    Bruised strawberries

This is one of the nicer venues of the chain but pretty surprised to receive such bruised, inedible strawberries on my salad.

it keeps getting worse! I'm a glutton for punishment I suppose. Also, this is the third time this week the restaurant has had NO CLEAN DISHES for eating in person. and no warning customers until they've made the food already.

Ok! Being single sometimes means I go out more often or don't feel like just cooking for myself. Out shopping at Target, is was getting late and I was hungry. This Panera Bread is located right off Rt1 in West Windsor, NJ, Nassau Park Shopping Center. You all know with all the changes, they accept mobile orders, in store pickup and I also believe they will still bring it to your car when you arrive, you may want to just double check that though. I went for my normal Fuji Apple Chicken Salad with extra chicken, extra avocado, extra onion, no tomatoes and extra dressing. Just as expected the order came out complete with all the extras I asked for. This Panera is clean, and food service was speedy!

Ok this is by far the worst Panera I've ever visited. It's filthy. The Asian Sesame Salad had dark meat chicken and was drenched in dressing. Literally I'm eating my bread. And so are the birds btw bc the exterior trash cans are overflowing with garbage. Embarrassing. Do better Panera Princeton.

Racism or pure laziness? After waiting 10 minutes in line behind one woman, the cashier gives me an attitude. But I let it slide, after all you're the one working for $8 an hour... not me. So After receiving my order which specifically said "no pickle" due to my allergy..... there's a pickle on my sandwich. This has happened 3 times at this location, so I go back in and ask to speak to the manager. The manager apologized and said he'll make it himself. So he "re-made" the sandwich......and left a nice little surprise in it. Not even bothering to go back for a complete refund which I should've gotten in the first place. If I was white this would've been handled much differently and I would've gotten an actual fresh sandwich lol. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS LOVELY PIC POSTED BELOW! Welcome to Princeton. Where the people who can actually afford to LIVE here get treated like the people who ONLY WORK HERE. Haha, simply ridiculous.

Half "Spicy Thai Chicken Salad" and half "Frontega Chicken Panini" with side of baguette (somewhat burnt)

I've been here several times in the past, but my Most recent visit was here for dinner with a friend. We came in around 8:30 PM for dinner. The cafe was fairly empty and quiet which was nice. I find that this specific Panera has a very nice ambiance and spacious seating accommodations. Both my friend and I placed our orders in the screens in the front of the cafe. I ordered a "You Pick Two" meal consisting of a half "Spicy Thai Chicken Salad" and a half "Frontega Chicken Panini." I switched out the chipotle mayo for white bean purée, which I an a huge fan of. I also ordered with a side of bread. Overall my meal was tasty, and I found that the sandwich portion was generous. I've had past issues where some sandwiches are made very inconsistently in size. However, this time my only issue was the taste and quality of the baguette. The baguette at Panera is a favorite of mine. However, this time the outside was very hard and tasted over cooked. Overall, my experience was good. The server who brought out our meals was friendly, and the orders were made accurately. I would recommend this specific Panera to anyone looking for a good cafe.

Not a fan of chain restaurants but this one is an exception. Fresh vibrant salads, healthy and tasty sandwiches. Kids adore the mac and cheese here. Fairly good customer service and beautiful outdoor seating during summers! And of course the bagels with the blueberry cream cheese is such a yummy start to the day :)

If you are going to charge me more by being fancy, You had better be fancy and good. Fortunately Aspendo's delivers. * * * I was there on an academic lunch with an exciting scholar. That kind of thing can happen in a restaurant next to the Princeton campus. This is one of the dangers of eating in a college town. So most of my observational powers and intellectual energy were turned towards general issues of demographic processes and global welfare and the way that these could be re-positioned in the social sciences. There was elaborate stuff going into my mouth. I was paying more attention to the elaborate stuff going into my ears. What was going into my mouth seemed overly fussy for what it was. But it was not unpleasant. * * * Had the agenda been a romantic evening, There been a bottle of wine on the table and The goal being to make the dinner last forever, Elaborate interesting dishes could have been welcome. We started with the complimentary bread, which was warm, fresh, and served with olive oil and a delicious cheese that I couldn't stop eating. It set the tone for the meal beautifully. For appetizers: - Zucchini Beauty- a refreshing and creative salad made of thin zucchini ribbons, bright orange segments, almonds, and a vibrant green sauce. It was unique and delicious - Tuna Marine (a tuna ceviche)- bright and zesty citrus marinade, liked the green apple Mains: - Brown Butter Brown Shrimp Casserole- had shrimp, mushrooms, and thyme in a brown butter sauce. It was too heavy on the onions, which overwhelmed the plate, and the shrimp were overcooked, but the flavors were still good - Branzino- in an almond cream sauce with mushrooms, it was excellent. The skin was crispy, and while it could've used more salt, the sauce helped I was really looking forward to trying the Tirit dish since it looked so interesting on the menu, but unfortunately they were out of it Poached pear dessert- beautiful presentation, like all the dishes. Unfortunately the pear was a bit too firm and difficult to cut. All in all, the food was tasty and while there were a few minor missteps, I'd definitely return. Many creative dishes I look forward to trying here

Most restaurants we passed were empty but this hole in the wall, below ground level restaurant had people and lots of energy. In fact, when we finished our dinner and left, there were people waiting for tables. The food was good and yes it's authentic but it's pricey for what it is. I ordered the Lanzhou noodles. It's good but the broth could have been more flavorful. It was a little watered down. The beef in the broth was delicious though. It's sliced beef but it tasted like short ribs. It's tender and meaty.

At first, walking in gave me a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of the Olives I used to visit in New York City. While it's not the same restaurant, this one absolutely stands on its own. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had a kale salad loaded with vegetables and all kinds of good things like pecans, carrots, red cabbage, chick peas and more...he loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially for how good the food was. We took our meals to go and walked down the street to a picnic table, which made for a perfect, relaxed lunch in Princeton. Great food, great value, and a spot I'd happily return to. There were also some really good desserts to pick from as well, but I passed them up. Pro tip... there can be a line to order your food during busy times of the day.

Let's be honest--I come here for one reason: the soufflés. They are my kryptonite. Sweet or savory, they never disappoint. I've had the chocolate (rich, decadent, flawless), though I'm still chasing my ultimate favorite--the elusive Grand Marnier soufflé. One day... Beyond that: * Mussels + champagne = always a win * Service is warm and welcoming * Prices feel fair for the quality and experience This place has become part of my ritual when I'm in the area. I'll fly into Newark Liberty International Airport, hop on the Amtrak Acela, get off in Princeton, head straight here, and yes--plan my trip around a soufflé. No regrets. The location is perfect--right in the heart of Princeton, which is one of those charming, walkable towns with tree-lined streets and that classic, almost European feel. There's garage parking nearby, but honestly, once you're there, you won't need your car. Perfect for: * Date night * Dessert and champagne with friends * Solo bar seating (highly recommend) Bottom line: Elegant, cozy, and worth going out of your way for--especially if you love a proper soufflé.
