VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered online and picked it up. 2 orders were put on the counter to be picked up and I grab the one with my name. when I got there the screen said they were checking my order and making sure it was right. I drove all the way home got my food out to give to my family to find out. I had the other person's but my name there I called. I talked to the manager. He of course, said he would refund my nothing and I explained that my family was still hungry and would like my order so he stated he would remake my order. Awful service, the child behind the counter acted like they did not want to be there. The staff appeared to be mostly younger teenagers. My order was wrong after clarifying it 3 times, and they threw the receipt in my father's bowl of chili. Music was too loud, and it was apparent that none of the staff valued creating a pleasant environment for customers. Would only eat here again if everything else magically closed on any given day. Surprised to see a Panera Bread with a drive-thru. Everything went very well with my experience. The drive-thru was busy but quick. And my breakfast just the way I wanted it. I really liked the packaging. Specially the wrapping for sandwiches, it's the best one I've seen in a drive-thru. It has a pocket so you don't have to worry about making a mess in your car. I also appreciate the fact that they were able to give me a piece of their coffee cake even though it's only sold as a whole through the app. With "the new normal", knowing that Panera Bread has a drive-thru will keep me coming back! read more

Placed a mobile order at 1:06 got to the drive thru at 1:16. Spent 45 minutes in line, finally got up to the window for them to tell me they were out of the item I ordered. I was offered something else, I turned it down due to having to get back to work (mind you I get an hour for lunch). It was highly disappointing. I gave this Panera location several chances before writing this review. I've been working in Sussex, and I stay at a hotel nearby. I like to use the Panera app to order breakfast for Rapid Pickup on my way to work. On my very first visit here a month or so ago my breakfast sandwich had been really good. But since then the service and food has really gone downhill. I use Rapid Pickup at other locations and my food is always ready and waiting, with my name on the outside of the bag, on the Rapid Pickup rack at the scheduled time. Usually the time given is five or six minutes after I order. Well- this location doesn't understand how Rapid Pickup works. And they also don't understand how to prepare a hot, fresh breakfast sandwich. I love the over-easy egg breakfast sandwiches, and usually I order an egg and white cheddar on brioche bun. The first time I ordered from here my bag wasn't on the pickup rack at the stated time, so I hung around for awhile. Finally an employee noticed me and asked what I had ordered, and when I told her she pointed to a bag sitting on the counter. No name on the outside, and it wasn't on the Rapid Pickup rack so I wouldn't have known it was my order, even if I had seen the bag. Apparently it had been sitting for awhile because it wasn't hot and didn't taste fresh. I gave them another chance the very next day, figuring maybe that had just had a bad morning. This time when I didn't see my bag on the rack I knew to look on the counter, and sure enough, there it was, and it even had my name on the outside like it was supposed to. Unfortunately this sandwich was a mess! When I got in my car and opened the box it was full of liquid egg yolk, the yolk had spread in the box and some spilled out the seat of my rental car when I opened it. Check out the photo of this egg! Well, I really love Panera so I gave them another opportunity. The very next morning i ordered the same sandwich and i looked both in the rack and on the counter, no bags. I waited a few minutes and an employee set two bags on the counter. He didn't say a word to me even though I was standing there waiting. No names on either bag, and by now a couple other customers were also waiting for orders. Finally we started looking inside the bags to find out which bag belonged to each customer. Neither was mine, but a few minutes later an employee asked if I was waiting for an egg and cheese, and then she handed me my bag. This sandwich was hot and fresh, a really tasty breakfast. It hadn't been ready at the scheduled time, but it was a good sandwich. Encouraged by the relative success of my last visit, a couple weeks later I returned to this Panera. Again I ordered on the app and went inside to pick up. This time I barely glanced at the Rapid Pickup rack since I didn't really expect to see my bag there. I went to stand in front of the counter and there were three or four other customers standing there waiting. There were several bags on the counter, one bag had a receipt on the outside and the others did not. No employees were around so finally we started peaking into the bags to identify what was inside. A few people found their orders, mine was not among them. Finally after several more minutes another bag was set on the counter, and this one was mine. It had taken more than twice as long as the time stated on the app to get my food. I grabbed my bag and got in my car. When I took my sandwich out I noticed that the bun was very over toasted, it was dry with burn marks. The cheese wasn't melted and the egg was cold. Cold as in chilled, like it had been cooked and set in the refrigerator? That was my last visit to this location. I gave this Panera several opportunities, but I will just have to find another restaurant for breakfast. read more

Worst Panera I've ever been to. Unfortunately I live in the city. Nine out of 10 times my order is wrong when I come here. I was even given a free pick two coupon for my last screwed up order and they even screwed this order up. It's not rocket science I'm not ordering odd things or special requests that aren't on the menu. The manager that I spoke to today didn't even offer an apology after I had to drive back 15 minutes to get the correct item. I've had it. I hope this location goes out of business and some other Resturant that is competent can provide better service in the future. read more

They just cannot get it together. Drive thru is closed most of the day and they are often completely out of staple menu items such as soup (not serving today for example). Coffee regularly runs out and they are slow to refill dispensers. It's really at its worst on the weekend when it seems the lower management crew is there. Pathetic. Asked for no cheese on my sandwich and it shows up with cheese. It was corrected but an employee had to come back out to make sure what kind of bagel I wanted. I wasn't even offered the free treat as stated on the receipt for the mistake. For a company that's on the expensive side, they acted like we don't make mistakes. Went through the drive through at 8:30 they close at 9:00 ... I was expecting a bit of attitude but not refusal of service . Was picking up food for three people . Everything we had originally wanted was in her words " packed up for the night but if you come back in the morning you can order it " followed by a snide comment of " you know we close in 30 minutes rite " Yeah lady I'm aware of that ... 30 minutes is still 30 minutes... someone must be confused about daylight savings time . The food we did get was half made .. See picture of French onion soup ... no cheese or croutons(which is arguably the best part of the french onion soup ) ... I received broth with onions . Updating my older 3 star review and moving it down to a 2 star. Sorry but the food is good, but the service is lacking, and it take much longer than it should to get food out to the customers. The rapid pick-up is the only saving grace at this location in my opinion. The last 2 times i've dined at this location i was 20 minutes to get my food, that is inexcusable. I have a 30-40 minute lunch break and by the time i get to this location, get my food i pretty much have to inhale it or leave and try and eat at work. The last time i went i over heard 2 other tables complaining that they are going to be late to get back to school and another person said how they would be late back to work. Not quite the fast break lunch stop it should be. Though the rapid pick-up hasn't let me down, and the food is typically hot and the order is correct. I usually only go to Panera about once every four months because of their bad service but my friends convinced me to go today. I arrived at the pewaukee panera and ordered a bowl of summer corn chowder, chips and a cup for lemonade. It was very busy because it was around lunch time and I proceeded to get my lemonade. After waiting 34 minutes to be exact and my friends had waited 20 mins for their food, my friend went up and got my food from the counter begging for it ASAP because we had to leave within 5 min for my other friends football practice. I got my food and it wasn't even what I ordered. I ordered the soup and chips and I got the soup, bread and a cookie. Do not appreciate waiting forever to end up not getting what I asked for. Other customers were complaining too about the slow service when they needed to get back to work for business. 05/07/19 just woke up from the night and felt terrible, I go to the bathroom and instantly throw up all my Panera food from the night before. I believe I got food poisoning as things never work out when I go to this Panera. I ordered the summer chowder and a tomato, bacon, grilled cheese and water. Ordered a sandwich without onions and received onions on it; ordered a side item of an apple, to find the bottom completely rotten. Yes, the employee that exchanged the apple was just as grossed out as me - the crinkled face said it all. How disgusting. What makes it worse, is that they didn't really want to make up for the mistake of serving something so unappetizing. All I have to say is: good luck. I work at a large company that orders from this Panera often. Yes, we know lunchtime is super busy and they might mess up. All I ask is that they rectify the situation. They have messed up several times, but this time specifically was rather frustrating. I ordered the Fuji Apple Salad and this comes with the sweet white balsamic dressing. However, what came in my salad was Horseradish sauce. Yep. So I called them at 11:30 to hopefully bring me a new one, they said they'd come right out. Awesome, I was thrilled. Our office is 5 min away so it was to be here quick! 12:30 rolls around and nothing has come. So I call again. The manager said they had sent it out the first time I called but clearly we didn't have it. She asked for my number and said she'd call me 'right back'. 1:30 rolls around and still no updates or deliveries. At this point I just wanted my money back at least, so I called again and now spoke to someone new who knew nothing of the situation and wanted to send a free coupon. But I just wanted the dressing! I normally attempt to get the issue resolved before posting reviews but after getting hung up on by 3 various employees here we are. I had a delivery order for anytime between 12-12:15. The delivery driver got to my work at 11:45 and became upset when I stated I could not come get my food until noon when my lunch started. This review is based on a business lunch that I had to order for a business meeting. While i generally use their catering service for business meetings, I only had 11 people and so I called in the order. They did not mark any of the sandwiches. Not even the one that was requested "no onions". So not only did I have to ask our clients to play seek and find with their plain wrapped sandwiches... They also needed to open the sandwiches to see which had onions. When I called the corporate office to complain that I was embarrassed by this event. I was told that they were sorry, but that it was corporate policy to only mark the catering orders. So apparently, if you are not ordering through their catering, Panera has decided that they don't need to offer any dignity for the masses. This is inexcusable. Seriously, any order with more than one item should be marked with some identifier. How much does a grease pencil cost? My business, that's what it cost. Every other sandwich place marks multiple orders, but Panera is apparently above that. This was an embarrassment, and one that won't happen again. read more

I do not understand why I keep giving Panera chance. I work right off Capitol, just a short way away from Panera. It always seems a logical spot for breakfast or lunch. I am, however, always grossly disappointed with the quality of the food and end up throwing most of it away. The paninis as is, come with this absolutely horrible radish sauce. It's among the worst things I have ever tasted. No amount of scrapping salvages your sandwich if you forget to ask them to leave it off. Even when they don't put the sauce on there, these paninis are barely edible. I got one the other day where the bacon was rock hard, I couldn't bite through it. I picked up a bagel this morning, and it was burnt and stale tasting, just overall gross. I think I've finally learned my lesson. My local panera, and a biased review (yep calling it out). My wife loves this chain, and it's one of the few places I can get a lunch I enjoy that can be healthy as well. This location is clean, and the service is pretty good for this chain. The food is consistent and that's all I can ask for in this case. We are just less than a mile away, yet Panera is unable to manage their delivery schedule and get us our lunches within a reasonable amount of time. Called in order at 10:30 am, yet it is now 1:15 pm and NO LUNCH. After calling multiple times with NO answer, we sent someone out to get our lunch. This location has gone down hill precipitately. My Frontega Chicken sandwich never has the right ingredients on it. Most often there are no herbs included with it even though t's supposed to have basil on it. Tonight they put cilantro on it. Sigh. The chicken on it used to be nice chunks.
