I definitely like Panera. The range of food options is good. I am considered a regular and the sip club you pay just a few dollars a month for. Unlimited drinks is an amazing deal.. I like the coffee better than Duncan or or any of the competitors. Price of food is a little high it's consistent in the chain. But it's offset by an amazing staff at this location. The manager has a knack of hiring good people for the energy always great. They never messed up. My orders is definitely the cleanest. Best run Panera in the district because I travel around the entire Bay Area. And I've been to almost every Panera. I've been eating the broccoli cheddar soup for years and especially when we eat in store it's delicious and hot. I've been going to this same Panera Bread for 10-years or more. The quality of both the food and the service has deteriorated over the last several years. Today, the side bread was completely soggy on the bottom and cold, so I went to get another piece. The girl pulled a baguette out of a plastic bag and broke off a piece. It was the same soggy texture and cold. Not warm and crusty on the entire outside as it used to be. It's a restaurant built around "bread", so when that sucks it is a good indication about the state of the chain. Also, about halfway through my soup, I felt something in my mouth similar to a shrimp shell. When I pulled it out and put it on the plate, it was a piece of plastic that had been in the soup. Food is always fresh and delicious and made right! I don't know where they find the people who work there, but they are so friendly and accommodating. The dining room is clean and organized and they go out of their way to be nice to customers! The booths and decor look a little outdated, but it's clean and the food is good. Sip club is a lifesaver. Ok. Is this the best Panera Bread? No. Was the food good? Yes. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and it was soooo delicious. It had an amazing combination of flavor, warm bread and juicy, tender chicken. Could not have asked for a better sandwich. The problems. Their soda machine was down and none of their juices were appealing. Maybe the universe was telling me that I needed water in my life, but I was really craving a high-sugar, carbonated beverage. I go to this Panera often for a quick bite because it's extremely convenient to my house. The parking lot is huge and parking is never a problem. I find that EVERY time I've gone to this location I have to take out my hand wipes I keep in my purse and clean the table and chairs. It's extremely hard to find a clean table to sit at! I have noticed on a few occasions and at this last visit a woman going around the tile with a mop. At this particular time she was literally mopping under my feet and others while we were ordering. The tables were in more need of a cleaning than the floor. There wasn't a spill or anything that needed to be cleaned up, so I'm not sure why she was mopping under our feet. I noticed many girls standing around behind the counters kidding around with each other. I'm not sure why the manager didn't send one or two of them to clean the dining room tables & chairs. After I cleaned the table and seats we were able to enjoy our lunch. I always enjoy the Fuji Apple salad with a soup. This time I had the tomato soup which was good. My husband always gets some type of sandwich. There are many different sandwiches to choose from. They have egg sandwiches and soufflés. The soup menu changes daily. It includes creamy tomato, chicken & rice, broccoli cheddar, and cream of potato. Some of my favorite lunch items are the turkey bacon bravo sandwich and the Fuji chicken apple salad. You can sit with your tablet or laptop without feeling hurried to leave. I have to say a big KUDOS to Panera for rocking the curbside rapid pick up! I placed my order using their app and in less than ten minutes I had arrived, parked in the rapid pick up location, marked that I was there on the app and the Panera employee was walking out bringing my order. She was very polite and was taking the necessary precautions using a mask and gloves. I mean I was so shocked that it was THAT easy! I will definitely be using their rapid curbside pick up again! Today I tried the new Strawberry PoppySeed Salad and O.M.G is it delicious! It was fresh, yummy, and plentiful! I included a couple oatmeal and berry cookies which were nice and soft and oh so yummy! "Bread with Toppings" - not sandwiches! Ah Panera ... your halo is slipping. Once the destination for artisanal triple-s (soups, salads, and sandwiches), it now seems to be descending into the "almost as good as the deli counter at [name the supermarket]... but not quite." I went there for lunch yesterday with my in-laws. My mother in law had a salad. No complaints, but how badly can you screw up a bowl of lettuce? I had the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt. It was good. Not great, but good. I would order it again, although despite not being a 'big lunch' guy, I was still hungry when I finished. My father-in-law, who treated us and joined the MyPanera points club on this visit, didn't fare so well. He ordered the Steak & Arugula Sandwich. Oh there was bread, lots of bread. There was arugula - I saw it. The steak? [insert game show loser buzzer] OK, I realize Panera markets itself as a bakery, so the bread is the star. Great, but, if one advertises "sandwiches" the word connotes a certain center filled with goodies. Nope. Not at this Panera, not this "sandwich." A hearty sourdough bread was dotted with a small amount of "ingredients," or it wasn't. In fact, with a third of the sandwich still uneaten, my father-in-law parted the bread to show there was... a small piece of lettuce and a 1/4" sliver of onion. Now dear readers, I'm a realist. I wasn't expecting a Carnegie Deli sandwich with a two-inch stack of meat. I will point out, however, that even McDonalds, the love-it-or-hate-it granddaddy of fast food franchises has figured out how to apportion meats and toppings so they actually fill the bun and therefore each bite. Not so at this Panera. Even if the initial content of the sandwich met Panera's serving guidance, it was assembled so as to have most of what little filling there was on only one side of the sandwich, yielding nothing but sourdough bread for a full third of the meal. Sloppy, miserly work, Panera. So Panera, maybe you can take a cue or two from the deli at the local Publix supermarket. As I recall a sandwich I bought from there several weeks ago had fresh-baked bread too(!), and a bunch of meat/fillings double-to-triple the volume of your sandwiches(!), and cost less than a half of what you charged us for an almost-empty bun. If you can't increase portions, at least apportion the fillings to maximize the yeasty real estate. Otherwise, you're selling "bread with toppings," not sandwiches. As the Drill Sergeant says, "I am cruel but I am fair." You charged us for a sandwich but delivered almost-empty bread. I cry "foul!" read more

I frequent this location often as it close to home and not too crowded. Every visit has been generally on par never had a problem the food is as ordered and hot. Flavors tend to blend aromatically on there new bowls which is why they have become a favorite for me. Staff is friendly and with clear your table if they pass you and noticed your been seated for a time. It's a chain breakfast/lunch place, with bagels, breads, sandwiches, and soups. You can combine these items in the "You Pick 2" menu and get something like half a sandwich and a bread bowl soup, if you'd like. They offer Pepsi(tm) products to quench your thirst - but have teas (hot or iced) as well if you'd rather drink that. Also, there are free lemon wedges for your soda! You can take as many as you'd like, but if you load up your cup with them to bring home for your personal use, you may get an odd look, so do so at your own risk. The outdoor seating area is on the western side of the building, so the morning sun is blocked - making it a nice, shady spot to drink your delicious Pepsi(tm) product. Also of note are the low lamps! You may bonk your head if you're tall and looking at your smartphone, so please pay attention to your immediate surroundings! I loved my visit to Panera Bread as always. Service was super friendly and fast. I tried out the new ancient-grain-arugula-chicken-salad which was very delicious and hit my taste buds to the fullest. My all time favorite tea of course is the tropical hibiscus unsweetened iced tea. I had to of course also indulge in a cinnamon roll pastry paired with a nice hot decaf coffee and some skim milk. Of course Panera is noted for their fresh baked products, and comfort food products... but they also offer reliable fast (and free) WiFi! So for me this was ideal during a quick lunch break i was able to conduct my business as usual and answer some emails while eating my lunch. But As I was waiting for my food I peaked over the prep station area, there is many breads and open, and sandwich meat sitting on the counter.
