredients in each of the meals so I didn't have to bother the staff). Anderson was so nice and patient in answering my questions. I feel bad because everyone was working so hard and trying their best to keep things together. But there were guests standing around all over the place with questions. One lady didn't get a latte made. I didn't get my drink cup. Another woman didn't know where to pick up her pre-ordered food. Another woman had an issue with the order she ran in to pick up. The oldest employee seemed to be maybe 18, and the rest of the staff was (politely) laughing and goofing around with each other. It's great to see people smiling and enjoying their jobs! It makes me sound old, but it just made me think it would have been helpful to have an adult supervising and making sure things ran more smoothly. I ordered the Vegetarian Baja bowl with Caesar salad and charged lemonade (mixed with some unsweetened iced tea to balance the sweetness). So tasty!! Shout outs to Anderson and Aiden for being so helpful and super friendly!

This place is so unassuming, so ordinary and neighborhoody, yet absolutely perfect. I hate the term…read more"hidden gem," but Stone Soup is a bit like that. The soups, and there are always lots to choose from, are so hearty and taste homemade, but be prepared to take half your food home. Their sandwiches are massive. Had I known better, I would have ordered the half-soup-and-half-sandwich combo. Service was excellent. Parking is easy. If you haven't stopped by yet, be sure you do.

Low key pub, Excellent soup!…read more We found Stone Soup Cafe and Pub, St. Petersburg FL. It's at 42nd Ave., North in a little strip mall facing 16th St. and you really can only see it coming south on 16th St. I'll tell you where it is: about seven streets in and 7 half-streets north from the 30th Avenue North exit off 275. It's just off Haynes Road north, if you know where that is. Lots of parking It has a low-key pub look: dark, unassuming, cozy, lots of wood. Plenty of indoor tables for maybe 40, a full-bar pub on the far side with stools for a couple dozen, and some outdoor seating for about another dozen in a breezy covered hallway between buildings. At 11:30am on a Thursday, it had just opened. There were people there already, and it was packed by 11:45! It got really noisy, in a nice everyone-is-relaxed-here way. This place was new to us, and we knew all that was a good sign. We chose several crafts from about 50 varieties of beer, about a dozen on tap. We love that stuff, but our focus was the soup, and sure enough, the soup was very good! We chose among 4 soups which seemed to change daily, plus sandwiches and salads. The soups were veggie, shrimp corn-chowder/bisque, stuffed pepper soup, and mushroom soup. (Jun 2026). The veggie soup was good with tons of veggies. Several of us got shrimp bisque and liked the flavor a lot! Some got fresh crunchy caesar salad. One got a BST sandwich: "bacon spinach tomato". A nice stack of flavorful bacon, thin, perfectly crisp. Balsamic on the side. Very good! We had some minor thoughts: We expected toast in the BST, but is was bread. Good bread. But not toast. The veggie soup could have done with some zingier spiciness. And though the chowder had a rich savory shrimp flavor, the quote of the night was, "i found a shrimp"! Yeah, none to be seen. This soup was really worth it! Great flavors. Good prices. A nice T-shirt with a big pelican in Hawaiian shirt with a cocktail on the back! But i am giving it only 4-stars because of the missing shrimp. This is Florida! You can get shrimp. But dont be fooled by my whininess. We'll be back!
