First of all, fix your ordering kiosks or don't use any. I spent good time creating my order, only to learn from the cashier that it wasn't working, she would have to place my order at the register. I specifically told her several times that the Greek salad was to go and the sandwich I was eating at the restaurant. What do they bring me? The salad in a bowl and the sandwich in a bag. After I told the server that they got it wrong, she said she would bring me a to go container. So here I am having to dump the salad into that container, now the salad is upside down. And nowI have to unwrap the sandwich. It's not rocket science people. Please train your teenage staff to try a little harder. Plus I also asked for papaya tea, they brought me regular tea. read more

My favorite part--it made the salad. Did PB get rid of them? One of the tiny dressing cups they gave me was basically empty. Looks like maybe someone left a closed-lid (but used) one on a table and they picked it up and put it back for use. ? Also ordered a whole tuna sandwich and most of it was completely dry. There was a small glob on the corner of each quarter--hardly any tuna. If I'm paying over $10 for a sandwich there better be more than 1.5 tablespoons of tuna on it. Disappointed in my $40 meal. Had the Asian Salad (expected a bit more than a bowl full of romaine for $11), chicken noodle soup (barely had any chicken), French onion soup bread bowl, their new flatbread and baguettes! Everything was ok, though I can't help but recall a particularly disheartening situation I experienced the last time I was here (almost a yr ago)! I'm just now getting back to them since the last time I placed a rapid Pick up order and they had me wait 20 min+ in the parking lot when we counted 12 cars that went through the drive through! I read the reviews on this Panera and after seeing 2 and a half stars I wasn't feeling too great about placing our order here! I was worried and I read quite a few reviews to make sure I knew what I was to check for or to expect! For once the REVIEWERS let me down!! When my boyfriend got the food I told him I needed a second to check our order to make sure it was all correct before we left! My biggest thing is that when I change a few ingredients on a sandwich the meat seems to be less to make up for the veggies that I add! This goes for ANY sandwich place I've ever placed an order at! I'm so used to getting less of what normally comes on a sandwich because I add extras! The service here is so off putting, it lacks customer service according to the ticket cashier leanor.. obviously shows she doesn't want to be there to work. Which I can get but put that aside when you're with customers. I was up there earlier this week while waiting for an event. I have a few comments. 1. It looks like they have fixed the issue with the disgusting benches -- I checked them all out because I'm sensitive to that sort of thing, and they all seemed fine. 2. With respect to cleanliness in general, they had one employee who was cleaning all the tables as soon as people left. Having said that, there was still spilled food on the floor and that was gross. 3. It really is a great place to work -- lots of single tables and outlets. FYI it's an open connect so ANYONE can see what you're sending through their WIFI. 4. The espresso was really really good. I was surprised. Medium body and acidity. 5. They lose a star because the food wasn't really good at all. I haven't been to a Panera in many years, and I remember their food being good, but this wasn't. Not at all. I got a bageuette sandwich, and the bread was great and the dressing was good, but the other ingredients were sub-par. It was 1,000 calories, and that was a total waste of calories. I love the fact that this Panera has a drive-through. Perfect for those who need a quick bite during lunch break that is not fast food. But other than that, as much as I love Panera's food, their over-pricey menu really makes me hesitant to go there regularly. Again, I really do enjoy their food; their tomato soup is really tasty. However this day, I had ordered their broccoli cheddar soup and it was cold and lumpy. I didn't enjoy it at all. The salad and sandwich were good though. Again, due to the prices, I can't afford to eat here every lunch hour, but I will continue to go there for the occasional treat, and I will sure as heck make sure my soup isn't lumpy. read more

The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was it opens at 9am compare to other locations in the Austin area that open at 8am. So then I went to their website at Panera and ordered through that and they first delayed my order by half an hour and then canceled it altogether. I ordered via DoorDash for pick up I arrived 5 or so minutes after my app said it was ready , I went to the pick up Area and the person working behind the counter rudely told me they would Call names ... I Watch to put together at least five orders in the next 15 minutes and she never called anyone's name. Don't get me wrong, I love Panera Bread but I hate their online ordering system for the following reason: The online system doesn't quite sync up (or so I've been told by employees)to their actual inventory so as a result, we have been missing items on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. I would hope that maybe an employee would say "hey!! You're missing something!" But that has never happened and we ALWAYS go home and have to turn around to come back. But if you can look past the issue of paying for items will never receive, the food you will (hopefully) receive is very very good. This Panera is so disappointing. They are consistently forgetting ingredients and are extremely sloppy in preparation. What does come on the salads or sandwiches, is sparse! The salads have little toppings and hardly any dressing. Sandwiches are missing ingredients and dry. It seems like they are trying to stretch the ingredients and what they put on salads/sandwiches is minimal in quantity. We love Panera Bread and have eaten at lots of their locations. The food at this location is good, but the level of service leaves a lot to be desired! I don't look for perfect service. These are difficult times for all of us. So I make sure I keep that in mind when I deal with frontline staff. But, I do feel it's reasonable to expect a small amount of courtesy and proper safety measures. On our last visit, the lady that served us was not only rude, but was wearing an orange bandana, "bandit style," which experts consider practically useless as protection. For someone dealing with the public, I would think the safety of customers would take precedence over making a fashion statement. This visit may have been our last one at this location. read more

The drive thru was closed so I went inside no problem they open at 10 and it was 10:30 but the doors were locked someone coming out said they were open you just have to knock? When they let me I asked about breakfast but I guess they don't offer anymore? Wow. This Panera has been getting worse and worse, but tonight's visit really showed how far it has fallen. After a 10 minute wait in the drive-thru, we were handed a bag with a tuna sandwich that was so poorly wrapped it immediately fell out, ruining the sandwich and getting tuna all over the car. In spite of the long wait, the only other item I ordered, mac and cheese, wasn't even hot. This is reminiscent of the last 2 or 3 visits where items were poorly made or completely missing from our order. Came in for dine in. I used an order I had before for my salad. I went to pick it up and noticed there where sliced grape tomatoes on it. I was clearly frustrated with them at the window and the manager said if there isn't a note about no tomatoes it comes with it. I was frustrated and went to my table to scoop them off. Came here after nearby IHOP was busy and to long of wait. We saw the sign for soup and figured, it's a cold day let's grab some soup. Came inside, went to order soup but because it was breakfast they didn't have soup in the menu. But we were told that we could order it. So my wife ordered the soup. I ordered the green smoothie and oatmeal. Waited a while as our food trickled in. No soup, no oatmeal. The server came back and said, she didn't have soup and I didn't order oatmeal. After explains that I did order oatmeal I pointed at the display and said I wanted both. She agreed to grab an oatmeal and then proceeded to never show back up. We waited awhile before we had to leave. Terrible experience. The food we did get was good. But it wasn't what we ordered. This WAS a nice location. I don't know what has happened. The guests were more polite/professional than the staff when I visited last week. They were totally disengaged. One staff member was wearing their pants below their behind. It was so unprofessional. Same person was taking orders and walking around the food preparation area with a chin diaper on (nose fully exposed). Of course, they didn't put the dressing in our salad (didn't discover until home) and they didn't put the croutons in for our soup and the soup was cold. I realized about the croutons and went back in and politely asked if I could have some & the "cook" was short w/ me & offered no apology. We ordered our food at an order station. After receiving our order we realized that we hadn't received a receipt so my husband went back up to get the receipt to attach to his expense report. He was told he couldn't have a receipt because he hadn't selected the email option, which, we didn't see. We left to go to our car and I realized I had forgotten my phone on the table. When my husband went back in to retrieve it, he overheard the staff making fun, saying we couldn't understand what my husband was being told about the receipt policy. Its a bad policy to not provide a receipt when asked. If you have to select an option for a receipt to be emailed, it should be CLEARLY shown on the ordering station. Employees shouldn't make a habit making fun of clients who have left the store especially when clients still inside the store can overhear. On Saturday 01/18/23 I did an online order for the pick 2 soup and salad combo and a drink.My husband went to pick it up I noticed on the emailed receipt that the order was in correct so I called him.I wanted a soup and I customized the Greek salad to add more things to it. Somehow my soup order was kicked off and it did a customized Greek salad and 1 regular Greek salad.I asked my husband to speak with someone who could change this for me since it was incorrect mind you this was while he was still at the restaurant, he never left. The associate amayra started yelling that she wasn't changing anything that it was my mistake we even explained the situation and she still refused saying she didn't have to do anything for us, she said that she would have to throw it in the trash which she wasn't going to do my husband even offered to just buy the soup and she refused. All while I'm in the phone with him I could hear the interaction finally I told him to just leave with both salads it was fine in which he proceeded to do then she threatened to call the police which upset my husband due to us having already pain for something and not having a good customer service experience so he told her that he wanted a refund and didn't want any of it she refused and she called the police. My husband stayed and waited for the police explained what happened and they couldn't even figure out why she made it so difficult to fix the order the police asked her to do a refund in which we had to get a case# in case she never did the refund.
