I am a big fan of this chain where this particular restaurant is a relatively new business in Manitowoc. It has the typical food and quality that you expect to see from this chain where this store has what appears to be a smaller selection of the typical baked goods you see in the bigger cities. The business itself is very clean and bright with a friendly staff. Its nice to have known good food options when traveling and this restaurant is a nice addition to the Manitowoc area. Another big plus of this particular Panera is its close proximity to Interstate 43 providing easy on and off dining option for those folks traveling or on the go.

New chicken sandwich was awful and dry! Nothing like the photos on the building!

This is what the new chicken sandwich looks like! So dry I had to constantly drink something to get it down and there is tiny bits of fried pickle that might make 1 whole pickle. Super dissatisfied! Was on the road otherwise I would have demanded a new one! I won't be back to any Panera if this is what you get!

I was disappointed that it 9 AM on a Sunday morning The selection of bagels was very slim. The explanation being that the bagel bakers work overnight, and there's no replenishing of the low supply after that. Although I'm sure next week they will allow for the popularity of some of the flavors and make more.

I walked in on a Friday night for a classic MidWest Fish Fry and heard Fat Seagull was one of the best. Right when I walked in I was met with a fun atmosphere full of people both at tables and the bar laughing and just having fun. There is no host stand or designated waiters so just grab an open seat and someone will be with you shortly. I sat at the bar and was greeted within 30 seconds by one of the bartenders, asked what I would like to drink, and was offered a food menu. I ordered a Spotted Cow and Diet Coke to drink then placed a food order of the Combo Fish Fry Plate. The plate included generous pieces of fish (5 total) of Walleye and Perch, slaw, rye bread/butter, fries, and sauces. WOW was the food delicious, I loved the perch and rye bread...I would be very happy with just that! Beyond the food and drink, the people working and eating/drinking were just so nice and fun. Sitting at the bar, I struck up a conversation with a couple different people and to my surprise was met with great conversation. I was visiting Manitowoc for work and found everyone I talked to at the Fat Seagull was so happy to have visitors and welcomed me with open arm. Please make sure to add Fat Seagull to your list when visiting Manitowoc, this is a must see place!

Good variety of food done well. Good service. Good atmosphere. Would definitely go again.read more

The service was fantastic all night. And the food. You get what you pay for, truly. This is a nice spot and the food is drool worthy. It's plated so nicely, everything was cooked to perfection, and they did a great job of complimenting sides with entrees. The cheese curds were also unique and fantastic. If you're in the area and want a dinner you know will be good, this is the spot.

We had the cheese curds for the appetizer and my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the crusted chicken. All of our food was absolutely delicious- served hot, and perfectly seasoned. My husband commented that it tasted like a chef was in the kitchen. Think metropolitan, high-end restaurant quality food! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. The ambience is charming yet fresh and modern. Very clean. I would suggest to dress resort casual or nicer for an evening meal. The service was attentive and welcoming. There is room for a large group. Outside seating is available, but I wouldn't recommend because it is near a busy traffic light which would detract from the experience. Don't hesitate to try the Courthouse Pub for a delicious, memorable meal.
