Well for one they got my order wrong. Also my girlfriends "grilled cheese" was 2 pieces of bread grilled with a hint of cheese in the middle. I love love love love LOVE Panera! The options are endless of what to get and try! They're continuously coming out with new dishes and new flavors. Panera has a great rewards program as well, where you can earn free items and get amazing discounts on food. Ordered a asiago bagel this morning with cream cheese.They burnt it pretty bad and no cream cheese in the bag.Went in to get it fixed.The new one was burnt even worse.The employee said the toaster wasn't working correctly.They did not want to try again or give me something else.I eat here at least 3 times a week.It's usually good.This time I wasted money on food that was not edible unless you like we'll done black charred bagels.I will never ever come here again.Hope their glad they lost a repeat customer. read more

Possibly the worst Panera I've ever visited. I ordered a Thai chicken salad, no romaine (I don't like romaine) and got their greens blend instead, which is like spring mix. The salad came after a bit of a wait with very little chicken, but lots and lots of the fried noodles crunchies, like literally a full scoop about 1/4 of the entire salad. Then, under a thin layer of the spring mix at the top of the salad, the entire rest of the salad underneath was ALL romaine ribs, over 2 dozen of them. At least 3/4 of the salad was these which I specifically said I didn't want. I only gave this place 2 stars (really 1.5), because the server was very nice and the ticket was right. But the kitchen staff was oh so very wrong and clearly did t read the receipt. I feel like I got a bag of the worst part of romaine lettuce, almost no chicken, & almost no spring mix, just enough to "hide" the garbage underneath. read more

I haven't eaten at a Panera for quite some time. I'm talking like at least five years. This is a pretty large, freestanding Panera with a drive thru window. Bright and clean, with friendly associates running it. We each had a Pick Two with a half sandwich, half salad and piece of baguette. The Salads (Greek and Thai Chicken) were both good (and huge portions, by the way). The turkey and avocado sandwich is boss. The only disappointment was, although the coffee was fresh (they have signs with brew times), it wasn't very hot. Otherwise this is a way tastier and healthier choice than Mickey Ds when you're on the road. read more

I travel for business and have been to a number of different Panera's both in Florida and in other states. Maybe I've just been lucky but this is the only shop that runs out of muffins by 11am on a Saturday and chooses not to offer menu items (posted on their menu board!) because "it is not that popular". This restaurant does not deserve even one star. The employees were friendly, the service was speedy, but the food was horrible. I ordered a very simple Greek salad from the menu. The lettuce was partially brown and the tomatoes were soft and old. There were no cucumbers, just lettuce and tomatoes. Ok, this place needs help!!It is run by a bunch of kids who care less that there are people waiting on their food. It is very dirty in there. We just went about 8:00 tonight so not real busy. Four workers including the guy "in charge" standing around goofing off while the one cashier had to stop taking our order to go take the bread out of the oven and place it wherever it went. They were out of chips, out of apples- no surprise! They never have apples. So she asked if the bread would be ok as our side. Well, do we have a choice? Of course, a fruit cup! For an extra $1.99. Fine, we will take the baguette. Ha! We never got the baguette. We watched them put up an order for a dr. Then it took about 5 min before letting him know it was there. They were all too busy talking. The cashier wasn't busy so she starting eating the desserts. When a lady came in to order, the girls mouth was full of cookies. The lady turned around and walked out. I would be very upset if I owned this restaurant and saw lack of work ethic these people had. The only worker who did her job and was friendly to the customers was the girl who went around wiping off tables. read more

Pricey but oh so delicious. The only problem I had once was that my vermont cheddar mac n' cheese was still cold, they reheated it and it was STILL cold again so they gave up on that one and gave me a fresh one. They have my favorite bread there and it doesn't last long in my house. Their chocolate duet cookies are amazing...mmm. read more

I used to love this place so much but here lately it's become bad. I asked for a toasted bagel and it came back barely warm. They also wanted to charge me more for cream cheese than the actual bagel. $1.75 more to be exact. Thanks, but I have cream cheese at the house. I ordered a decaf iced coffee and they told me that they could not make it. When I asked why, they said "it doesn't come like that". I'm sorry, what??? You don't even make your iced coffee? And how is a little cup of soup that they don't even make there $5.19???? That's insane. I'll save my money and go somewhere else. It's a shame. The prices went up but the quality went down. Why do I punish myself, I haven't been to this Panera bread in a long time, so I thought this a.m I'll pick up a danish ring and a cup of coffee, mind you it was 7:15 a.m and I had to be in Ormond beach by 8 a.m. so I was a little pressed for time. So i went in and stood at the counter for almost a full 5 minutes and there were 2 people in the drive thru, they did not even bother to look at me, and they weren't busy, and 2 people near the counter, the guy by the counter looked at the girl in the back and said "you have someone at the counter " , annnnddd nothing.... She never looked up, nothing, finally she looked at me, and said "I'll be right with you" , she finally came around to the counter, her name was "Brie", she got me what I requested, and that was it. No smile, no thank you for coming in today, nope she just went on doing whatever it was she was doing. So lesson learned, Panera bread unless I am absolutely starving to death and you are the only establishment open, maybe then I will consider patronizing your establishment, but probably not. You lost me as a customer, not that you care, because your a corporation, also noticed on my bill that allegedly the cashiers name was "Justine", even though that wasn't what her name tag said, so who knows... just another of several reasons not to go back... read more

They had horrible soda machine obviously not taken care of, no paper towel in bathrooms, girls bathroom doesn't lock doors, doesn't clean tables, and doesn't give the right orders. I've never been disappointed in Panera until this one read more

Just ate at Panera on 100 in Palm Coast. Food was good, floors sticky as you walked on them, drink area was messy and the doors needed to be cleaned. One of the female employees walked by going to the restroom, her pink shirt and khaki pants were dirty! read more

usually no problems, like their food and the frozen mochas but they seem to have a new young male manager or assistant manager that when something is wrong he tries to tell me that is how they always make it. this last visit I ordered the large mocha and recieved the smaller 16oz drink. when I told the girl at the window it was the wrong size she talked to him and she was told they don't make a larger size. I explained that I have been ordering the larger size for over a year now so he made me the correct one, 20oz. when he gave it to me I tried to explain to him that he shouldn't try to bs the customers with bs excuses and he just laughed. that's one way to annoy an older woman that knows better. laugh at her. suggest he goes back to management school. all other personal seem to know when to just apologize and correct the issue. so the 2 stars are just a reflection of his management issues and not the restaurant and other staff. read more

Ordered my food with hot tea.at 2.30pm..the hot water jug was labelled 11.30 am..3 hours old,ready for ice tea not hot tea.they seem to know that they have to label the jug when they put it out but they don't know why?? Quality has taken a nose dive since the company went private, probably as a result of stringent cost controls. This past Sunday the lettuce in my wife's salad was obviously stale and wilted. Worst experience at a Panera Bread ever. First of all there was no line when we first went in, just one person ordering in front of us. There were two cashiers at the registers but they did not acknowledge us at all. When the the guy in front of us was finished ordering and paying, that cashier look at me, did not say a word and then walked in to the back and disappeared. At this point several minutes had gone by and now there was a line behind us. Finally a nice young man who was restocking the walk in fridge came over and took our order. Terrible customer service on the other employees part. The food was fine. At this point all I can think is they don't care about their customers at all and think the food speaks for its self. Um. No. While sitting I noticed the disgusting chairs which I took a photo of. Not a pleasant experience. I will not ever go back. The worst Panera I have ever been to. Called corporate but ours is a franchise so they like to handle their complaints internally. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich get all the way home to find out it's basically bread with two pieces of tomato and lettuce I don't know what happened to the chicken salad. When I called the manager she tried to explain to me that they have portion sizes instead of just asking me to bring it back and apologizing she wanted to argue with me. So I brought the sandwich back and asked for my money back and she still continued to argue with me, she has to be the worst manager I've ever dealt with. When I asked for her name so I can call corporate she didn't want to give it to me I finally got a first name out of her Sierra/ Ciara . It's a shame that I can no longer enjoy Panera I will never step foot in our Panera again I hope you guys figure it out because I'm sure you've lost a lot of business. Never disappoints! The deal with the soup and salad is awesome. It's about $7 for a half sandwich (cafe or signature -- signature is a few $ more) and a soup. I recommend the tomato soup. It's very thick, so if you don't like that, don't order it ! It's delicious to dip the bread inside. A new sandwich that I am addicted to is the Mediterranean ! It's excellent for you veggie lovers and vegetarians. There's no meat on the sandwich, just onions hummus and many other delicious items. read more

Stopped by this Panera while visiting St. Augustine and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The young women at the cashier allowed me to change sizes of my drink even after i paid. Furthermore, she allowed me to change between coffee and iced tea without any trouble. Really appreciated the accommodations and friendly service. read more

This Panera is one of the best ones around. The staff is very courteous and the restaurant is very clean. Added bonus; there is a patio outside with tables so you can enjoy the Florida weather. The staff is also very allergy conscious as well. The woman who took our order had the cooks change their gloves to keep any contact allergies at bay when we told them of a dairy allergy. Went here the other day with my fiancé. When you order food they ask for your name and give you a pager so you know your food is ready. We went and found a table and waited 10 minutes and our food wasn't ready, so I walked up to the counter to find out what was taking so long. Turns out our food WAS ready and had been sitting up there and our soups were getting cold. When I said something to them their response was "sometimes our pagers aren't full charged, so next time that happens if it has been 4 minutes come up and check if your food is ready". So you have a system of paging people when their food is ready yet you can't use that system because you don't charge your pagers. Anyways other then that the food was good. read more
