We love the Sip Club! We've been to dozens of Panera locations in four different states so far. The staff here were friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious as always. The patio needed and dining room needed to be cleaned a bit.

Just a quick lunch break here. Based on their seasonal Asian crunch salad I made my own creation - and here is my tip: Whenever a restaurant has an app I'll always use that to order since it gives you all the options. At Panera it's never cheap but you get your salad or sandwich the way you want it. And as a side of my "you take two" I'll had the seasonal Mexican street corn soup. Ends with a bear claw and we have a happy helper.

I temper my expectations when ordering from Panera and even then I often find myself disappointed. Ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich and it was blah. A couple pieces of avocado wrapped up with cold, flavorless stuff. On a positive note, the soup was good and was enough for a lunch's. I enjoy the small piece of bread for dipping.

Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, I have to share mine! It's got cut-in-half grapes, there's tomatoes & slivers of almonds.

2nd time we have food to go, or ate there, during the pandemic! We ordered by phone, we were parked right there in front of the restaurant, talking to them. (OT: A SUV / car crashed, behind us, both backing up at the same time, no one was hurt). We ordered: Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, it came with chips, so don't order by phone, and a pickle. Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, also with chips & a pickle. Broccoli Cheddar Soup. It wasn't long, before the clerk came out to give us our order. Yes, it was fast! Yes, my husband looked inside the bag, and NO he didn't take everything out, HE TRUSTED PANERA, then we drove away to have a picnic @ the marina. Once we got there, we realized, they forgot to put my husband's sandwich in the bag! I called right away, to let them know. Luckily, it's on the way BACK HOME, to our home! The mail clerk, apologized, he said there's a goodie inside the bag. Thank you! That will be for our dinner. Let's see, I'm not a YELP ELITE member for nothing I'd give you a 4-5 stars, next time? If the food wasn't so good . . .you just need to improve the CS part, OK?

I think a lot of the reviews are more based on Covid and whatnot. Because I've eaten at this location and my wife has been a few times and there's been no complaints. The food is consistent just like any other Panera Bread, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I mean there's not really much else you can ask for. I tried the grilled mac and cheese sandwich which is a newer item and it was super good. Pair it with the tomato soup. I don't go to Panera Bread all the time but it's definitely a good place for a cheap lunch. Pro tip: If you have an Amex Platinum card, they have a free six months of the Unlimited Sip Club which is basically free coffee every day. So if you like Panera Bread coffee and tea and you have an Amex Platinum, it's a good deal.

It also suffers slightly from that association, as one might consider it "hospital food", with all of its sordid associations. Thankfully, I can confirm there's nothing to worry about here. It's not "top shelf" sushi, by any means, but what they offer is still delicious, prepared competently and quickly, and priced affordably. My wife and I dined here after an entire half-day spent in a series of appointments and check-ups, and were famished by the time we wandered over to check this place out (we'd been meaning to ever since our last extended visit to OHSU). Among the multiple rolls in our order, the Miso Sexy and the Valentine rolls stood out among our favorites; they also make a decent miso soup here, too: not too watery, not too strong, but just right! As my wife is pregnant (again!), I know another visit to Momiji is on the horizon, as we will definitely be delivering at OHSU again. When that time comes, there's no doubt I'll be sneaking out of the delivery room, skipping the cafeteria, and making a bee-line straight for this place, likely smuggling a spicy tuna hand roll or two back with me (my wife's favorite).

I was looking for food nearby and came across this restaurant. The food was surprisingly delicious! We ordered the chicken katsu curry, kama-age udon (hokkai miso soup), and the kama-meshi seafood. The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside! The sauce also was the perfect texture and taste. My favorite was the kama-age udon with the hokkai miso soup. I love udon but sometimes don't like how thick it is because it fills you up faster and is harder to digest, the udon here is thinner which I fell in love with! It's soft and chewy and the perfect thickness: you dip it on the soup when you eat it. I also loved the soup, I usually have leftover soup when eat noodles, but I finished every last sip! Definitely recommend this dish if you were to only order one item! We also ordered the kama-meshi seafood. I thought this one tasted okay! The flavors of the seafood come through, but I personally like stronger and heavier flavors. It was worth a try! Parking: This restaurant is in downtown portland so it was difficult to find parking. We ended up parking at a nearby garage and paid for parking. They do have a few street parking spots near the restaurant if you want to test your luck! Seating and service: We were seated really quickly as we went on a weekday! They have several tables and a large table that can be reserved as well as bar spots. The restaurant overall looks really nice and is pretty spacious. The servers were really nice and fast to get you what you need! A side note: they have heated toilet seats in their restroom so that's always a plus!

With the plethora of eats to choose from, a friendly/efficient staff and service, and in or outdoor seating available, Elephants Delicatessen is a spot that's a must visit when you're in this fun city! There are multiple counters for different types of food. There's a sandwich/soup station, a pizza station, a hot foods station (for burgers & specialties), a cold deli station for cold salads/sides, and a bar/barista inside for adult beverages or coffee. Additionally, there's an area to purchase bottled wine and jams/jellies. Grab whatever items you order and pay at the register. If you order from a station, bring your ticket with you as that's where you get charged. Pretty much any type of deli flavor you're looking for, you can find it here. Some of my favorites involve the following: -Teriyaki Chicken Wings -Curried Chickpea Salad -Reuben Sandwich -Tomato Bisque -Corn & Crab Chowder -Broccoli Salad -Turkey and Avocado Sandwich -Pizza Slices (All of them!) The best thing about it was the location, beautiful area right on the water and the restaurant itself was pretty. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out for me. Maybe I am spoiled living in Los Angeles where there are so many Dim Sum places and dumpling houses. The concept with this restaurant is that it is family style, so it is meant to share, which is great, but the portions I would are small for family style. The noodles are enough for one, dumplings and potstickers, I guess for a small family may be ok, but we had a large group, so we had to order 3-4 of each thing just so people could have some. Probably my favorite thing on the menu were the sweet and spicy cucumbers, although not spicy at all, which was a trend. The dishes that were supposed to be spicy were not, even when we asked for the chili oil, that somehow did not have a spice level to it that was measurable. We ordered cucumbers, noodles, potstickers, dumplings and baos all have options for fried and steamed we got some of each, fried rice, beef pancake rolls, five spice beef, spicy beef (which both tasted the same) and some other items. The best things for me were the cucumbers, the fried potstickers and the jasmine tea. They bring you the dishes as they are ready so the service is constant as they come out. Can be a little slow, but our server was nice and kept track of everything for us and made sure our drinks were full, thank you. Atmosphere - 5 Service- 4 Food - 3 If the location and atmosphere was not so amazing, probably would have given a 3 based on the food, not bad and some high points, but mostly just average IMO. Great vibes here though and would probably come back for that alone and see if it is a different experience with a smaller group or a single family. Enjoy!
