    Panera from the drive thru

I don't normally review national chains, but my last three experiences with this nearby Panera have been below my expectations. My son is a fan of their grilled cheese and tomato soup and it's one of his most common takeout requests. He always gets chips as his side. Our last 3 experiences, oldest to most recent, are as follows 1. They put some sort of horseradish condiment (which we didn't order) on his grilled cheese. We didn't discover this until we got home. It was inedible to me, let alone to an elementary aged kid. I called and asked them to make another one and have it ready because we were in a hurry. They asked me on the phone to provide information to verify that I had been there, further delaying things. When we arrived, the sandwich was not made. After they made it, the person working on it accidentally dropped it and had to make a new one. This was all a significant inconvenience to us given what else we had going on that day. No one ever apologized or offered us anything for our inconvenience. 2. My son who normally gets a whole grilled cheese asked for a half. I made sure to ask that it would be half of a normal whole. It was not. It was on a different style of bread that was not the equivalent of half a whole. We didn't discover this until we got home. 3. They ran out of chips, which is the only side my son is interested in. The other options are bread or an apple, and we have both of those at home. It seems like they could plan better so that they don't run out of chips. But if they do, they should give you more options since they are not giving you what you want. They could deduct the cost of the chips. They could offer more options like a dessert. I would even prefer a voucher for chips to bread or an apple. I will be limiting my visits to this Panera Bread and I do not recommend it.

Many choices for lunch and not so many healthy ones ,but Panera brings to their table fresh and healthier options ,even having drive thru service . The place is pretty nice inside and offers free Wi-Fi to all guests ,so bring as many devices you need to. They have pizza Flatbread, salads , bagels and more. You have one menu option to Pick 2 . That is half a sandwich and soup or salad. You can mix & match any of their great choices . The mac and cheese is very creamy and decedent I have tried that at another location . Today I went with a full bowl of Broccoli n Cheese soup and a full sized tuna sandwich. I chose white bread inside of the roll it usually has . Overflowing with tuna, tomato, lettuce and red onion, yumm! It comes with kettle chips or apple, I chose the chips The soup was pretty big with lots of Broccoli and slim pieces of carrots throughout. Nice and hot and very filling .

I had the WORST experience at this Panera Bread and it only got worse when I got home. I went through the drive through and ordered a broccoli cheddar soup with a green smoothie. When I got to the window, the young lady was extremely RUDE. She swiftly asked me for the money as I was in the process of opening my wallet and then had the audacity to put her finger up to tell me to hold down when I asked her to punch in my number so I could earn rewards. I gave her the number & she asked me to repeat it three times even though I'm certain she heard me. I decided to take the high road and just pull off after getting my food. When I got home, I sat down and began eating. As I reached the end of my soup, I took a spoon and began choking. I quickly pulled out what I thought was broccoli and it was a PIECE OF PLASTIC. I was mortified. The negligence of the staff to the point where I almost swallowed plastic is despicable. I will absolutely be contacting the store and corporate.

The service was amazing. The pizzas were definitely top three around in Connecticut. The desserts were amazing and customer service was very helpful when me and my daughter came in there to get some food we didn't know what we wanted for the first time. The lady I think her son owns it she was very helpful.and she was also a big fan

I recently started coming to Panera on a daily basis after I signed up for their Coffee subscription. It's a two minute detour from my house, on my way to work, which is very convenient for me. With the subscription I am able to get unlimited coffee any size and any flavor. The subscription does have some limitations and I am unable to add a shot of French vanilla to my coffee with the subscription. Now after I get my coffee I have to manually add a shot of French vanilla in my car. I haven't used the order in store option due to Covid, I have only used the mobile order feature. The mobile order is a very simple process and easy to navigate. The one thing that I have been struggling with his the inconsistency of my order when I do curbside pick up. I always order a large, but I am given a medium coffee due to the store not having large coffee cups. Sometimes I get a notification that my coffee is ready to be picked up, but when I walk into the store to pick up my order I don't see my coffee. I didn't have to talk to an employee to get my order. The last time I was there they had ran out of most of their coffees, so I had to settle for the only coffee they had available. The one thing I did notice was that they did not have napkins. An employee told me that napkins are only given when you order a meal and not a drink. I will continue to come back as I do like their coffee overall.

Unlike most other Paneras I have been to, this location lacked the warm and fuzzy atmosphere. The food was fine and the service was quick, but again, it had to be quick because I was the only one in the restaurant. The Wi-Fi was f*%ked up. Panera is general is becoming too expensive for the amount of food you get. Call me Miss Piggy if you want, but I have been leaving there still hungry (see my photo).

    Teriyaki chicken & broccoli bowl

My family and I used to come here on a weekly basis and we've stopped doing so because of the lack of quality and consistency with our orders. I ordered the new Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli Bowl and once I opened it at home was given a children's like sized portion. I also get a macaroni and cheese and pay and extra 2.00 and haven't gotten any at all. The lack of what I order and pay for is getting very irritating for my family and I.

I'm in love with Panera, including the various assortments of bagels & cream cheese that Panera sells. This particular establishment has a drive-thru, which allows for a more convenient way of ordering. This location is well-managed as the entire staff seems attentive & professional while on duty.

This is one of those places you walk into and immediately relax…read more Sadie's Sunrise Café has that clean, airy, artsy neighborhood vibe, local artwork on the walls, a few quirky touches hanging from the ceiling, natural light pouring in, and just enough buzz to feel alive without being chaotic. It's not trying too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Feels like a spot where regulars post up, sip coffee, and take their time. No rush, no nonsense, ust good energy. And then the sandwich shows up... and flips the script. This isn't breakfast. This is a stacked, unapologetic morning statement. The Overloaded Egg Sando Griddled brioche bun, soft, buttery, just enough toast to hold things together (barely). Under that, a crispy hash brown doing the heavy lifting, adding crunch and soaking up all the goodness. Sausage brings that savory backbone, while the spinach scrambled eggs stay fluffy and rich. Then you get that creamy hit from the smashed avocado, melted smoked gouda layering in a subtle smokiness, and finally... the gochujang aioli. That aioli is the move. Sweet heat, a little funk, a little tang, cuts right through the richness and keeps every bite from getting too heavy. And let's be honest... Had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to take the first bite. This thing is messy, stacked, and fully committed to the cause. Not first-date food. Not "eat it in the car" food. This is sit-down, take-a-minute, maybe-need-a-nap-after kind of food. The best part? The space balances it perfectly. Big, bold sandwich... calm, easygoing room. That's a combo I'll go back for every time.

I don't think DiBella's does this. But, given that it is a restaurant that serves many more customers than I do (#FourMouths at home), I can understand that they favor efficiency for quality in some light. I ordered a chicken caesar salad through their app (which is quite basic, might I add). I was elated to see that theirs comes with bacon by default -- though nowhere did it say that it included spinach, either by default or as an option. Keep this in mind. I was in walking distance, so I walked over and was happy to see that my order was ready by the pickup counter. The staff -- who seemed very nice -- directed me over. I grabbed my bag, a fork, and was on my way. I get to where I was and open up the bowl... there's spoiled lettuce alllllll over the place. In the picture is about 98% of the lettuce I picked out that was either soft or pink/red. This is absolutely unacceptable in my book (of course, because my standards are a little higher than a restaurant that serves probably hundreds of folks a day). I will say, however, that the chicken was alright and the bacon was... well, crispier than the lettuce. It was real good. I am not angry, and I'm not exactly disappointed, but my lunch was a waste of $12 or however much it was. Would I try DiBella's again? Yes, but I'll stick to making my own salads. Lmao.

You expect, like the other establishments in the plaza, to find a small cafe style restaurant. When you walk in, you are surprised with fun decor and spacious dining area. Everyone who has gone with me says the same thing "I would never expect it to look like this based on the outside." As for food, they have the Best Reuben sandwich in Rocky Hill. Fries are crispy and price on point. Every meal I've had there has been great! The only downside is table service during lunch is very slow. So make sure you have a full hour to burn if you go for lunch.

So happy I finally caught this restaurant when they were open!…read moreI'm now making an effort to get out of the house early to catch them. Firstly, this restaurant is bigger than it looks! Secondly, the latte, cocktail & mocktail options are amazing, along with the many many options of food. I've heard that food from restaurants with large menus are mediocre...this DOES NOT apply here. My party of 2 tried breakfast & lunch options. Both were fresh & so flavorful, especially that homemade syrup I had with the French Egg Holes & Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (3). The home fries came out & were seasoned to perfection. Also, not 1 hard potato to be found. The over medium egg in my thick french toast was actually medium! And they gave me the wholes that were cut from the center of the bread. The pancakes were so fluffy & the icing delish. Tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll. We also ordered 2 different mimosas. The cranberry & the classic. Both were made crispy cold, with quality juices & came garnished. The Salted Cinnamon Mocha Latte, was velvet. It wasn't overly sweet, it wasn't watery or overly bold. I was surprised about how tall the cup was...I drank all of it. It wasn't served scorching hot, so I could sip right away. The Greek Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup was lovely. Typically, soup is watery & looks like it was the last bits, but this had chunky meat, the broth had flavor with hints of lemon. You could see the herbs. This didn't scream, I'm from a can at all. The service was also nice & the waitresses didn't mind that we couldn't make our decisions right away. She & her counterpart offered suggestions & were very kind with checking on us. At the end of the meal, we couldn't help but order some take home from the lunch menu for later. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
