Went to dinner last night for NYE and it was packed! The music was very upbeat and our waiter was extremely communicative. With it being so busy, the kitchen got backed up. He kept is informed and made sure everything came out. I had the Mongolian trio! It's my favorite because you get beef, chicken and shrimp. It wasn't as saucy as Ive had in the past but still a bit. My niece had the sesame chicken and she enjoyed it very much. My daughter couldn't finished her orange chicken but remarked that it was some of the best orange chicken she's had. The parking lot was packed but there is a lot so you will be able to find parking. I do recommend getting a reservation as wait times were long. Wow, I ordered five items and all of them were so disappointing. I haven't reviewed P.F. Chang's in ages because you could pretty much count on what would happen if you decided to have dinner at Chang's or in my case at home because of chances We tried the Korean cauliflower, which was just a mess of unidentifiable vegetables and some thick gooey sauce Terrible We tried the honey chicken bundle, which was so disappointing The cake that was the dessert part of the bundle was about the size of a lemon and two of us were looking forward to eating a dessert from Changs because they're always huge The honey chicken itself was just another huge mess and all of the items had a film across them already as though they just came from a big metal bin piled high with whatever dish it was you might order And it looked like that because I think that's what it was The sushi was made with cream cheese And irritates me so much when Americans try to alter cultural foods and you end up with nothing I just sent $100 out the window and I will never order from Changs again. The quality at PF Chang's in Princeton bounces around more than a 1979 Nova with bald tires and blown shocks. Recent positive visits have melted faster than my Mongolian Tofu under their oppressive heat lamp. We opted for something they call the Chef's Feast which is basically a cheapskate meal option offering a limited menu of entrees married to an appetizer and soup for $19.99 pp. I opted for the Mongolian Tofu which had more chew than a mouthful of Bazooka bubble gum and rubber cement. Definitely my bad for being a cheapskate. The plentitude of unbused tables around us didn't help our mood or add to the experience. Everyone has a bad night but upon return I'll be a big boy and order from the regular menu. My jaw deserves no less. Three forgiving stars. read more

We are pretty loyal members of this chain. We usually stop at this location on our travels and find it to be consistently good. What I like about thia location and PF Changs in general is they are always improving their product ro offer the best experience for their guests. Thw menu is regularly refreshed to offer new options while old favorite remain a constant. My absolute favorite is the chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce. I LOVE it! And the fact that they have so many GF options, including my favorite cake, is a huge plus. Additionally, the drink menu with a list of anytime lower priced options that are yummy and creative. I picked the place for my birthday celebration as we are in the area for the weekend. I have no regrets. I had a blast! The birthday dessert surprise is an icing on the cake for a great celebration. Thoroughly enjoyed my kettle of tea. The authenticity of its taste got me. We had chefs feast for 2 package for our entree . It has a great combination, taste is nothing short of perfection. We picked their famous lettuce wrap for our appetizer, the egg drop for soup and the Mongolian trio and changs chicken for our meal. The red velvet cake made our night. The dining experience here is favorable. The staff is sweet and caring. The place has relaxing ambience. We have been here for at least 4-5 times over the past 5 years and have always have had a good experience. We went there last week when our teenage daughters wanted to go there. We ordered several dishes ranging from sushi to salmon bowl and ending in some desserts. We found almost all the dishes tasty, just like in our previous visits. The food was plentiful for us. I'm not one for chain restaurants, but in large groups I occasionally find myself at this PF Chang's location. This is probably my 7th time here over the years. My experience has always been great with both the food and service. I was recently here with a group of 10. We all ordered different items and everyone liked their food. I went with the chicken lettuce wraps and truly enjoyed them with enjoy leftover for another meal. Everyone's Chinese entrees were really good. The only thing we didn't not care for was their sushi. The lunch menu has a nice selection of options with prices about $1-2 more than the average family owned Chinese restaurant, but the decor and style of the place makes up for the price. The Happy Hour menu has great appetizers than can serve as complete meals. The main dinner menu has a plethora of options from standard Chinese fare to sushi. The interior has a nice overall vibe. My wife and I have enjoyed our dining experience in this restaurant with a satisfying pleasant ambiance. We got there at the peak of dinner time, parking was not difficult. We had reservations so there was no waiting time for us even though there were a lot of costumers coming in. The place was very clean and the table setting was classy. We started by ordering drinks, we opted for peach boba breeze and a pot of full leaf tea, both were flavorful and refreshing. We started with egg drop soup which was good. For appetizer we chose the chicken lettuce wrap, it was a little salty for me. Our entree included Mongolian trio and sesame chicken. We ended our meal with a red velvet cake. Their Americanized Chinese cuisine was enjoyable, but some people might criticize the somewhat lack of authentic flavors. Food was tasty and delicious, but again, it was slightly salty for me. Price is a little bit high for the little amount of food and quality. My wife and I appreciated the ambiance, the cleanliness and the spacious nice atmosphere which is appropriate for various dining occasions. The service here is phenomenal - very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Portion sizes of food are large and worth it. However, they had maybe three items that are nuts or sesame free and no dessert that meets this criteria. It was surprising given that these are common allergies and this is a popular chain. Wow I ordered uber eats from the restaurant and wow what a disaster. I ordered the Mongolian beef dinner. I have eaten people way for 30 years and this is my favorite meal and I love pork egg rolls. I'm a big PF chang fan , and visited this Princeton location. Unfortunately it wasn't similar to other locations that I had visited before - like freehold mall, Atlantic City etc . First of all, service is soooooo slow . It takes 10 mins for someone to come to ur table and takes another 15 mins for a beer . We actually walked ourselves to the bar to pick our drink .. bar section is sooooo slow . I think there was only 1-2 waiters .. hope they can better the service ... ambience was good Now coming to food . My all time fav is Kung pao chicken and it was fabulous as always . Ma po tofu was also awesome . Then came the not so good ones - spicy chicken - which tasted sweeter than desserts .: and ginger chicken was sooooo normal. Didn't like them much . This is the most singularly disgusting "Chinese" food I have ever had the displeasure of eating in my entire life. Quotation marks because the chain is owned by a white man who admits he wanted to create cheap, bastardized, American schlock and pass it off as "Chinese" food. This being America, ofcourse it worked, and like On The Border, is a top chain. You want authentic Mexican? Drive all of 15 minutes from Route 1 to El Guajillo on Route 33 in Hamilton. You want actual Chinese food? Again, drive all of 15 minutes from Route 1 to Schezuan House on Route 33 in Hamilton. It is 4:30 am & I literally feel sick from the food I forced myself to gag down tonight as I had been invited to a pre-Christmas dinner by a family member. Most unfortunate for me as I have a Christmas Eve dinner to attend tonight. I had not been to this PF Changs location in almost three years. Not that the food was ever authentic but it at least used to be edible. I can confirm after literally choking my food down last night that it is now absolute inedible dreck. I ordered the Korean Style Cauliflower for appetizer, the Ma Po Tofu for my main course & my old favorite from when PF Changs first opened, Banana Spring Rolls. Suffice to say, they managed to even mess up my spring rolls. Only the Coke & water were edible. It was that bad. The sauce on the cauliflower and tofu was overly thick, gelatinous, coagulated, excessively overseasoned, and absolutely disgusting. I was literally struggling to swallow my food after chewing. The sauce was that disgusting. It was literally night and day from the last time I visited PF Changs and countless previous visits where I would always get Orange Chicken & Pork Dumplings. As horrific as the sauce tasted, they literally dumped an entire vat on both my cauliflower & tofu. It was singularly sickening, nauseating & legtimately vomit-inducing. I thought even they couldnt mess up my old favorite, Banana Spring Rolls. I was wrong -- it was mushy, lacked flavor, the ice cream had excessive lumpy banana pieces in it. I couldnt even finish it. I barely ate half of my cauliflower and could barely stand to gag down a third of the tofu. The sauce was that literally gag inducing. Do NOT go to PF Changs! It is in Princeton at Market Fair -- do yourself a favor and drive 15 minutes to Schezuan House or Le Dish -- both nearby in Hamilton. Save your stomach, taste buds, intestines, colon & esophageal tract the absolute nightmare that PF Changs has become. read more

Okay. I've been coming here for about 5 years. First few visits were absolutely amazing. The food was good. The ambiance was good. I had no complaints. However, my last 3 visits, I notice a trend. The place is going down. Food quality is not the same. The tops of the wooden tables are severely scratched and the finish is worn thin thus revealing bare wood, giving it a dirty appearance. The seats cushions are worn flat. Overall, the place needs a cash infusion to restore the furniture. The pepper steak I ordered was overwhelmed with HOT spices and over powered the dish. The steak was overcooked and very tough to chew. The fire cracker shrimp was just ok and not as good as it usually is. Also, a very disturbing observation was made. Out of the corner of my eye, I observed an insect crawling on the inside of the window. It appeared to be a roach but, I'm not sure because I couldn't make out the color. It was shaped like one. Had those long frontal antennas like one. Crawled like one. I just couldn't make out the color. Anyways,,,,,,,I'm done with this place. I really loved this place but after this, I just can't do it anymore. PS: I visited this place for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and it was EMPTY except for 2 other tables. Usually I have a great experience at this restaurant, however, this time proved to be very different. We did not dine in, friends purchased diner for us so we ate at home. Had we been in the restaurant, we would've been able to handle the situation immediately. We ordered vegetable fried rice. Previously when this dish was ordered it DID NOT have eggs in it! It did this time! I believe eggs are a protein and therefore not vegetarian. We also ordered vegetable fried rice with shrimp. AGAIN, EGGS! I don't know if the chef is consistent or if they rotate them but they should at least be consistent in the preparation. WE ARE NOT PLEASED! Thankfully for P.F. However, as yesterday was the last day of my extremely toxic job I probably would have loved eating aquarium gravel if I meant I could take a 2hr lunch offsite unbothered. Work wife got the short rib fried rice and I got the honey chicken entree. My chicken was delicious but I was surprised at the portion size for an "entree." I'm glad I eat what I want when I want because if I had tried to be cute with a lunch bowl I know daggone well there woulda been like 4 pieces of chicken in it - MAX. For $20+ for my dish there could have been more meat but hell I already resigned from work in a recession. What's another ill-spent dollar amirite. We also ordered dumplings which were good but my Chinese spot in the hood makes them equally as well for half the price. The strawberry cucumber lemonade was very refreshing and not too sweet. Service was attentive and the ambience is always cute. Overall: Obvs this is a place for company lunches and friend outings. I love the lowlights at dinner but I'm too old to wait 90 minutes for a table these days. And dining in is way better than their takeout. Honestly, I hadn't been to P.F. Chang's in a long time before this visit. When I came here many years ago, I was pretty underwhelmed by the food and found everything kind of inauthentic. Alright, maybe it's not the most authentic Chinese restaurant around, but my wife and I still had a good time! The wait for a table was extremely long (it was a Saturday night) but we managed to snag two seats at the end of the bar immediately. The bartender was great throughout - attentive without being annoying, and he got us our check very quickly when we needed it (since we were going to a movie). We split some dumplings and the Dynamite Roll, and everything was pretty good. I can't say it was the best food ever, but it hit the spot reasonably well. The alcohol selection at this location was fine too - not a huge number of beers, but I was happy with my choices. Overall, we would definitely come back here to grab a bite. read more

As much as I love it here, I must update to say how uncomfortably freezing it always is here. I'm telling you when I say cold, it is COLD. I always have to bring a scarf and extra sweater and it's still painfully uncomfortable. Also, the new lighting they put in is like you're in an interrogation room being questioned by the cops - not kidding. I took a photo to show you. I just want to love coming here, but me and many others always agree it's just too cold here. I'll still visit, but less often. Also, the lettuce is almost always red on the edges with the chicken lettuce wraps. If I can get good lettuce at the store, a company like this can do better. read more

After a graduation at the Cure Center we ventured to PF Chang's to have a late lunch. We've always enjoyed this restaurant and today was no exception. I arrived early and had coffee and an appetizer at the bar. The bar is wonderful- it runs along the back of the restaurant and it's only separated by a half wall- a beautiful, well thought out design. The coffee was delicious and the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts appetizer was wonderful. The B Sprouts were perfectly charred and had just the right amount of Kung Pao sauce and plenty of peanuts. Really great! But the best part was the Bartender Sean. He greeted me with a big smile and didn't wince when I asked for coffee lol. We talked a little bit, and he hustled around doing his "bartenderly" work, periodically checking in with me. Bartenders sometimes transition into restaurant management positions, and Sean would be a great candidate! We had 6 people for lunch. I had the Korean glass noodles, sweet potato noodles, which had a ginger sauce and lots of veggies and they were great. At the table we also had two Lo Mein dishes, one chicken and one chicken, beef and shrimp and both were very good. We also had the sweet and sour chicken, which was just OK. There was also a Mongolian Beef entree which was super good and a Pad Thai which was very good. And we also had the sautéed eggplant and it was great. To finish the meal we had delicious Chocolate Layer Cake and great coffee. The service was good and the neighboring tables made it a fun afternoon. So we were very happy today. Last evening, we visited P.F. Chang's to celebrate our uncle's 75th birthday. We were a group of five adults and two children. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and our table, perfectly arranged for seven, was ready right on time. As we entered the restaurant, we were immediately struck by the two huge golden horse statues flanking the entrance. These statues were truly impressive and set the tone for a grand and memorable dining experience. Our party included a mix of dietary preferences--vegetarians, non-vegetarians, and even one person with a no-onion, no-garlic requirement. Despite this, the menu offered something delightful for everyone. For appetizers, we started with the Veggie Lettuce Wraps, a refreshing dish where crisp, cool lettuce cups were served with a savory, finely diced stir-fry of tofu, water chestnuts, and mushrooms, seasoned to perfection. The Pork Spare Ribs were tender and succulent, glazed with a rich, tangy Asian barbecue sauce that perfectly balanced sweetness and umami. We live in a small town in So Illinois so we don't have many opportunities to eat at PF Chang and our local Chinese options aren't great. So we were excited to eat here. Everything was excellent. We really overdid it. We had lettuce wraps (so good!), hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef and orange chicken. Loved every dish. Ordered the dynamite roll for an app and it had just the right about of spice just a little too saucy for my liking. Good none the less. For entrees we opted for the short rib and pineapple rice combo, sesame chicken and a side of shrimp lo mein. The short rib was more of a beef shank with beef strips. It was tender with good flavor but I wouldn't reorder. The pineapple rice was sweet as and savory with nice pineapple chunks. It complimented the beef well. Lo mein was my favorite. Hearty julienne veggies loaded with small shrimp and sauces to perfection. Wasn't soggy or salty at all. Sesame chicken had a great toasty seed flavor and different than your local take out.
