Worst $35 bucks spent. Food was not what it is to be. The sandwich's horrible my husband had a chicken sandwich first bite was a huge piece brown meat. He didn't even eat 1/4 of his. I had half sandwich and Mac and cheese same horrible what happened to this place. We went in 1.5 hours before they closed everyone's running around closing things up. Not helping guest at the register. Another person with the central vacuum pulling the hose all over the place my husband had to walk around the wall to get to our table. We came here for a quick dinner and the food was really good and the service was quick. The staff was very kind to my toddler and gave her stickers and two cups to play with as you know if your parent sometimes it can be difficult to entertain your toddler. Well, I got the Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich and it was in no way like it looks like on TV. Maybe the chicken is about the same size but the the "pickle chips" looked like they were about the size of maybe a dime (or smaller), maybe there was garlic aioli but I couldn't taste it. The buffalo sauce was OK but that's basically all it was, chicken/bun/sauce. If they cut the cost in half then it might be worth it but at the current price I could buy 2 whole chickens at one of those wholesale club stores. read more

I ordered my food on the tablet because they bearly had anyone working at the front and then after the tablet told me to ask for my drink at the counter wich I did and they told me it comes out with my food and wouldn't give me the cups and made me wait . This Panera Bread bakery, at 590 Amherst Street, is my favorite of all Panera Bread bakeries. The food is good, the staff are kind and efficient, the restaurant is immaculate (and spacious), and this Panera Bakery location, unlike the Woburn, MA Panera Bakery location, keeps plenty of hot and cold cups out, for Unlimited Sip Club members. Prices are high ($12-$14.00 for a chicken salad or like sandwich!), many food selections are good (not great), I find Panera's soup very salty, and their flatbread pizza awful and inedible. A bear claw danish pastry cost about $3.75. I scratch my head wondering where young people get the money to eat lunch, or a $7.00 breakfast sandwich at Panera. So i ordered a pick 2 with half a fuji apple salad and veggie soup to go. I order it to go and when I looked at the salad portion it looked like a children portion I've ordered many a times this salad but never saw such a small portion I went back inside and complained about the portion and the manager said that's the correct size! Don't get me wrong - there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. It's like every other Panera out there- big, fireplace, same smell. But what gets me about my visit today is the cost. - My lunch was a 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup, small bag of chips and a diet coke. Cost nearly $14. I'm not kidding you - it was $13 and change for lunch. That's a lot. And while the sandwich was good and the soup was nice - I didn't feel like I was getting a great value. - Panera's angle is that their ingredients are fresh and don't have hormones or chemicals or plastics or whatever it is these days that's trying to kill us. But - you know - that comes at a cost and it sure was reflected in my check. So while I have nothing bad to say about this location or my lunch, I don't expect to return anytime soon. The counter help was friendly and eager to take out order- but honestly the entire process is confusing as some of the order coems out over here and there. Last evening I ordered a lobster sandwich in the Nashua, N.H. location. Every bite had a small piece of shell in it. Luckily I didn't damage a tooth but I'm sure I swallowed some shell bits because there were so many and I hope that won't be a problem. If I hadn't paid $28 for it, and it was my dinner, I would have thrown it away but I tried to eat around the shells. read more

Overpriced salads are not good. Ordered a Greek and it was mostly lettuce (not the freshest), the tomatoes were very thinly shaved (thought they were pieces of red pepper at first glance) , two pieces of thinly shaved red onions, hardly anything in it that would make it Greek except for the dressing. Not worth it and frankly sad looking. I also hate how they just rip the baguettes into odd shapes and throw it in the bag. read more

"My family and I come here every week with our kids. Tonight, an associate went out of her way to come talk to us at the register while we were ordering to warn us to "keep it clean" tonight, indicating that our children are too messy. Granted, we have a barely 4yo and a 12mo just learning how to self- feed, so naturally, they are messy and while we do our best to clean up after them, I take responsibility for the fact that they are, in fact, young kids. I felt that there had to be a better way to address it than to publicly shame us at the register in front of employees, other customers, and our two kids. It was humiliating, we felt singled out and extremely unwelcome. This is not his you should treat your families with kids. Many are just doing their best and already overwhelmed, as anyone with Littles in public will tell you. Shame on you all for this poorly managed situation. It was a failure, as you could have chosen compassion over criticism and taken a solution focused approach instead. We will bring our children to a more family friendly establishment in the future. Way to go guys: My grandmother is passing soon with cancer. I visited her the other day and she was telling me about how she really wanted soup, but not hospital soup because she said it tasted "awful" she went on about how she really would like some clam chowder from Panera. Unfortunately Panera only sells clam chowder on Friday. I called the manager Sue and told them the situation. I wasn't looking for anything special just a bowl of clam chowder. Without hesitation she said absolutely she would make her some clam chowder. When i went to pick it up they wound up giving me a box of cookies as well. Its not that big of a deal to most, but to my grandma it meant a lot. I really want to thank Sue and the rest of the staff from Panera in Nashua NH just for making my grandmother happy. This update covers their lunch catering. At the end of the the year, I thought it would be a nice idea to bring lunch in for a group of students who completed a project. While Panera does offer a wide variety of box lunches, the ordering is geared more to business meetings instead of irrational adolescents who can't make up their mind. That having been said, they had no problem letting me order off the regular menu. I faxed them a list with each student's name and order. When it was time to pick up the food, they had put each order in an individual paper lunch bag and written each student's name on the bag. The order was ready on time, and was 100% accurate - they also helped carry the bags out to the car for me. read more

This is the second Panera to open up in Nashua and is far superior to the South Nashua location (which hit the scene first). I have a standing date with Kristin W. to return here whenever I am in town, and we typically take advantage of the Target on the other end of the plaza first. I really like Panera - they have also introduced some sort of member rewards program in the past few months were you get 'points' for every little bit that you spend. If you know me at all, you know how much I love crap like that. Anyway, Tina ALREADY had one of these point-driven cards, and it turns out I was able to get a free mocha latte. It was delicious; even moreso because it was free. The young girl who helped me, Amie, even gave me a water after she (by accident) put it back after thinking I didn't want it anymore. Since I'm all NYC-refugee this week, I was NOT expecting like, good customer service. It was unexpected, but awesome. It always good here, and with Kristin I always kind of have fun. I usually get the 2x2 and pair some chicken noodle soup with sort of sandwich. I tried that fontega (sp?) chicken thing this time and it was delicious. If you have a choice between the Paneras in Nash, go to this one. It's just better. By a lot. read more

Panera has an extensive menu, but few things on said menu are actually worth getting. Their sandwiches are generally "meh" unless you like chipotle on everything. The soups are only marginally better than Campbell's. The macaroni & cheese is delicious but about a zillion calories. The bakery items look fantastic but are generally less delicious than they look. The coffee isn't that good. One thing sticks out on their menu: THE BAGELS. They have amazing bagels, and it used to be a weekly routine to get an asiago cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. However, they discontinued the sun dried tomato cream cheese a few months ago, and I am still angry. There is now absolutely no reason to go to Panera anymore, unless you need some free WiFi. read more

I try to stay away from chains and stuff, but I have gone to this Panera on several occasions, usually taking home a quick dinner after class. And for a while, they had switched to iceberg lettuce from romaine and mixed greens in their salads. That totally turned me off: I like salad because I want my lettuce to have flavor, not just be yellow and watery. Shudder... If I choose to stay at Panera to get some work done, this one is vastly preferable to the one on Spit Brook, which is so cramped and crowded that I feel like I can't breathe. This Panera has a lot of seating available--for working, the best place to go is the back, where most people (and their rambunctious kids) are not. The food and drink are on the expensive side, but I like their iced tea a lot because it's obviously freshly brewed quite frequently. I'd say their coffee is a distant fourth to Riverwalk, Dunks, and Starbucks: if I'm going to spend $3+ on a coffee beverage, it's not going to be from Panera. read more

Panera has it all: breakfast, lunch, pastries, drinks, coffee, organic, etc. It's overwhelming the amount of options you have for breakfast alone. Pastries, the most amazing bagels, souffles, fruit, and more! The only thing I'm unhappy about is they no longer carry the salmon flavored cream cheese. But their bagels are so delicious that I can stand to forgive them. This is my favorite lunch spot. Their pick 2 menu is large and has many different options. I can now say I have had every one of their soups and salads that they have offered and they are all delicious. The mediterranean veggie is one of my favorites paired either with their new chicken noodle soup (the new recipe is leaps and bounds better than their previous) or a seasonal salad. The ingredients are always fresh and of decent quality. It's honestly one of the best lunches around within this price range. The lines can be long during lunch but they always seem to move pretty quickly. Every time I go in the service is fantastic. The people who work there are very friendly and the place is kept clean. When it's busy it might be difficult to find a booth to sit in, but they do have several different options for seating, including plush chairs in front of a fire place. read more

Panera has some really good bread, pastries and yummy hot chocolate. I particularly like the asiago bread. Their list of sandwich options is pretty limited for a vegetarian, however. They used to have an awesome one, but I haven't seen it on the menu in awhile. I went to this specific location one night for a late dinner and asked them to make me a vegetarian sandwich that wasn't on the menu. I live there :) Well, not quite, but I go there very often. I go there for my hobby/work using my laptop and their free WIFI. I am so greatful that they provide free WIFI. Coffee are great. Taste is consistent, flavorful (for the price), and they seems to regular maintain fresh pots out there. Bakery is excellent. The breads are tasty and sweet (not sugar, the natual sweetness of bread) They introduced Pizza and its our family favorite these days. Service is excellent. People are friendly, quick to help you, and I never had issues with order mix up etc. read more

The staff here is super! I have visited this Panera multiple times since recently moving to Nashua, It is conveniently located very close to my work so I find myself there about every other week for soup and a sandw\ich. One day last month, I placed my lunch order, looking into my bag for my wallet to pay for my meal and realized I had forgotten my wallet back at work...Arg! The cashier could see my dismay as I realized I would have to drive back to work, fetch my wallet and come back and pay. She kindly handed me my receipt and said I could come back sometime that day and pay. Not a problem at all she said. TOTAL TRUST! I sure would come back and pay. How great was this? I thanked her and was going to stop on my way back after work that day...the manager comes by, credits me for my entire almost $15 meal in total and says "No need to come back to pay, we have it covered :)" Really??? I got great service, very understanding and trusting staff and then a free meal. WOW! How nice was that? It really made my day. I went to this Panera today but this is really a review on all Panera's I have ever gone. I've learnt my lesson: no more. I was STARVING (so what else is new?) I could not even think so my husband looked at the menu for me and suggested the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich. I don't know you but the name produced visions of warm veggies in some delicious bread with maybe eggplants, zucchini... Stuff like that, right? I got the sandwich and first thing I noticed is that it was served on cold bread (looked like white bread but I might be wrong about that). All I could see was lettuce and tomatoes so I was curious as to what else was there, I opened it up and, behold: Feta cheese. I set it to the side and my friend asked me what was wrong. I explained and he thought they should give me a new one. I said I didn't think it was fair since it was not their fault that I did not read the description correctly. He gets up to read the description and, guess what? No mention of cheese. I've been trying really hard for the last week not to touch the stuff so I was not about to succumb. Friend was nice enough to get up, tell them I could not eat dairy (not true but if you play the "I'm allergic card" they are usually very careful) and soon after they bring me a new one. To be on the safe side I again remove the top bread except this time all the way only to find that it had pesto sauce. Way to go guys! Pesto has cheese but who cares, right? In addition, fast food pesto is often made with walnuts instead of pine nuts and that I'm actually allergic to. So I proceeded to dissect the sandwich to see what could be salvaged. It consisted of two pieces of lettuce, 3 tomato slices, 4 onion pieces and 4 slices of cucumber. I ate the cucumbers and tomatoes since they were not touching the pesto. I also pinched a piece of the extremely unimpressive bread which had no pesto and was, not surprisingly, unimpressed. My husband was not impressed with his sandwich (also cold which did not seem to fit the type) and our friend was ok with his. Why didn't I have the, for example, portobello sandwich? Because I've had it before and it tastes like they keep it in white vinegar for a month before they decide is ready to be served. I'm so done with this chain. read more

I normally love panera, all the employees are always very polite and friendly. My issue is there are no seats with plugs, I came to work on my resume and job hunt with the free wifi. I can't use my laptop at all now. Not to mention I ordered a 5$ breakfast sandwich and they sent me a somewhat runny egg and very bloody steak. This is the LAST time I try to order any type of meat from this panera. I cannot strand bloody meat of any kind. I'm not a huge meat lover to begin with. I asked about it and they said all their meat is bloody! Gross! I guess I should always ask when I go to a "hipster" cafe. If you like your food cooked try Costco's cafe or BJ's. Called in a salad to pick up on my way home from work. When I got home realized there was an issue with it. I called the store and the associate apologized and got the manager on the phone. The manager quickly resolved the situation and was understanding and apologetic. I've never had an issue at Panera but it was good to know I'd be taken care of when I did. read more
