Definitely the food is alway good here. Not just only that the staffs here are so nice, really helpful and friendly. I feel cozy here with booth and tables. I used to receive wrong order when my son ordered bacon Mac and cheese but when we arrived home, no bacon in his. When I drove back to correct it, the maneger was so nice and apologized us then she made it right. I was happy for that. Things could happen I know. It's Panera Bread. The last time I had this was when I was in southern California. I had their U-Pick-Two (in this case, half sandwich and half soup). Their Hearty Fireside Chili is that: hearty and full of fire haha. Not spicy enough to burn you, but spicy enough to give you a pick-me-up. I had their cranberry chicken salad sandwich, which was honestly so good (in my opinion) I gobbled it up rather quickly. I think this place and all other Panera's are guilty of false advertising. The Pick 2 fake deal they advertise does not say EACH for the half sand and soup ANYWHERE. Not even on the store menu. You mean I get a half crappy sandwich and a tiny cup of soup (in a decent flavor) for $24 (that includes tax and the gratuitous tax machine that does not allow you to give the person who hands you a sandwich less that 20%). I've been here a handful of times, and every time I come there seems to be a new person at the register. Maybe it's the time of day or different weekend stuff. I went to Panera's in Novato today and was very disappointed. I was hungry, so i saw 2 sizes of mac and cheese on the menu. I asked the lady what a full bowl was. She showed me the empty bowl, looked nice and big. Much to my surprise and disappointment, when i got the full size mac and cheese, the bowl was barely half full. A really disappointing experience was had this time! Tried the newly hyped big sour dough pepperoni and mozzarella sandwich which looks so fully loaded in the ad pics, supposedly with thick artisan pepperoni meat. Instead the contents resembled a cheap frozen pocket sandwich with minimal contents of super thin pepperoni and cheese with a watery marinara sauce. If you like overpaying for a bread vessel with little fillings then this might be your jam.. Equally disappointing was the $13.18 cost of this bad example of an Italian pizza sandwich. The tables were dirty and full of crumbs so I asked a member of the staff if they had anything to clean it. This was my first time ordering Panera Bread from Uber Eats. My items that were ordered were only half way correct. I ordered Broccoli cheddar soup, whole grilled cheese, a fountain drink(ginger ale) and lastly I ordered a Brownie. I was given a orange scone! Once I called the Panera to try in rectify the conundrum, I was hung up on Initially then once I called back, "the manager" who I believe was not the manager due to her indifference to my grievance and seems to lack managerial training! All I was offered was a refund from Uber Eats in which I had to contact the Uber eats company!! This was disappointing as I spent $40 on this transaction as I was really looking forward to my brownie! I didn't even receive an apology for a human error mistake that I as made! We had a wonderful time here as a family. The soup was hot and fulfilling on a cool day. The employees were polite and helpful. Our order was correct and delivered quickly. So on December 5th 2020. I had asked my partner to get me some broccoli and cheddar soup from Panera Bread. She came back with the group sized portion of the broccoli and cheddar. Soon as it arrived, I poured a bowl. Then I gave some to my child as well. Thankfully sent wasn't too keen on consuming the soup. My partner poured herself a bowl as well and consumed it as well. At the end of the night, I poured myself the last bit of Panera broccoli cheddar and as I helped myself to a spoon full. I bit down on something that didn't seem consistent with the ingredients in broccoli and cheddar. When I pulled it out of my mouth it turned out to be a piece of wood. A bit soft to the bite which gave my the impression it had been in there for a while. Upon further examination of the wood in my Panera Bread, broccoli cheddar soup. I observed on side of it was blue in color, while the other side was the color you expect wood to be. Having been in the military and around a few wooden pallets. I immediately identified the piece of wood in my PANERA BREAD, BROCCOLI AND CHEDDAR SOUP that I pulled from my mouth to be the same wood from a pallet. Super disappointed in our experience with Panera Bread. In an attempt to speed up our COVID-era lunch hour (four of us on various work and school schedules), we ordered for curbside pickup from Panera. Using the Panera app, we notified them twice of our arrival as instructed, then had to go into the store to pick up, since we were not getting any response. My husband asked to speak to the manager to let them know about our poor experience and was given a list of excuses rather than a simple apology. Well, if you are in the area and you don't want INO or Chipotle or other such offerings, there is PB located in one of the islands of the strip mall. We partook in the soup and sandwich, a soup alone, the cobb salad...it was at best meh, and to boot they'd run out of french bread for the prep of the sandwich and the accompaniment of the soup. Sigh. The cobb - well, not that it was bad, but it was incomplete in the nature of cobb salads. I understand everyone has a variety of how things are prepped, but it just was more like a lettuce salad with a couple of eggs thrown on top. So, again, it isn't necessarily bad, it's just the value ratio isn't particularly high. But if you grow tired of a double double, or a carne asada burrito, this is always another choice. read more

Julie Ann is a hard working and very friendly lady. She always comes and greets the costumers while keeping the place very clean. There was a day that Julie was not at work and right away you could tell her absence since the place was not as clean as when she is there. Julie is an employee that anyone would love to have. I went into the business with my two year old son and my newborn baby to buy food. The bill was about $38 and all i had with me was a $50 bill. The business neglected service because i only had a 50 and we had to leave the store. My son loves their mac and cheese and he left crying from the business. Yesterday, I had some free time before heading to work and decided to stop at Panera at Vintage Oaks. I am glad that I did. The food was really good. I had their half and half offer. Half sandwich and half bowl of mac and cheese. The sandwich was a turkey and avocado b l t on delicious bread. My apologies for not knowing what type of bread. The bread was soft and I could tell it was made fresh. All the ingredients were excellent. Though the sandwich did need some salt and pepper. The mac and cheese was topped with bacon. Again, very good. Just the right amount too, I don't think I could have finished a full bowl. The staff was very helpful. As someone who had never been there before, I was a bit confused. They helped me to make sense of it all. Overall, I think this is a wonderful place and I plan on visiting again. read more

Stopped here to grab dinner for the family before heading home after an appointment in Novato. Ordered food to go and the cashier must have forgotten to put "to go". The kitchen plated everything and I had to ask them to make it to go. The two women gave me death stares (like I had intentionally ruined their day) and dumped it all in to go containers. When I got home, the tomato soup had all the mushy croutons left in it from when they served it as dine in. Quite gross to have to fish out mushy bread that soaked up half the soup. I ended up not even eating it after digging all the mush out. It seemed like they intentionally just slopped it all in there to punish me, rather than dish up a new bowl to go. First time tried their cafe and it was surprisingly very good and fulfilling and tender meats. My tummy is happy, full and content for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I had the warm Ham & Swiss Baked Egg Soufflé that was a Freshly baked souffle made with our savory egg mixture, ham and Swiss cheese that was 490 calories. It was really good filled with egg mixture contained inside a nice croissant crust. It was yummy and excellent. I was hungry no more until lunch. For lunch I had the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad $ 8.29 which was 550 calories and was tasty. The ingredients were All-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, field greens, romaine, tomatoes, red onions, pecans, Gorgonzola, apple chips & white balsamic apple vinaigrette. I got a giant chocolate cookie and bottle of water and that lunch filled me up! :-) My tummy so happy and full and didn't feel like eating dinner later. Who knew salad was so fulfilling! :-0 I would love to come back to try their items again or new items too. I didn't think a place like this would make things actually taste good. Nice surprise.
