I ordered two chai tea lattes, one with almond milk and one regular. When I got my lattes they were not labeled and the barista did not even tell me which one had the almond milk in it. When I went home to finally drink it, I had the regular one (I was supposed to get the almond milk one) and when I contacted my friend who got the other chai, she told me that her's was regular as well. I am a regular customer at the drive thru at this Panera Bread location. I placed my order, tuna sandwich and tomato soup with a baguette, I usually receiving croutons with my tomato soup but this time they were not included so I went inside. I was greeted by Tiffany and i told her what was missing from my order. Tiffany had a great attitude; great customer service just all around nice polite young lady. I also noticed that my my tuna sandwich was very messy and Tiffany proceeded to explain it was due to the bread that was used to make the sandwich so she proceeded to make another sandwich for me with a tip different type of bread. When this location had opened, I was really excited because there would be a panera that was closer to me than the one that is in the Corridor Market Place. Well, after my experience today, I'd rather be making that 10 min extra drive instead. I decided to go to through the drive thru only because it's nice that I don't have to walk in and wait. I ordered something pretty simple (sandwich & salad) and only asked for two extra things. Well, I guess it was a complicated order because I had to repeat myself 2 times. Now I don't mind that because it's pretty hard to multitask sometimes, but to repeat myself 2 times, seriously? It wasn't till the last time that the girl had actually put the order down, I knew that only because it popped up on the screen. I told her the two extras that I had wanted. Also told her I had a "mypanera" card and she told me to do it at the window. So I go up to the window, she doesn't even say hi. She just tells me my total and takes my card and closes the window. I'm just like alright cool...thanks for not asking for my number for gain my points. So she gives me my card and receipt and tells me my order will be out shortly. I wait a little and even double check the the receipt to make sure my order was correct and it was. My order comes up and she just gives it to me and immedtially closed the window. Didn't tell me "have a good day" "thank you, come back again" nothing like that. I checked my bag and everything seemed good. I get back to my home and I go to start getting my salad ready, I had noticed that I didn't get the extra dressing I asked for. I was also missing the other extra thing in my order and napkins. I would have turned around and asked for another order, but honestly...I NEVER wanna go back to that panera again. I don't feel like going through the struggle of dealing with the horrible service. Every time I order food from this location, there's always a problem!! They never get it right and I am officially never going back to this location ever again! First time, the mac and cheese was extremely cold and was served in the tiniest portion. Second time, was given the wrong order at the drive through (after waiting in line for 10 mins). Sometimes I come here he food is cold, the drive thru workers are snappy and my caramel lattes are bitter; other times (like today) my food is hot the service inside was awesome (the girls working inside seem to be a little more friendly) and my latte was perfect so I mean I guess it just depends on who's working that day lol read more

The two stars is for the customer service. Overall, the staff is beyond friendly and I believe that they try their best to give the best service. I've ordered meals using the "rapid" pick-up/ordering service several times. However, I received orders that were wrong at least 4 times this year. The only reason that I give this location a chance is because of the friendly service & location but aside from that I don't think I can deal with anymore incorrect orders. One time, I even went back into the store to get a new sandwich, gave clear directions...I mean the order details was printed on the receipt to begin with. So, I don't how they make so many mistakes. I will also say that they do try to rectify the issue by offering a free item...cool. One time, I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich (granted, I added spinach and tomato). How in the WORLD did they miss the bacon? I'm so confused...especially when I'm ordering from online and the order details/requests are printed CLEAR AS DAY on the receipt! I'm a big fan of Panera Bread and I don't complain even when what I order isn't up to par, but this evening I stopped in and placed an order from the drive-thru as I've done on many occasions at this location and needless to say it was awful for the third time! So much so that I couldn't even eat the Thai Chicken Flatbread because it was DRENCHED in sauce and the container was a third full of the stuff! This Panera location has a drive-thru and although that may sound convenient, it never is. I always have to wait forever and it seems they aren't very organized. Today, for example, they lost my order. I'm giving them two stars because I've never had an awful customer service experience. The experience when going inside is always fine. Honestly, I don't really expect a Panera drive-thru to be anything like fast food-type speed, but you really do have to wait forever here. I hope they get more organized in the future. read more

2nd time this place gets my rapid order wrong. I'm waiting 20 minutes in line for a "rapid order" that I placed 10 min before arriving, and after patiently waiting for 20 min past my pick up time, I finally ask about it and get nothing but a nasty attitude. If you can't handle the lunch time rush hour than maybe you shouldn't work in the food service industry. All I did was ask and you treat me like it's my fault that my order was placed in a bag that had a different name than mine and that's why I didn't know. I'm not just going to take a bag with someone else's name on it. This is the second time that something goes wrong with my rapid order from this location and both times the associates were rude and nasty af. Oh and then when I finally was able to check, my salad was missing the chicken. WTF. You probably didn't even make my order at all and just gave me someone else's order to get rid of me. Was given the run around this a.m. my gift card did not work, and I was told Panera put all cards with no pin on hold??? Given a number and it went to some survey bull crap??? 18665panera. I am pissed to say the least, I called the number on the back of my card and was told that was the first they have heard of a hold and to be honest next time have them call the number on the card while I am in the store. I called back and asked for the GM was told by Edward the person that gave me the number he was the GM???? I love Panera but this new Laurel store is poorly managed and maintained. I have been there three times and never found a table or chairs that have been wiped off for customers. I usually do not write reviews but this Panera bread location is very disappointing. I do like paneras food, and I work right next to this location so it's a convenient place for me to go for lunch but on SEVERAL occasions the service has been horrible. Since I do work right beside Panera I usually go on the app and do the rapid pickup. The rapid pickup states that your order will be ready 10 minutes after ordering. There's been a small amount of times that the food has actually been finished in 10 minutes usually it is closer to 15-20. Either they need to extend the amount of time it takes for rapid pickup or the staff needs to use better time management skills. On another occasion I decided to sit in the cafe and eat for my break. Not only did it take 15 minutes to receive a small macaroni and cheese and a coffee, but when the girl brought my food to my table it was cold... that's not acceptable at all. read more
