Went through the drive thru yesterday, 6/28/22, and didn't really appreciate the lack of communication received from the cashier. Towards the end, my boyfriend and I were done ordering and waited in pure silence.. he said again "that'll be it" just to hear back "give me one second", saying that to begin with would've been helpful lol Now, getting our food, took an extremely long time. No updates or a care in the world from her. Once we finally received our food, we noticed how our slices of bread were just thrown in without any bags to secure them Not sure if this is a normal thing, but it didn't seem like it. They messed up on my orders several times and had to come back and have them remake my order. And almost every time they forget my straw with my drink, which is frustrating because where else am I supposed to get a straw? And on top of that they 10 minutes per customer in the drive-through so it's always a 10 minute wait for every car. read more

So disappointed!! We love the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad w/ chicken. Tonight, they ran out of romaine (due to heavy business so they said), so our salads had spinach...big huge leafy spinach. They didn't even cut it up a little. Also, out of romaine? There's a Grocery Outlet less than a mile, go get some. Then they ran out of sourdough bread and offered apples. Apples?? This the second time I've been here when the manager with the glasses and mustache has violated heath code. The first time I observed him pick his nose while standing over the pastry. Today I just happened to see him adjusting his glasses with his food handler gloves on, and then put the sandwich on the plate. We went through the drive thru tonight (6/26/22) around 8pm and it took like 40 minutes . While that isn't ideal, I wanted to give the sweet young lady working the window credit. She was what customer service used to be. She greeted us, apologized for the wait, gave us updates on our food, noticed the kids in the back and asked if they wanted a drink. She was kind and earned this place a 4 star from me. The food was also worth the wait. Since the pandemic it has been hard to get good service even to be greeted with a smile and eye contact. That was not a problem tonight. I wish I would've gotten her name but either way, thank you. read more

I love Panera Bread and this location!!! With that being said, I just can't with the warm bowls at $11! See pics below. This is a kids meal portion. If you're hungry, you're going to have to add a value duet or something else because this portion made me hungrier BECAUSE the flavors are good, just not the portion size. Brought my sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters to eat here for the first time. She really liked it. We each got a Pick Two. We got two different salads and two different sandwiches. Our food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and fairly quiet even when it was busy during dinner time on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was clean and the food was prepared quickly. Certainly enjoyed our meal and conversation here. Will certainly be returning. The shopping center also has a good movie theater next to this restaurant and other shopping available. read more

Located next to Cinemark in the Renaissance Marketplace is Panera. This location has only been open a few weeks and seems to be running pretty smoothly. Place was clean with a modern open seating area and an outdoor patio area with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly with smiles and positive attitudes. I had a chocolate croissant and the hubby had a cream cheese pastry. Both were very good, super flaky and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to have a positive experience here with it being so new. Good job Panera staff keep up the good work! read more

Very disappointed with Panera today. I usually don't write bad reviews because I know sometimes accidents happen but today was just ridiculous! The service was very slow and then to come home to this was just disappointing. My bagel was just tossed into a big bag with everyone else's food on top of it. Did the person packaging this really think this was ok? Any other time I've gone to Panera they package the bagel in a separate small bag. Hopefully this location starts to train their staff to be courteous and have some common sense. read more

Like others , I was SO excited when Panera opened closer to my house... would not have to trek to Fontana or Rancho Cucamonga to get a decent bagel, sandwich or bread loaf... or would I? When they first opened, I was an authorized buyer for a huge local company - and already had an account with the Fontana location, but with ordering for many, many breakfast meetings, it was difficult for Fontana to even deliver in time for my meetings, yet alone have someone pick it up. So when the Rialto location opened, was excited and used them right away. To my dismay, their incompetence was apparent right from the beginning when they just didn't show up for the first meeting I ordered from them. I was furious, but I thought I would wait awhile, continue to use Fontana, and let them get some experience under their belt before trying again. Needless to say, snap forward 4 years, yada yada yada... no more job after pandemic, no more big orders for company - they never in fact got it right before pandemic. But today I went to Rialto Panera just as customer through drive- thru- which I do about every 6 months or so- at this point just hoping they have had enough time now to operate as a functional restaurant. But hope as I may, still they are dysfunctional. I went this time at approximately 9:15 am- yes, a little late in the morning for bagels- but since the last time I went at 7am-ish and was told it was too early for my selection of a dozen different flavored bagels, I thought I would try a little later.. just trying g to order 6 bagels- 3 everything and 3 cinnamon crunch and some cream cheese and 1 coffee- I was - quite rudely- told " at this time we are not going to have those flavors- we would only have blueberry or jalapeño. I'm a tone like I should know that on a Thursday morning at 9:00 am - I should know that's what they will have. In a snarky tone that cannot escape my memory. What is sad is that even if they didn't have my flavors- had they only said in a non- snarky tone- something like " I'm sorry but we only have blueberry and jalapeño bagels at the moment, would you like to try one of those or how about a few breakfast sandwiches?" The sad thing is I would have said "YES!" And tried those breakfast sandwiches and spent more than double what I was going to! But this Panera cannot get out of its own way! I have lowered my expectations and would have been so happy to give them my $ and NOT go down the street to Jamba Juice instead! I would have accepted their incompetence if only they could get the customer service part right! Or at least remove the snarkiness that seems to permeate out of this location! I have been told I'm too early, too late, ordering too much, not enough- anything that can make excuses for them not to give me my order! Sorry this is so long- I think I am just finally giving up and realizing that some places and some people just cannot ever get it right.. 4 years is a long time to wAit and hold out hope.. but I'm finally done- I give up. They have ruined the Panera experience for me.. I might as well give up and walk away and remove carbs from my diet - and never go here again! Went to the drive thru and ordered three classic grilled cheese sandwiches (July 8th at 12PM). They told me they made the wrong ones and if I wanted the ones they made. I said no. I then waited at their parking spot for them to make the correct order. I got home and they gave me the four cheese grilled sandiwhiches that I did NOT want. They didn't even try to correct it. Horrible service! My kids won't eat it. I just lost out on money and have to throw away food. I went back and spoke to the manager and she gave me a discount on our next order to make up for the incident. I still triple check my order before I leave the window. So far, so good. read more

We normally love Panera, and have never had a problem with any orders at any of the locations we've been to. We frequent Riverside Plaza often! At this location, we ordered curbside pickup. We received the email that our food was ready at 12:45pm. We waited ten minutes, then went inside and they told us they didn't have any teriyaki chicken made, hence the wait. We went back to the care for ten more minutes (4 cars went through the drive through this whole time). My husband went BACK in at 1:10pm only to come to our car and his bowl was half empty!!! He went back in, and they said they were sorry, it's because they didn't have enough chicken ready...... they should have offered us something else instead of trying to sneak a half filled bowl that we paid $12 for. They get 2 stars because my salad was well made. Beware. Check your food before you leave!!! read more

Came for dinner with a friend. Ordered at 4:55pm. It is now 5:46 and have yet received our flat bread pizza. That was the only food we ordered. There is a lobby full of people waiting. Some are saying that it has been over an hour for their food. Would definitely not come again for a while or go to a different location. Update: a door dash driver came to pick up a pizza order. The girl told her she would expedite her order. I asked about my order again and I saw a cold old looking pizza sitting there. I asked her if that was supposed to be my pizza, she said yes but I can make you a new one. But that they had just ran out of bread. I asked for my money back.
