Panera in general has changed so much over the course of their existence that I really don't eat here too much any more. The portions and the prices typically don't make it a good value or choice. The menu has changed. No you pick 2. It's now mix and match. And you get specific choices to choose from. I couldn't decide between a sandwich or a salad so I got the mix and match. Half a bacon turkey bravo and half a ranch parm blt. Came out timely. And they were decent. The sandwich was stacked and fresh. Salad was good too. I can't complain really. This location is easy off the highway which is what I wanted. I am on my way home and wanted something good for me and quick. This seemed like a good choice. It was. They have a fireplace in the middle, lots of booths and tables. Large parking area. Good crowd. The only issue is table cleanliness. Which is an issue at most. I received a coupon and decided to give Panera another try. I ordered a Pick 2 combo with a Frontega chicken sandwich that was so dry it was hard to chew and tomato soup. I used to order the Frontega chicken sandwich and liked the combination of flavors, but this preparation was apparently lacking any sauce and the prepared chicken was cold and dry. The tomato soup was fine. I also ordered a chocolate croissant that was so stale that it didn't even have the flaky bite of a croissant. The only redeeming part of my meal was the green tea. Panera was grrrreat! The food is always good. The people were helpful as my son chose his pastries along with his meal. The environment is perfect for meeting with small groups. I had the summer corn chowder which was delicious. My son had the creamy tomato soup in a bread bowl, which he also enjoyed. The tulip butter cookies are my favorite treat. The food came out quickly, and tasted fine (the same as Panera usually tastes, as one would hope). The portion sizes (at least in the to-go boxes) were smaller than I remembered, but perhaps my memory is failing me. What was most disappointing was that an entire bowl of soup was left out of the order -- effectively 1/3 of the meal that was paid for was just not given to us. It's what I expected from Panera. It was just like the one I have at home. Clean, two counters (one for bakery and one for meals). Got a 1/2 and 1/2. Greek salad/mozzerella tomato sandwich. Ordered delivery. Door Dash delivered to wrong hotel even though the hotel name was listed in the order. I called Panera and they remade the food. Door Dash picked it up again and brought it to another wrong hotel. Seriously? I love to get Panera while I'm traveling (I travel a lot for work), but Door Dash frequently messes up the order somehow. I wish they would use a different delivery service. Employees need a lesson in customer service. Ordered broccoli mac n cheese, came out runny as hell like soup. I walked up to the counter to ask if there was a mistake and she said it comes prepackaged and thats how it is (without even looking at it). I said it's runny and I've never had it so runny before. She gave me a rude look and walked away to go talk to the others that put the food together. She came back and said that it wasn't runny and it is what it is. 45 dollars for lunch. Service - I ordered my favorites to go (not including their delicious apple & cheese pastry) the Sierra Turkey sandwich (less the Chipotle mayo) and the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad (apparently less the chicken???). They left off the chicken!!! Why would I order a Fuji Apple Chicken Salad w/ out chicken? I was sooo mad!! It was to late to go back after I was back in my hotel and comfortable. Did I mention I was mad? Food - The salad consists of citrus-herb chicken (sometimes), mixed field greens, romaine lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions, pecans, gorgonzola, apple chips & white balsamic apple vinaigrette. My sandwich consisted of smoked turkey breast w/ field greens, red onions on an asiago Cheese focaccia. I think focaccia means that we gotcha w/ a lot of calories. According to their website, 1000 to be exact (http://www.panerabread.com/?id=93'). That much in a tasty sandwich, I hate you Panera! The salad was tasty, even w/ out the chicken in the salad. Quality of a restaurant is measured by Cleanliness of its bathrooms! Bathroom at this Panera - I won't even take my DOG in it! I usually wouldn't waste my time reviewing a chain but I feel it necessary to comment about this particular experience. Nothing was wrong with the food (same as any Panera in America), but the girl who checked me out...rough. I recognize that a surly attitude is generally a result of a good old PP, but also...get it together. She was young, probably high school. Sauntered over without looking at me and started using the machine. I ordered. She didn't say one word to me until she absolutely had to, and then all she said was: "Name." At the end of this very pleasant and stimulating interaction I asked her if the wifi was password protected. She put up her hands and with wide eyes quickly goes, "honestly, I don't know." ... Oh I'm sorry, I thought you worked here. What!???! Ugh. Also I noticed that at least two other reviewers said they're usually out of things, which is funny because they were out of the tomato basil bread when I ordered the veggie sandwich. read more

Just went through the drive through. I was asked about my rewards card but not asked if I wanted to redeem any or told if I have any which I know I do. Wonderful place, smiling faces. Pleasant attitudes. Loads of people. Nice fireplace in the middle of the sitting areas. Warm & cozy. Tried the "Winter Squash"-($5.28, for a bowl) soup. So good. A bit pricey. Needed the warm soup after running around in the cold. Love the Baguette loaves, $3.05 a loaf. Good size loaf. Also a Blueberry Scone to top it off. Loads of blueberries, raw sugar on the crust. Since I had not been to a Panera Bread store in years, when they more of a donut shop with a small counter. I was more than surprised to see, that it is more of a meeting place & loads of people come to this one. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. Although the place was jam packed, the noise level was minimal. Just quiet talking & the enjoyment of good food & beverages. It's amazing, the difference. Wish I had more time to hang around. Probably not good though, I would have wanted to sample some more of the goodies as well. Also the drive thru was packed, a very long line. How do you mess up a grilled cheese sandwich? Grill only half of it and burn the side that actually cook. Understandable, mistakes happen, but don't let the food go out that way. Panera is expensive enough for what it puts out. The food prep line worker was also rude when I pointed out that our sides were missing on all three of our dinners. She acted like it was my fault! This has been one of the Worst experiences I've ever personally had consuming food in the 46 years I've been in this planet. And here's why. 1) I went to use the restroom before ordering, and was met with a urinal at the height of my big toe, this left my legs covered in urine. Preceding this I was given 86 degree burns by the scolding water temperature of the sink. 2)When ordering the food, there were no descriptions of any of the meal choices, so I was going on blind. A Truly gut wrenching experience. 3) After waiting for a total of 2 1/2 hours to receive a bowl of Mac-n-cheese, and 2 sandwiches, I had noticed, half the items in the bag were loose in the bag, and had made a huge mess, it had been like the people they had prepared my food we're playing basketball with my food. I had also not received a spoon for my Mac-n-cheese 4) the customer service, oo the customer service. Let's start with ordering the food. When I walked up to order, the computer didn't even say hello to me, or compliment my alligator skinned shoulder pads I was obviously rocking. And upon going back into the restaurant to receive my missing spoon, the man at the counter tried to reap my soul from my body with a stare that could kill a large heard of wallaby 5) as of the food itself I was truly disappointed with what was left after the great Panera massacre of 2019 colorized. The peppers on my sandwich absolutely incinerated my taste buds leaving my mouth numb for the next week, and causing the sandwich itself to become soggy with my tears, not only from the peppers but from the traumatic experience the Panera has provided. And once I thought I was in the home clear, eating the chips, almost every one sliced this inside of my mouth causing me to bleed out and nearly die. This concludes my review of this "restaurant" and I am truly disappointed that I could not give at least a 0 star review or a number in the negatives. read more
