Typically the food is pretty good. I come here often. After being a regular at another Panera in my previous hometown, this one lacks design, planning and convenience. There are no kiosk machines where you can conveniently type in your order if it's busy. You aren't allowed to grab your own butter (is stealing butter packets a thing here?), the drink machine is right next to the bathroom (gross) and the registers are in front and back instead of in one place, so it's usually a disorganized mess waiting to place an order. As a side note: today i ordered my usual Fuji Apple Chicken salad. After i returned to the table with my salad i noticed it was all romaine. I went back to the counter and was informed they were out of the mixed greens that are usually in the salad. They shouldve told me that when i ordered so i could've changed my order. They didn't offer to comp either. This location is mediocre compared to others I've been to. read more

The food was good, I Can't complain much there besides my frozen coffee not being much colder than chocolate milk. I went through the drive-thru for dinner, after not being to this restaurant in probably a year and a half. The employee that took my order was very rude. I found myself asking her a simple question about a coffee I used to love, and her responses throughout my whole order were just short and rude. I travel every week for work. I'm usually happy to find a Panera close to the hotel I'm staying at because I usually get good food and service. I've been to this one three times (drive thru) and have had three bad experiences. Each time the kid working the register crumbles my receipt and tosses it into the trash as I'm requesting a copy of my receipt, then rolls his eyes before printing another copy. Each sandwich/panini has looked like it was wrapped up, thrown against a wall, then put in the bag and handed to me. I don't think I'll be ordering from this location again. read more

A typical trip to the Perrysburg Panera at 10:30 Sunday morning. No soufflés, absolutely no bagels (not 1!), no cinnamon rolls or pecan braids. Come on Panera, it's Sunday morning - lots of people venture out for their Sunday breakfast! How can you not be prepared for this. Very hit or miss. Most of the time I get a grilled cheese and soup. Most of the time the grilled cheese isn't grilled. The cheese is mostly melted, but the bread may as well be pulled from the shelf. Sometimes they get the order wrong. Once I didn't have any sides. Went here tonight and was disappointed. I got the pick two, chicken salad sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. I got it to go and when I got home I noticed my soup was about half filled. The food here is not cheap and I am also watching my calorie intake so for there to be less food than what a serving is it is very hard to accurately calculate my calories. My sandwich had tomatoes on them that were basically see through. I know it is winter so tomatoes may not be in season but they just looked plain gross on my sandwich and I took them off. I also don't like how when you go in you don't really know which line to get into because there is one by the bakery area but then a few further down. People lining the walk ways so you awkwardly have to walk past them because there is not really an area for a line. I also didn't know what to do once I ordered, so I go down by where you get your food to eat inside or wait by the registers? I figured it out but it's just a hassle to go in and get your food. Food is fine. Customer service is lacking. Nobody ever answers the phone when you call in an order. Seriously- like calling repeatedly for 1/2 hour. This isn't a one time occurrence -has happened several times. Same Panera recording telling me to press 5 for a manager, 2 to place order. Burnt beagle every time! I lived in Perrysburg for 6 months. Panera has always been my favorite spot for a beagle and coffee. At first everything was great, beagle was fresh and properly baked, my caramel latte was on point. For the past three months the beagle has been way over cooked to the point it is hard and burnt, the drink has tasted mostly like water. The same thing is true for any other food I have tried at this location, over cooked and burnt. Even though I live 5 miles from this location I now drive to the Maumee location and their beagles and coffee have been perfect. Other than no drive thru I would suggest driving the extra miles to get something edible! At times I have even went to Barry's Beagles and bypassed my rewards just to get good food. Tried them one last time two days ago to see if they fixed there issues and it has only gotten worse. I have talk to the manager, so I was told, but no one seemed to care. So Maumee or Barry's here I come! I am a 3 -4 time a week customer so I am sure I will be appreciated somewhere. read more

Let's start by saying that THIS panera has a DRIVE THRU- which it completely amazing. Now, on to the food. Panera has SUCH a huge menu and it's always adding in great seasonal dishes. This summer they added the BBQ chicken flatbread and salad....to die for! And they did a watermelon/feta salad.....swoon! One of my favorite combinations. The baguette that comes with your meal will become addicting, their m&m cookies and other amazing pastries will have you singing and don't even get me started on their breakfast souffles.
