I ordered the caprese sandwich on focaccia. Picture looks beautiful on the board, very appetizing. When I got the sandwich, very disappointed No cheese- appears to be one slice of mozzarella cheese cut into four slices. When I spoke to the manager, he debated with him and finally said " ma'am, you want another slice of cheese - here it is". He took a slice of cheese and cut it in half. This Panera Bread used to be one of my favorite places about 10 years ago. Back in 2016, it was always busy, warm, and welcoming, with a nice fireplace area where people enjoyed sitting and relaxing. Today, even after the remodeling, the experience is very disappointing. The new carpet is already dirty, I saw cockroaches on the front counter near the register, almost every table was dirty, and the dish return area was overflowing with dirty dishes. The men's restroom smelled terrible--like urine--and there were no paper towels or napkins available. To make matters worse, my order was placed on the pickup counter without anyone calling my name, so it just sat there until I noticed it myself. It's sad to see how much this location has declined. I hope management takes these issues seriously because this used to be a great Panera Bread. read more

I decided to get the mix and match combo but didn't realize that there were only certain sandwiches and salads able to be mixed and matched which I found confusing... because isn't the half and half menu the same thing? Either way I got the apple salad and a focaccia mozzarella sandwich. They were okay, just didn't taste fresh to me. The chicken was pretty tender on the salad though, that was nice! I'd prefer fresh apples though instead of dried apple chips. The cherry limeade wasn't great, it tasted watered down and didn't have that citrusy acidity that limeade would give you, it was more cherry for sure. I did enjoy the potato soup though it was pretty good. And they gave me a free baguette which was nice! But overall Panera is a bit mid now, it used to seem so much more fresh. Ordered 4 items for lunch. Got 3 items. Called and spoke to Andrew, the manager. They were very accommodating and said would make one for me if I would go back and pick it up. It was the steakhouse stuffer. I went back & it was ready for me. When I came home & my husband took one bite, found that there was no meat. We decided to open the sandwich and found NO meat at all. I called again to complain and they insisted that there was meat. When I wanted to bring it back, Andrew the manager hung up on me. This seems like a very poor attitude from a restaurant! The guy at the register a M/B doesn't even acknowledge me for several minute then looks at me and say " I gotta do an order right now ( after 5 minutes of standing there- ill be back...comes back SEVERAL MORE MINUTES LATER and says nothing-just looks at me. This location has workers who don't seem to know how to read instructions on the orders at all! This has been happening for a long time, but I let it slide too many times already. Just in the past week they got my orders wrong twice! I ordered a bread bowl the LARGE size, and they gave me the small size! Then I ordered a sandwich with NO EGG because I cannot eat whole eggs, and they still put a giant chunk of egg! My girlfriend ordered sausage with her sandwich and there is no sausage... I had ordered a chicken salad sandwich and when I got my food, I was informed that they don't have that anymore. The manager made me go to the front of the desk to get my refund and I told him my soup was going to be cold. He did not care. The place was dirty with trays and plates all over the place. I asked the clerk in the front she says you get EVERYTHING in the back when you get your food. This bakery is poorly managed. The portions are always smaller than other locations. I ordered a pick two and received a portion of soup that was filled a little above the middle point. When I asked for a larger serving I was told that that this was a "full" portion. I filled a hot cup container with water and the manger said I couldn't use a "coffee cup" for cold beverages. Huh? Of all the many options, Panera Nanuet is my go-to-favorite. Food is fresh. Place is clean. The managers are friendly and personable. The seating (particularly by the window) is a perfect place to read a newspaper. There are electrical outlets throughout to plug in a laptop. You don't get rushed. And - Panera has a SIP Club which gives unlimited soda / coffee/ teas for a $13 monthly subscription. Unlimited hot coffee in the winter. Unlimited cold coffee in summer. read more

Their soup is very good but pair that with a half sandwich and you're barely getting any change back from your Fifty (for two.) Panera catering department is right on target! I frequently order breakfast & lunch and the order is always correct. One tip is to call the store direct to order and speak to Isha because if you order online changes need to be done online and there are time restrictions. The service tonight was nothing short of perfect. The cashier wasn't sure how to ring in the paper gift certificate and asked for the manager's assistance. He promptly came to help while the cashier attended to the next guests. There was an issue with the certificate but he honored it anyway. While we were enjoying our meal he circled around the dine in area to check on everyone. Furthermore, he brought over delicious cookies for us to enjoy after our meal. The kindness didn't stop there. The polite young gentleman cleaning up came to our table to take our dishes as we were finished. Clearly, the manager, Jim, has set the tone of kindness, politeness and general courtesy for his restaurant. The staff here were all so kind! read more

2 stars only because they didn't screw up our order bit that probably the only good thing. First I walked in and asked a staff member where the bathroom was. Without even looking up at me she just silently pointed at a wall...didn't speak to me just pointed. Then they also do not do the paisley waiting thing where you can order something, pay for it and decide or pick it up on your way out. Which I'm pretty sure is a standard Panera thing. I've never (until this one) been too a location that didn't do that... Next they didn't give us our cups and we had to ask for them, not a big deal but when he did (after waiting for the next customer to order and pay) he only gave us two and asked us to show him our receipt for the third cup (even though he had JUST) checked us out. So that was just annoying. We then waited 15 min before our food came (but they did bring it to us which was nice) When we did finally get our food, all three it's Lea we're dirty. Like sticky dirty. I washed dirty. So that's gross. I got plastic which I guess was fine since we at least know that's clean and unused. After eating I asked for a to go cup and box for my leftovers and had to ask a second time because after another 5 min I finally got it but no bag. First time being at this panera bread! it is a bigger panera and very pretty. There was a line when we got in, but moved quickly as there were 2 registers open. I ordered The autumn Squash soup and the bacon turkey sandwich with avacado. Both were good. Only thing is i had the you pick 2, and they forgot to ask if i wanted an apple. It's all good tho. Ordered a strawberry smoothie which was delicous, had to ask for it tho. It's okay because maybe they have an issue with theft. Only complaint was some tables were dirty with crumbs on it. read more

As multiple locations of the Panera Bread go this one seems by far the worst one I've visited in a long time. Decided to stop by for a quick lunch on my way to Rhode Island. The staff was nice but it seems understaffed for the amount of traffic this place generates even though it doesn't generate much around 11am. The food is the same solid fare you find at other locations but: Self order kiosks are nowhere to be found. Table service available in other locations doesn't seem to exist. Descriptions of the menu items usually available on the menu don't seem to be there. So the order numbers are given with the plastic card which needs to be placed in a metal holder on the table for someone to notice (if they were to bring the food to the table) C'mon people this place is way behind the times here.
