Panera bread has gone downhill the last couple of years. I remember when it used to be popular back in the day, but now it just sucks. I ordered a frontega chicken sandwich and a French onion soup. the soup literally tasted like water with croutons and little sprinkles of cheese on top. The sandwich did not look appetizing and it tasted like it was made the day before. Even the bread on the side tasted bad, it wasn't fresh and I'm willing to bet it was also made the day before. The workers are loud when they're talking to each other but when they bring your food they look Very depressed. This is the last time I go to panera bread. read more

Horrible place- Ordered a bacon turkey bravo sandwich- get to the table and BRAVO-NO FREAKIN BACON? What a hard sandwich to make ? So I bring it back and the "could care less cook/guy" goes does something and comes back and drops sandwich in front of me no words- just a puss! So I get back and its crumbled garbage bacon- looked more like bits than actual bacon. I gave up and just ate the mushy mess of a sandwich. My wife got a disgusting french onion soup that could have been made from a pouch and had such a hard time getting a good fresh cup of coffee that she had to go twice and demand another cup and they all sucked so she got her money back and still got a hard time from the girl at register. We got a full small mushy sandwich with a bag of stale chips a french onion soup and half a sandwich for $@%! Screw that...Screw this place- its horrible- the food cheap and tiny and the lack of customer service-one of the worst in Rockland if not a top spot! When we went to put garbage in their cans it was overflowing and an entire table had garbage and plates and all over it and no one was caring enough to get the mess out of customers view- nobody! The place is filthy! The place was empty on a Christmas rush night with full parking lot and it deserved to be empty. As Chef Ramsey used to say "SHUT IT DOWN"! The lack of care ( saw no smiles and got no welcome but they sure were smiling and laughing with each other when nothing was getting done!)as soon as you walk in is obvious- If you guys hate your jobs so much then do the customers a favor before you get closed down and LEAVE! read more

This Panera is pretty busy so good luck with finding a seat! It's one of my study spots since they provide outlets and free wifi! I was lucky enough to find a table near two outlets. I ordered a Chai tea latte which comes in one size for $3.89 and a toffee cookie for $2.19. Both orders were a great combination. I will be definitely coming back. read more

This place should be reviewed by Panera management. My wife and I ordered the Goddess Cobb Salad and when they brought them out to us there was very little chicken in each salad and no avocado. When we asked the chef where is the avocado was she said the salad does not come with avocado and would not put the avocado in the salad. It looks like whatever bogus chef is making the food that day just makes up there own version of what the ingredients should be and to hell with what the menu says. This is not the way to treat paying customers. I have always wondered how can big business be so stupid when the patrons know what should be on the plate but the owners do not know??? This place just went on our sh#t list and we will not come back to this failure store ever again. read more

I can't comment on their lunch items as I've only ordered the Italian Combo and French Onion soup (both of which I thought were acceptable), but I can say that their breakfast sandwiches are very good. They actually use real eggs! Unless you get the egg white sandwiches - those are from a carton. But the coffee is cheaper than Starbucks' coffee and tastes just the same (to me anyway) so I'm a fan. read more

Few of my colleagues and I decided to grab lunch and made a mistake of stepping into this place,the people taking order just dont listen to you, i finally got a water cup from them after asking 4 times. The food was OK, nothing great, the place was crowded so the service took long, when the food came it was missing the extra cheese we had requested, when asked we got a blunt reply, "we are very busy"!!! . I always love coming to this Panera Bread because it is very close to my house and the Asian Chicken Salad is to die for!!! Today I walked in and the line was almost out the door. I decided to wait, well cuz I was already there. I looked at the face of the man at the counter and my heart went out to him. I read his name tag, he was the manager his name Sean. He didn't look pissed or mad that he was stuck behind the register with hungry people waiting in line. He had a smile on his face and looked truly happy to be there. ( weather he was or not who really knows) But I digress. The point is he was SO nice. And this woman ahead of me was just SO rude to him for no reason at all I wanted to smack her. So I smiled at him and told him he was doing a great job. And he looked sincerely glad to hear it. He took my order and told me to have a great evening. The younger man who gave me my food was also really nice. So the point of this whole review is I LOVE Panera Bread and screw u miserable lady who yelled at Sean! And I will always be back to eat my Asian Chicken Salad!!! read more

let me say panera is pathetic worldwide. however, I know specifically that this location is very dirty because I've unfortunately had chats with people that work here and either bake the bread overnight or make your food during the day and the losers they hire, enjoy draping the bread on the floor, spitting into the food, and 'dropping' a few ingredients on the floor. as for panera, in ecuador you can buy a whole banana tree of ripe bananas for $1. that's a lot of food. here? the worlds smallest veggie sandwich (that has been degraded to smaller bread with minimum exposure to ingredients), a bread bowl soup (with soup amount that is a few spoonfuls), and a green iced tea full of ice amounts to nearly $20. the food itself isn't enough to entertain the stomach of an infant for more than a an hour with no food left to dip back into or snack on. it is horrible how this place flourishes off of stupid people that work hard and have nowhere better to take their big bucks. so panara is 100% organic? guess what. do you know where you can find organic food? the rest of the entire world. don't be lazy and don't find yourself in a fad. eat the right amount of food from an authentic spot and save your money. this is a hideous mass chain making money machine. read more

Everything is delicious!!! From the soups, sandwiches & salads. Of course my favorite are the smoothes. The green tea drink is also refreshing. The employee's are always nice. Been going there for years now. Love the place, food is always fresh. read more

Our office usually orders from Panera in Nanuet when it's someone's birthday. They often get the order wrong and it's rarely ready for pick up when they say it will be. Of course, they've charged for everything we ordered but no one wants to go back to argue over a missing 1/2 salad. The quality of their food and their service also needs to improve. read more

I always go to this Panera bread seeming so i work not to far from the location. I went to get their new over easy egg and cheese sandwich and when checking out going to work I noticed i did not have any egg on my sandwich. So i went back to let them know, while i'm waiting for them to remake my sandwich i hear the manager stating to his employee that he needs to focus and not mess up. Also stating in his words " when go you go to school and don't do your work they put you in a special class, you don't want to be in that special class do you?" as well as " if you don't do your job here no one will talk to you or associate with you here do you want that!?" Also stating "people don't like you when you take the short bus do you want to be on the short bus?" Also the manager stated " look you messed her sandwich(meaning me) you think she is gonna want you making her sandwich again if u messed it up, get focused and stop falling behind." I was so taken back by these remarks and just couldn't wait to get out of there and felt really bad for the young man working there, that was only trying to help as much as possible and rush cause he got yelled out before for going to slow. I did go back there a little while afterwards and spoke to a manager at another location that was working there he said he would tell the assistant manager of the store and no one should be treated like that or talked to like that, come to find out the man that was speaking to the boy in that way was the catering manager!! I really hope you get new training or managers soon cause this young man is getting bullied and spoken down to is not okay coming from a manager position myself. Workers should feel secure and respected and happy to work at a place not talked down, disrespected or felt not worthy. This is really disappointing coming from a business that suppose to support "FEELING GOOD". Hopefully that young man will have support and be able to get through his work day, week, months, or years. if not young man if you read this please reevaluate where you work and find somewhere that will make you feel better about yourself and help and guide you through your journey. This is literally the worst Panera I've ever been to. And I've been to many many Panera breads. I've always been treated well - not at this one. First of all, I had a large order, but the cashier could not get it right. I had to correct her three times. They told me they didn't know how many 4 cheese soufflés they had left, they were in the oven and it would take 15 mins, but they didn't know how many of each they put in the oven. It's 8:30 am, prime breakfast time and you don't even know how many of each type you have cooking? Who's running this place? The cashier had no personality. I'm not expecting much- but she acted like she was doing me a huge favor by putting my order together. At the end she handed my soufflés to me and reminded me that my oatmeal would be at the back counter for pick up. I went to pick it up and there was only one item on the counter. There were 3 employees standing there, and I asked politely, "Is this the oatmeal?" The girl just quickly said the word "Sherry" and I had no clue what she was saying, because my name isn't Sherry. Then she went back to talking and flirting with her employee, COMPLETELY IGNORING ME. I spoke up a little louder and said again "excuse me, is this the oatmeal?" I didn't want to go pawing through someone else's food. She then had the audacity to look at me and reply, "does it look like oatmeal to you?" I was in shock and stated, "wow, is that how you treat your customer? Please tell me your name so I can speak with your manager about you rudely ignoring me." She then walked away and muttered "well now I think I'll really ignore you." I found out from another employee that her name was kellan, she was wearing an orange baseball cap. The store manager is named Jennifer. I will definitely be calling in to complain about this terrible service and I will never again go back to this location. Shame on Panera Bread for hiring terrible employees that think they are there for fun and socializing instead of selling products for their company and earning a paycheck. read more

I'm a big Panera's fan, but I won't be eating at this location any longer. Last week we stopped there for an early supper: my friend's hot sandwich lingered at the counter and when finally brought over was cold and gummy. The turkey flatbread sandwich, which I had enjoyed cold a few weeks ago at another Panera's, arrived very hot. The taste was vile: the greens were wilted and the mayonnaise had turned sour. Nevertheless, I met a friend there for lunch today. We left our coats in a booth, ordered our lunch, and returned to find a seemingly homeless woman sitting there and our coats gone. They were later discovered in another booth at the back of the restaurant. The waitress said she had put them there at the homeless woman's request. The woman moved to another booth but later returned and paced in front of our booth until we left. It was a disconcerting experience. The management does not seem to care at all about the quality of its service or the safety of its customers. Go elsewhere. read more

terrible service. there are flies crawling all over the bakery items.. one cashier who is very uneducated in every way possible. two visits ago I watched the manager process 3 orders as he watched my cashier struggle to process a simple frigging order. during my most recent visit I saw flies crawling all over the food preparation tables in the back. and I was over charged me last time by 4 dollars, the mentally challanged cashier charged me for a drink that I never received or ordered. 45 dollars for 2 half and half. you guys are crazy read more

omg i went here and ordered my salad... it took 22 mins to reach that damm table... serving should be at least less than 10 mins... i told this to the guy server and he said its not his fault! what an answer. this guy has some nerve to rebut instead of apologizing for the shortcoming... is this what u call service...this branch of panera is ruining its name... soo sad. i wont ever buy in here again. be thankful i scored this branch one star where in fact its unscorable. read more
