While in the area around lunch time I had no lunch plans so when I saw cousins I thought I could go for a sub and I do like the bread. The place was bright and clean looking was my first thought and my second was the layout which was different from any other location because as you walk in there is three dining areas. Straight ahead on the right is literally a dining room with a low wall around it and two separate dining areas on each side of the front door. Before I could look at the menu I was pounced on by the cashier but I would have the provolone meat ball sub which I seem to get at at least once a year and it was about time. I sat in the window seat and before I could snap a couple pictures my food was handed to me, literally 3 minutes from start to finish was completely amazing for any cousins visit. The provolone meat ball sub was consistent with the cousins franchise so I know what I'm getting. It's bland meat balls, watery mild sauce, melted provolone on fresh bread. No it's now the absolute best but I don't have good meat ball place in my head because I just don't eat them enough. Overall the service was probably the fastest from any cousins for a lunch time hi noon visit so I can't complain about anything. read more

2 stars for Cousin's? WTF is that. No way. This is the Cousin's I hit up for lunch from work and they do a good job getting me my lunch correct. This is one of two Cousin's near the office but the only one with a grill! And that there makes the difference. I can get French fries and a Philly Cheese-steak hooked up just the way I want. I've had no bad service experiences here and if I ever were too, I'm sure they would make sure I left a happy customer. The cousins on kossow road in Waukesha, made my cheese steak horrible. It had none of my vegetable's on it. I opened my sub, and the cheese and steak where all over the wrapper hanging out. It didn't taste right like it usually does. I got sick to my stomach the next day. I usually go there all the time. read more

Honestly it's hard to say anything bad about this Cousins location and it might be one of the better locations i've been to. This location is actually not the closest location to my work but i prefer this location based on the service. They have a system at this location that simply works, everyone knows what to do and how to do it and it ensures no one waits very long. The store is always up kept and tidy, and the staff is friendly. I feel like the portions at this particular location are slightly bigger than other cousins, but i could be wrong seems other cousins in the area have been skimping on the sandwiches. read more

Order from them frequently, rarely ever anything wrong and when it is, a simple phone call fixes it all. The store is always very clean, the employees attentive and actually able to meet your gaze rather than staring off into the distance or trying to get a glance at their phones. I applaud the managers for training their staff so well. I just want to say I mostly go in in the mornings. Afternoon and evenings are usually a delivery. All I can say here is I recommend pick up. Cousins uses door dash, and door dash is going downhill fast. But, Cousins is always the same, absolutely delicious. read more

The subs are good Cousins subs, the service can be really bad. Sent in an online order and they ignored it, no apologies, nothing. Now that their subs average $6 a half you think they wouldn't treat you like you were bothering them. Kind of rude when you think about it. read more

To preface this review, the 2 stars is for the horrible service not the food. At around 3pm we arrived, long after the lunch rush and we were the only ones there. Midway through giving our order, the manager yelled at our cashier from across the kitchen, which we found incredibly inappropriate, especially being managers ourselves in the hospitality industry (we're both chefs on an executive level at local hotels). Although visibly flustered we continued giving her our order, explaining we understand bad days happen as we're in the business and to not worry. I started digging for my wallet and when i looked up she was gone. Turns out the manager had called her down to fix whatever it was she was yelling about. When she returned she was so flustered she almost didn't realize we hadn't paid yet. We waited for our food, said "wow, that was fast" when it was done and left. Upon arriving home we realized only 2 of the 3 subs we ordered were in the bag. Should we have checked before leaving? Yes, however this is about customer service and here's where it got worse. We called the store, after being put on hold 3 times and speaking with 3 different people we finally got what I'm assuming was the manager. I explained again what was missing and that we were just there 5 minutes ago. I was put on hold again, and when she returned defensively told us what we ordered which did not include the 3rd sandwich. We explained we told the girl 3 subs and said we could come back to pick it up right away. She said ok and hung up before I could ask about a discount for the inconvenience. So we went back, walked in, she said "here for the sub?", we said yes, and she proceeded to ring it up. Here's where I stopped her. I asked if she was the manager, she was. Explained that the verbal discipline from across the kitchen (which is also unacceptable in front of customers) completely flustered the girl, we did give her our complete order but she was just mentally out of it by then. That's when I asked what she could do for us by way of a discount. She said she was unable to give a discount without a coupon. And said we could each have a bag of chips. Just wanting to be done with it and go home and eat after an hour long ordeal said fine, paid full price and left. At no point during this entire ordeal did we hear an "I'm sorry" or see a smile, and at no point did we yell, we were calm and courteous the whole time. Had there been any ounce of respect for another human being in general or sign of remorse this would have been just another case of bad customer service, but instead it ruined the majority of my only day off. they suck customer service is HORRIBLE !!!! Went in again today and the order was wrong told the manager that the outside lights were not on got a "look" and she walked away. Thanks I love being acknowledged in that "friendly manner" called to let them know that the order was again made wrong and their phone service was very static -- kept cutting out . They acted like they didn't give a shit. THEY ALL ACTED LIKE THE CUSTOMER IS A PAIN IN THIER ASS !! LIKE the others have said you pay good $$ for a sub and you get nothing in customer service and wrong subs I dropped 36. on 4 subs that only 1 was right !!! don't even bother to go they wont get your order right and NONE of them are friendly place is clean that is the only thing that is 5 star. TOTALLY AGREE !!! with the review Kristin gave -- this is how we are treated to at the Pewaukee on capitol drive store NO respect, no consideration, no concern , no customer service .
