Chipotle Chicken, Egg & Avo Sandwich and Southwest Chicken Salad

First time to Panera Bread period. Always wanted to try this place and I got to try it in Salt Lake City. I love this place. I was actually looking around to have something light and healthy for dinner in SLC and thought of this place....tried it and I love it. I ordered the chicken rancher sandwich and the southwest chicken salad. Would definitely go back to try their soups and they also have bake items on display that look really good.

The portion size was decent, but the food was mostly bland. However, the staff was very friendly, and the store was fairly clean. The papaya green tea was not bad, but it lacked the papaya flavor. Towards the end, we also ordered takeout since it was not busy. Sadly, they messed up our order :(. Additionally, I would not recommend the fruit cups. It was not fresh and the fruits were not evenly distributed among the cups. We ordered 4 fruit cups, and some clearly had more fruits than others.

Took 40 minutes to get our food, and significantly overpriced. Won't be back, unfortunately

About a year ago I noticed this spot was under construction and I looked forward to trying it out…read more I called to order takeout and the young lady that answered was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She verified my order, asked if there was anything else I would like. She let me know the order would be ready in 12 minutes and with that I jumped in my car and arrived to pick my order up in this very fashionable outdoor Riverton mall. I walked in around 5 pm. Relatively quiet but there were two large families dining and there was my Togo order all bagged up. I got Pepper Garlic stir fry with tofu spice level 3 of 5, papaya salad spice level 2 of 5 and fried spring rolls... $50 plus 20% gratuity. For two people... The interior was very nice, very clean adorned with photos and a variety of photos and art pieces from Thailand. This would be a great spot for large groups and date night. I'd come here again.

I was told, the Entrees are made to take and heat at home. Everything is made to order so it's fresh! Just be prepared to wait....for a while.....she did give us a heads up it was gonna be about 15-20, but it pushed closer to 25-30. Coming off a flight hungry, we are doubting our decision to come here. After 30 mins, our food finally arrives! We got the house sandwich (ham and turkey w/lettuce tomato and homemade herb Dijon sauce). It was served with a sugar cookie and a cup of pasta salad. Not bad for $16.99! The sandwich was delicious and tasty! Maybe cause we were beyond starving. The pasta salad was just ok. The sugar cookie was nice and soft. It wasn't crumbly or dry. The frosting on top had just enough sweetness to give the cookie some flavor. My daughter got the roast beef sandwich which came with cheese, a bunch of arugula, and a homemade garlic horseradish sauce. She opted out of the pickled onions. Her sandwich also came with a cup of pasta salad and a sugar cookie. The sandwich was flavorful and the peppery arugula completed the sandwich. We both agreed that the roast beef sandwich was the better of the two. All-in-all this is a good sandwich place. One thing I didn't care for was the long wait. I understand that they might have been a bit busy and everything is made to order, but the time that I was quoted to what we actually waited, we probably would have gone somewhere else.
